Hey Eds, is Enrique back for the game tomorrow?

Piledriver {Ed001's Note - possibly.}

29 Jan 2013 22:50:39
Eds, do we hold any interest in Swansea's Neil Taylor (injured currently) or Luke Shaw of Southampton? As I believe we need a LB in the summer as when Enrique is in the mood he gets injured {Ed001's Note - yes, both are of interest, though it is highly unlikely we would get Shaw, certainly not for a reasonable price.}

29 Jan 2013 22:09:27
Liverpool are in for Fer everton can't agree on the £6 million fee up front, they want to pay half now.this is from a blue nose friend of mine who text me an hour ago giving out haha

Hope so good player plus would be so funny

Nonsense. He has had a problem with his medical and Everton are trying to restructure payments. Nothing to do with Liverpool, your mates a bs lol.

Well done the second person replying! I cannot understand why people make up this nonsense as if others cannot access normal news media. Everton have simply asked for a restructured deal given the problem with Fer's knee but the deal is apparently still 100% on.

Fer has failed his medical due to knee problems, I would stay away from a player that can't pass a medical

29 Jan 2013 21:06:24
Hi ed.. In hearing all this talk of city bidding for Suarez.. Do you know anything about it and are they even interested.. Thanks {Ed001's Note - I have not heard of any real interest. Seems unlikely they would want another small, busy forward, when they have Aguero and Tevez.}

They are man city.... you never know

Do you really think we would let him go without a replacement lined up? We are not going to make that mistake again.

29 Jan 2013 21:28:18
Eds fellow reds, this is the big last day transfer man city £20 million for fernando Torres .watch this space

Don't worry back to sleep it was all a nasty dream. Zzzzzz

Just stop...move on with your life

Thanks but this has nothing to do with Liverpool.
JazzaTheRed

Amazing reply there. Should have read it when not drinking I sprayed my phone with beer. Damn waste.

Mart86

Chelsea haven't got enough strikers to sell him

What space? The one inbetween your ears where a brain should be?

At least he's not being linked to us anymore

... and when I click my fingers, you will wake and remember none of this

29 Jan 2013 21:26:27
Liverpool will bid £14mil for Bayerns Luis Gustavo in hope of completing a deal before the deadline. Brendan Rogers rates the Brazilian international very highly, and his versatility from Defensive mid to Left back is seen as ideal.

Bradley TNT

Wouldn't be a bad player to get in, started out as a LB/CB and is a CDM now. But he would be a steal for 14mil as Bayern paid that for him a year ago on a 5 year deal.

I can see a player whose first choice in Bayern Munich wanting to come to Liverpool atm...

29 Jan 2013 21:17:50
Dunno if this is true but reps from bayern offerring a centre back not know the name plus 50 mill for saurez pre contract conditions.....smart move by bayern, I still would not sell him anon

29 Jan 2013 20:35:14
Well lads. Apologies, I sent in a message earlier relation to Liverpool rejecting a 35 million pound bid. I Sent it from my phone at work in a bit of a panic after I got the call. The player in question is indeed Suarez. Also clearly I'm meant from Man city not for. Simple error.

However, it seems a foreign club has heard wind of this bid, and has also tabled a bid in and around the same as City have. I am not sure however who this bid is from, but you would expect it to be one of three clubs, Juve, Bayern or PSG.

Again lads sorry for the confusion.

#KMK

Why would suarez unsettle his family and move half way through a season, he's on fire, scoring for fun, why would he want to rock the boat now, suarez is happy at Liverpool, he has said so many times and Liverpool won't except a bid for him as we don't need to, he's just signed a long contract ect, you can just see his love for the club, maybe one day suarez will move on and I for one don't blame him, but he's not going anywere at the moment. do do, do do do do do, do do do do do, do do super suarez.

Suppose Mancini himself called you. I'd work on your tone as you do sound rediculous

You are so full of BULL that cows find you attractive!

No need to apologise for your writing, you should apologise for the crap you come out with.

I never once said LFC will accept... just a bid has been made

#KMK

Thanks for clearing that up for us, you seem to be in the know its almost as if your making it up.

