The Mirror reporting that Moussa Sow has allegedly hit a snag in his contract talks and says it's his dream to play in the Premier League. The article quotes him at 10 million? Surely that's worth a punt?!

Heard anything relating to this ED?

Heres the article:

www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/Transfer-gossip-Moussa-Sow-10m-rated-Lille-striker-targets-Premier-League-move-after-pay-talks-collapse-article836209.html

Nico {Ed001's Note - I am pretty sure we have been saying for a while that Sow is available, he was always likely to make the move to the Prem. Personally I feel Arsenal are his most likely destination, but that's just based on a feeling not info.}

Hello Ed
I know that the subject of Adam Johnson leaving City was talked about many times but if LFC can get him they should. World class player!!Get rid of someone and get him! Any chance Ed? {Ed002's Note - Slim but not out of the question.}

Dont think there is any chance A Johnson will be going to Liverpool , I can see City and Liverpool being the top two , very soon , united are on the way down , city will not sell him to us . redforever .

He signed a bumper contract with City not long ago and was quoted as being happy/club progressing well etc.....although not impossible, we could be priced out of a move me thinks??

Hi Ed's do you know if Aurelio is likely to leave in Jan or will the club wait till the summer? {Ed002's Note - I doubt that he will leave in the winter.}

I saw Eduardo Vargas' agent mentioning that AC Milan, Inter, Arsenal and Liverpool were all interested in Vargas (source: ). Have you guys heard whether he is a potential target, or is this just his agent talking up his client by mentioning some of the larger clubs?

He's obviously very talented (considering he is up for South American player of the year), and he could be one of the more talented South American prospects who could leave for a relatively normal fee because he's Chilean rather than Brazilian/Argentine.

Thanks so much!

(Roberto soldado) He has been watched by Liverpool on a handful of occasions this season, including against Genk in the Champions League last week, where he bagged a hat-trick in a 7-0 win.
The only stumbling block to a potential deal would be the fee, with Valencia looking for around £20million for Soldado, a figure that would blow the majority of Liverpool's January budget.
That could be tempered by including at least one of the Merseysiders fringe players, such as Spanish striker Suso, a previous Valencia target, and another young prospect which could knock £5million off the asking price. -source metro. Certainly we ca aff

Suso, in part exchange. Sure, I'm never gonna be behind this deal. Soldado is a good player, but Suso can be massive for us, in the coming future.

They shall never take suso!

You don't understand... We don't have a transfer budget.. The owners make calculated decisions on their buys. So if he fits the bill we will buy him, or whomever else they see is quality

Suso Will Be Fantastic

Hi eds, I was just wondering if you think that we will be safe from approaches from other clubs for our players come Jan ?
Blader. {Ed001's Note - yes, the players leaving will be those we want to leave.}

Who do we want to leave ed? {Ed002's Note - The fans seemingly want Carroll and Downing to leave. Depending on results they also want a mix of Henderson, Carragher, Kuyt and Dalglish to leave as well.}

How nice is that. its been a long time that I've believed we've approached a window with no rumours of everyone wanting out. Just imagine what was going on a year ago. seems unbelieved now!

JJ

Haha i certainly do not want any of those to leave. some fans eh. you eds do have good chat.

I'm assuming that was a tongue in cheek reply ED002... xP

Hey Eds has there been any new development on Honda...I think he would be a great buy for liverpool but do u think we have any realistic chance of getting him this jan {Ed001's Note - as far as I am aware there are no new developments regarding him.}

Gaz b

Grrrrr - people make you!!

Why do you take time out of your day to write this rubbish? I mean seriously, GET A LIFE.

Just left my contact details and you can all swallow your bulls***t in january
DCG

I have absolutely no doubt that, regardless who Liverpool buy in January, DCG will be back on here to triumphantly announce that it was the transfer deal that he was talking about. Feel free to leave a few breadcrumbs for us to ponder so that we can at least say that you were in the right ball park. If not, you're as well playing with your xbox as posting nonsensical rubbish that says nothing in particular.

What a load of bulsh@t stupid wan@@

Arsenal, Liverpool and Inter Milan are set to fight it out for Fiorentina star Juan Manuel Vargas, according to reports in Italy.
The Peruvian has regularly been linked with a move to the Premier League and has reportedly been told he can leave Florence in January if his club receive a bid of more than £10m.

PLEASE DONT GO LIVERPOOL. HE HAVE HUGE DRINKING HABIT AND LATE NIGHT PARTY. BEEN DROP 2 TIME FROM 1ST TEAM IN RECENT MONTH.

Considering we spent £26M on a whole new left side in the summer I doubt this is likely.

