ed002 just see Palace are odds on favourites to sign Clyne. Do they hold any true interest or just a case of 1+1=3 because they sold Wan-Bissaka.

{Ed002's Note - The odds are meaningless of course. CP have had a bid or two rejected for their first choice and have moved on to their second choice, but he is attracting attention from other PL sides and they have a third choice they have made contact for only to be told there are two Italian sides trying to strike a deal involving players in exchange. Then comes Clyne but the money needs to be reduced a bunch.}

ed002 what's your thoughts on Clyne he gets loads of stick on here. Am not sure myself he is as bad as everybody says. Thanks Ed have a good weekend.

{Ed002's Note - He could provide the cover required at RB if a buyer cannot be found.}

Clyne receives much criticism here due to his lifestyle. However if Liverpool have no intention of ever playing him, then why not ask for a realistic transfer fee to move him on.

GFlash IMO, Clyne to me, was always a poor player and Klopp had been trying to get rid since the summer of 2016 and IMO, it is why he fast-tracked TAA to the first team as a RB. Clyne is a poor defender who lacks end product offensively, can't cross, can't defend and is a ball-watcher who is half the time, out of position. Sure he is a good athlete BUT we know good athletes don't always make good footballers. See Kyle Walker. All of these have nothing to do with his lifestyle cos I observed all these BEFORE I kneww anything about his lifestyle.

Fair enough Redwolf, I only mentioned his poor lifestyle as Edo1 had previously mentioned it. With all that in mind, maybe Liverpool should drop their asking price to move him on as Edo2 has mentioned.

Clyne did well as cover against Man Utd.
I don’t think it would be a disaster if he was RB cover and Mignolet was second choice keeper.
Clyne’s lifestyle I cannot comment on but if it is so poor, then Liverpool should just move him on.

There is a reason why Clyne is not in the picture. The club want rid and that surely says enough about the situation.

There must be a reason why Bournemouth do not want to take the option to sign him permanently either otherwise they would have made an offer after loaning him.

Just let him go even if the fee is minimal, he’s not gunna play and he doesn’t seem like a top guy. If he wants a football career he has the chance to make one then.

Whats minimal? £4.£5.mill? why should we, we shoud easily be able to bring in between 10-12m for Clyne with the silly prices going round these days.