29 Jan 2013 23:49:15
Look lads, I'm a Liverpool supporter too. I'd hate to see Suarez leave. What I don't like is just because I'm bringing news you don't want to hear I'm getting abused. Its a Liverpool transfer rumour site. Transfers happen both in and out. Suarez leaving is inevitable. It will happen. The wheels are in motion. Have been for some time. When the story of this bid breaks, I'll be here, with a smurk grin on my face, waiting on the apologies...

#KMK

We know lad, that was the BULL everyones on about.

What utter rubbish, attention seeker!

29 Jan 2013 20:11:51
city will offer £50m for Suarez. another Torres moment for us? who can replace Suarez. Villa, Jovetic or Wilian

hhh

Just can't belive it untill I see it.. Suarez has got too much love for anfield!

Eriksen and damioa.. But these players aren't coming because Suarez isn't leaving..

Maybe we can buy Darren Bent for 35m :-)

Red Lee

There isn't a single player in world football (apart from Messi and number 2) that could replace Luis Suarez.

29 Jan 2013 20:48:16
Oh the irony, City play in Uruguay national colours, surely this could not happen .
Or could it ??

Remember when Torres left his first game was against us, we play city on sunday history repeating?

I bet if we paid west ham 35M they would let us have AC back for the rest of the season.

There are no other player like Suarez who LFC could possibly attract. LFC will not be selling Suarez in this window. If LFC do not improve in the league table I can see suarez leaving to another club unfortunately and I have said I previous posts/comments he will only want to play in the Spanish league.

FowlerGod.

Lazy assumption! Once ballotelli was confirmed it was only a matter of time before this started. Will be all over the papers tomorrow .

For the first responder - I seem to remember something about Torres having too much love for Anfield!

If you were a footballing professional like Suarez would you stay or go for success, trophies and champions league football, none of which we can offer him?

They will bid but he won't go

How about NOBODY Suarez will be staying for many years hopefully.

BigD

Oh yes he is! Coutinho has made the wrong move.
Oh dear.

Suarez isn't going anywhere!

29 Jan 2013 21:10:12
Torres was a great bit of business, he didn't want to stay, his form had gone off a cliff and 50M was too good to refuse (shame we blew most of it how we did).

Selling Luis for that money now would piss me off no end - even if he wants to go he needs to be up in the 60-70 bracket especially to the richest club in the world, especially in the jan transfer window!!

But all sounds like BS to me anyway.

Why would we accept it, and why would suarez go there!

Never goining to happen, if suarez was to ever leave, he will go to germany, spain or back to holland, man city are going to put a bid in for falcao anyway,

Alexis Sanchez.

But in all seriosity, extreme caution should be had if deciding to, or being forced to, sell a bonafide world class player like Luis Suarez.

No one can however some will we could buy so and so for that may the 23 yr transition continue.

We would probably sign benteke for about 30 million if its going to be like the torres situation

Danny Graham.

If Liverpool sell Suarez to Man City I will walk away from the game sick of how things have changed.Money this money that I am sorry folks its all wrong. what's happened to the "beautiful game"!!

I have just got a sneaky feeling you could be right. Though I would expect him to stay any way.

I'm offline for a couple of days and I come back to this drivel.so we sell Suarez to City and play out the rest of the season with just Sturridge and the woeful Borini as strikers.Unless we somehow miraculously manage to sign a replacement as good as he is before the window closes.I'm not loosing any sleep over this tosh.

The Plank

If we sell Suarez to man city for 50 mil we get a striker back either tevez or aguero

None of those players could replace Suarez.

ANON :- A deal is currently being thrashed out, 52 million is being banded this consisting of cash and 1/2 players, BR trying to stop it but not looking good ! Bye, Bye Suarez .....

News from london which normally doesn't get printed cause its normally the truth from certain footballers! But heyho I suppose they don't know much! Ed2 is a sarcastic legend, brilliant comments! But anyway suarez isn't leaving until the summer! Talk of eriksen is way off as he has stated he would wants to join spurs!

Have heard Gerrard is going with him to keep him Kompany

He won't go, if he was to go Liverpool wouldmlikely table 2 bids for sanchez or lewandoski

29 Jan 2013 18:14:32
Coutinho. Liverpool's no 10. He has agreed terms and completed his medical too. Wil be announced in the next 12hours.

How do you get a work permit at this time of night ........ ?