Hey eds,
i've heard a rumour that Roberto Saldado of valencia has been put on KK's wish list. Any truth to that rumour? I would also like to ask what you think of him?
Thanks

A DIE HARD RED {Ed002's Note - Soldado is having a good season but his availability in January is by no means certain. At about 25M euro he would not be cheap.}

Young and busy player always like to score until match over something cavani did well. good in air too. euro 25m go for him liverpool

Hi Ed, any truth about Royston Drenthe? I read that he wouldn't cost that much, 2.5-5m£ - I don't doubt his skill and pace, and he's got a good left foot, can play LW, LB. Seems lika a 50/50 chance but I think he could become a decent player in our squad. What are your thoughts? {Ed002's Note - Seems an odd one to me. After all of the time he lost at Madrid on the fringes of the team I would expect he would want first team football and with Enrique and Downing the best he could hope for is a position on the bench. I am not convinced about these reports.}

Hes out of contract at the end of the season so wnt cost anything.

belfast red adam

He's barely good enough for the toffees never mind us

Guardian rumour-mill has said we could be in for David Villa of Barca. This would be a massive coup if we pulled this one off. Any truth it eds?

Even if we could pull the villa deal off would it be good for liverpool long term?

Spending 40M on transfer fee plus another 30M on wages/signing on fee etc. on a players that has 2-3 years left in him would not seem like good financial management for a team that does not have a sheik at the helm?

Do you still want him?

Would you put the club on the road to financial ruin for any short term gain that MAY come about?

What happens if he's another Morientes?

dark shadow

I've always been a fan of Villa but look at the facts: (i) he turned us down twice when moving from Zaragoza and Valencia; (ii) he is approaching 30 and only has a couple of years left; (iii) his wages would be astronomical and; (iv) he has never wanted to move out of Spain and so may have issues with homesickness and/or uprooting his family. I think if we weigh up all of these factors there are better long term options in the market at the moment.

Sturridge would fall into that category and I believe that we may regret not taking him as a part of the Torres deal.

Use £35m not pay u back nothing. so £30m 2/3 year top class then go for it. we need a top class man along side suarez.

At some point we have to realize that we need some short term gains as well as long term investments. It will be much easier to pull in high profile players if we can add immediate talent that will push for a Champions League birth and prove pool has a legitimate chance for success not only for the short term, but also in the long term through young, talented investments.

Read that Liverpool are intrested in Jadson, is there any truth in this? {Ed002's Note - Jadson very nearly joined Arsenal in the summer and at 28 and with Shakhtar out of the Champions League a move would not be a surprise. However, reported interest seems to be based on speculation at this time.}

I'd rather have Willian if we were to take anyone from Shakhtar tbh.

TSP

Please NOOOO...this worst brazilian player...

Jadson is quality.

eds do you know if we are interested in leandro damiao and if so which other clubs are competing for his signature? {Ed002's Note - Leandro Damiao seems to be of interest to several clubs at the moment not least AC Milan who want him to replace Cassano but need to free up a non EU quota spot to buy him. Spurs and Arsenal have apparently have taken a look recently as have Porto and PSG. His agent is talking up offers but that will probably not be anything to do with transfer fees, just possible wages. Over the summer there was also interest from Juve, Roma, Lyon, Sporting Lisbon and Barcelona have shown some interest in the past two months.}

I read that Milan have bought Maxi Lopez, and still hope to get Tevez, so this probably rules them out of the competition.

Drigan {Ed002's Note - AC Milan have agreed to a loan for Lopez which takes probably takes Tevez out of the equation rather than Damiao. I don't think Internacional will want to let Damiao leave this winter unless a very good offer is made. Milan were never looking to buy Tevez and Manchester City have no interest in a loan deal.}

Ed, can I add that spurs have an affiliation with internacional, damiao's team! Leandro has been to spurs lodge, to see his great mate sandro! Its understood spurs are his choice of destination?

Morning eds any chance of us signing either fellipe melo or bringing mascherano back? Thanks eds keep up your hard work!! KingKennyBeliver {Ed002's Note - There is no chance of Melo in January and I very much doubt that Mascherano would be welcomed back.}

You have just seen Lucas Leiva stop the best player in the premier league this season with his defensive heroics and your looking for a defensive midfielder? Get your head out of your arse!

Melo is a poor excuse for a defensive midfielder and pales in comparison to Lucas. It's also good to see that Lucas is finally getting the recognition that he has deserved for his progress over the last 2 / 3 seasons

Would not, could not change Lucas for Mascherano...we have one of the best defensive midfielders in the WORLD in Lucas...ff sake, have you watched us play this year, mate?

To follow up on the talk about Russian league players, any word on Dzagoev moving? Could do a good job as attacking mid for us. I know there were links to Chelsea a couple of years ago, but it has been silent on him moving since.

Already asked several times mate. Little to no chance; I rate him too, but there is no interest from OUR club. Besides, russian players do not have a good record in the league, do they now?

Drigan