Couthinho is great

24 hours now mate

They may delay the revealing of couthino until Friday, as they will parade maybe 1 more as well as couthino come Friday afternoon after Thursdays window close

I see brains of Britain joined us with the 1st reply! Muttonhead

Got a litle scared after reading that Inter was really happy to sell him so they could give more strength to the squad... how good is he?

Could this be a smokescreen ... Just saying

Dont think this will happen in the nxt 12 hours now mate its nearly time for bed

29 Jan 2013 17:31:57
Another good forward also midfielder who just handed his transfer request in for Swansea. Any ideas if we bided for graham

Graham isn't Liverpool quality

Graham is a striker.

29 Jan 2013 17:11:50
Suso not in tomorrow's squad.

RobInRed

And? Suso not been in most squads lately!

Going some where on loan then maybe

Tomorrow squad hasn't been announced yet

Shame as I rate this lad, higher than Sterling if i'm honest.
Hope he's one who fits into BR plans

Shame? He can learn a lot by going out on loan and get more game time. He would learn a lot if he spent the second half of the season in the Championship to toughen up! I know for sure he is in the clubs long term plans..

First poster chill, just informing!
Second poster - he tweeted he wasn't in squad and is staying in Liverpool.

I agree hope he can succeed under Rodgers

RobInRed

100% suso has not traveled to arsenal

29 Jan 2013 15:27:23
Sunderland supposedly after Downing, offer them him in exchange for Stphane Sessgnon then grab Ince and I would be very happy with January window, not that I am not already.
Now pick up three points tomorrow and 1 against Man City and it would be a great week.
Lanarth

29 Jan 2013 17:33:03
Downing's been playing better than Sessegnon since mid-October.

So that's a no for me.

- Something Red -

I would rather keep downing, don't know what all the fuss is about Tom Ince

29 Jan 2013 18:10:06
Why not take 6 points from Arsenal and City?

Sessegnon is overrated and has some issue with finishing his chances

Let Ince go to Reading. We have a 35% sell on clause and when Reading go down, we'll get him for a lower fee anyway, he's not ready for us yet.

A great week? Knocked out by Oldham.

Downing is in sublime form.

I agree, without the distraction of the cups we can concentrate on improving league position. Steph is.a great struggling.a little at.the moment but would certainly bring.some added steel.to midfield and downing needed the threat of transfer as the motivation not what I would consider lfc attitude.

Downing was clueless against oldhams weak defence

Downing in sublime form? Is that sarcasm. He's improved but far from sublime.

Sessegnon is not over rated, take the time to watch other matches once in a while and you will see that managers often deploy 2 players to defend against him, this has left flether johnson and mclean all free to sweep up, Sunderlands change in form recently was due to Oneill taking advantage of the extra man...it's usually mclean

29 Jan 2013 14:08:54
Courtinho passed medical leon red

29 Jan 2013 13:51:20
reading have bid for ince and ince is quoted as saying he would like Liverpool but prefers first team football and he wants to kick start his career and go on to win things,

dave

Yes, good news, I really don't think ince is ready for playing for Liverpool

Nevermind chaps if he wants to win things he'll sign for Reading

Pardoe

29 Jan 2013 13:43:27
Liverpool reject a 35 million bid for a premier league club, believed to be Man City. They are willing to do business but it would be nearer the 50 mark to persuade Liverpool to part ways

#KMK

(Sent this twice, not sure if the 1st one sent or not)

I am guessing this is talking about Suarez.

Is this for Downing?

Try 35million plus Aguero and then we'll think about it....

Jockred

Liverpool is worth more then 35million, good thing they rejected it

Who for ?? if its coates then I think we should take it :)........andy.

If City want Suarez then they'll need to pay big money. Selling him to another club in another League 40 would be fair.

To sell him to a league rival, irrelevant of table positions, put an extra 10 million on that.

29 Jan 2013 17:19:20
Pretty sure Liverpool are not in a position to sell Man City

Jack robinson is not worth 50mil

35 mil for man-city that's cheap!

Liverpool are worth more than 35 million

Is this a cryptic rumour? Or should I assume it is Suarez you are talking about

Post makes no sense i'm assuming suarez is the player we are talking about?? not that we have turned down a 35 million pound bid for a club ??

Don't think Coates Is worth that much..lol if your going to spout your crap at least give a name...norn iron red

I assume you mean for Saurez but if they offer 35m for say Borini then I'll drive him there! Saurez isn't going anywhere!

29 Jan 2013 18:12:03
One assumes that offer is for Suarez, correct?

- Something Red -

Is the player involved Jay Spearing ?

I doubt we could buy man city for 35 million, seems awfully cheap!

We've rejected a 35M bid for Manchester City?

Or are you talking about a player, and if so, are you meaning Suarez?

Absolute madness, if true.

For Downing, Coates or Robinson ? Or all 3 ?

I'm going to assume you mean Suarez. So, even if this had any possibility of a basis in truth, *why* would he choose to stay in a country that hates him should he ever leave, much less suddenly display disloyalty to the only team and set of supporters that back him? If Suarez ever leaves, it will be out of England.

SpudRed

Agree with SpudRed.

Personally, I think he'll end up at Juventus rather than Bayern.

We will be lucky to get jay spearing for 35 mil

Suarez is going nowhere. It's all bollox!

Suarez will stay till the summer. He won't leave Liverpool for any other English side. If a top Spanish side like Real or Barcelona come calling he will be gone.

Andy carrol

Suarez isn't going anywhere.

29 Jan 2013 20:32:57
Sorry lads. Sent this from my phone at work in a bit of a panic after I got the call.

#KMK

I said this 2 days ago don't think the eds put it up

If Suarez goes to man city it should be 35 mil and aguero

29 Jan 2013 23:58:29
Spud red I agree with you totally. I can't see him leaving us and going to City. When he does go, which will happen, it will likely be to juve, who have been courting him for quite some time. All I was told was that City bid for him. I can't see Liverpool selling him for that. Another foreign club has bid for him.

I would imagine now that Liverpool will soon 'leak' this info out to entice the Juve and the Bayerns of this world to enter a bidding war. This is just my opinion on what will happen. Suarez will not be at Anfield by the start of next season barring a miracle.

#KMK

29 Jan 2013 13:35:16
Ince deal officiall in next 48 hours

Ince going nowhere till summer most prob us

29 Jan 2013 12:28:07
Hi all,

BR is trying to push through a deal for Diakite of Lazio regardless of Coates going or not.

Ince, we all know about, is staying at Blackpool until the summer as LFC won't up their bid.

And possibly Zarate on loan.

McLovin

Good signings to boost our squad

Zarate isn't going out on loan. Lazio & his agent have said that they want to sell him for 5m

29 Jan 2013 11:58:21
Coutinho done deal we will hear 2moro also as I said at the start of the window Liverpool won't meet blackpools fee for ince.

andy08

Sly Sports Itailia have confirmed he has completed his medical and will be confirmed within hours.

With that in mind, I'm expecting him to sign for Spurs haha

rrrrrRedAlert

Maybe its just wishful thinking but I see similarities between Coutinho and McManaman. Both slight players, good dribblers, mainly assists though will popup with odd goal.

SA

Sorry but ince is no better than we all ready have so what's all the fuss

29 Jan 2013 11:16:31
Coutinho will be last signing but expect a late bid for ince. if that doesn't do through then Liverpool will continue the deal in the summer.

29 Jan 2013 13:56:39
another waste of money. Liverpool need to sack brendan rodgers and appoint a good manager, until they do expect disappointment. arsenal will wipe the floor with us tomorrow night don't kid yourself into thinking they wont

29 Jan 2013 13:39:02
tv are saying Reading retract offer for Thomas Ince.
Don't know what that says about us moving for him, just passing on the news!

Chris in Northampton

Ince should finish the season off with Blackpool, I think he's blossoming into a fine player. 15 goals in 27 games in the Championship and domestic comps is not shabby at all.

Jonjo Shelvey was on 6 goals in 12 games for Blackpool before we recalled him from his loan last season. He's not featuring regularly which is a shame as he's great in my opinion, but it shows these lads can play given the chance.

BoriniCanDoIt.

What station is reporting reading retracted bid
Davross

I'll go out on a limb (not too far out mind you) and say that if Blackpool don't deal what we want to pay for Ince now then we'll look elsewhere either now or in the summer and he'll never be a Liverpool player again.

SpudRed

If Liverpool lose against Arsenal and City the chances are Rodgers will be sacked. {Ed052's Note - no they're not.}

29 Jan 2013 11:14:41
ESPN reporting coutinho work permit is sorted

Just looked, there clearly not

ESPN: 10:00 GMT: Coutinho's work permit application has been approved and the winger is expected to sign for Liverpool by the end of the day.

Its posted in the "On the Move:" blog.

Sign tonight then

29 Jan 2013 10:54:51
Rodgers told that Coates need game time and wil be allowed to go out on loan, but feels he has a thin squad and wil see in the next 2days.

Definately needs more game time, but whether this would actually improve, him I don't know. doesn't impress me though. Cant see him being farmed out through either sale or loan, unless anyone else is brought in. Far too thin on the ground in defence in terms of quality and experience to allow anyone to leave from that position without a replacement being brought in.

If Coates can't do it against Oldham, then he can't do it in this League. We should offload him Asap

29 Jan 2013 10:17:42
Coutinho undergoing medical now. Squad number 20?

Squad number 10

10 most likely

Should be 20 and switch to 10 if he proves himself in the next 6-18 months.

29 Jan 2013 09:53:58
Hello Eds,

Have you heard any rumours regarding Mathieu Flamini? I've heard he is set to leave AC Milan and could be available on the cheap. Decent DM and a pretty good LB too! Could his versatility appeal to LFC...? Here's hoping!

Also, I am 99% sure that Arshavin is set to leave Arsenal. I'm guessing LFC have no interest in him whatsoever...but just passing on what I know.

LeTrench {Ed001's Note - I would like us to look at him, but have heard of no interest in Flamini, shame as he would provide some extra bite in the middle.}

This is left field, I would love it, bring him back to England, he was at his best in Arsenal.
Not gona happen, but here's me hoping aswell.

If anyone in the central midfield area comes in, surely that spells the end for one of Shelvey, Henderson or Allen. We have a lot of players in that position, but we are really missing that quality third player to play with Lucas and Gerrard.

What would he bring that Lucas doesn't guys?

Jman {Ed001's Note - cover for full backs.}

Apparently we don't need a defensive midfielder in this system. Strange how even Barca have had the likes of Keita, Toure and now Busquets, and Arsenal haven't won anything with their 'soft centre' since the likes of Flamini and Silva left, who were preceeded by Petit and Vierra.

Rodgers is too naive and idealistic. Weren't we all when we were young. Experience teaches us differently. Rodgers needs to 'mature' fast.

...personally, I can't see anything in Joe Allen to justify his price tag.

But hey, what do I know! ;)

LeTrench

Rodgers knows better than any of us what it takes in a midfield to make this system work. He knows this of an order of magnitude better than any of us. It will be addressed. You're entirely too naive if you think otherwise.

However, he also knows and so should you that there are a great many more teams in the league that *don't* play like Stoke and that our current midfield can dominate.

The obvious problem was up front for us. Putting chances away and being able to make teams sit more players back in defense instead of just trying to counter Suarez only. We had to address this first and foremost.

SpudRed

Arshavin rubbish. Flamini average

Flamini would be good for the playing side but stories about his attitude at arsenal make me think we should stay well clear as would be very disruptive

Oldham don't normally play like Stoke. This will just be be how the majority of teams will play against Liverpool. We need some steel.

rikdangerous

29 Jan 2013 09:28:35
Eds, and info on Williams? Exactly what the team needs in terms of a genuine presence and leader (apart from gerrard and carra) and info would be appreciated, keep up the good work cheers. {Ed001's Note - no info to give that I know of. We need a defender, journalists are lazy, so they link us with players from Swansea. I don't know of any more in the story than that.}

Williams will only sign in summer.

Ain't going to miss wembley final

29 Jan 2013 08:32:39
Hiya guys, it's old Ed029 Mikey here..

Got some hot news for you,

Coutinho deal/medical all done and dusted, just waiting for work permit to come through, expected shortly.

Official announcement will be made straight after.

Mike (MJS)

Are you really a ed ? Sorry mikey if you are and great news

Gezza1982

29 Jan 2013 09:18:11
deadline day deal for ince

29 Jan 2013 08:19:03
Liverpool likely to push for one more (loan) deal before the end of the window..

JK

29 Jan 2013 10:43:18
who?

29 Jan 2013 05:22:37
Eds is it true that Coutinho is at Melwood for a medical or just more speculation? Wasn't BR quoted yesterday as saying they are still negotiating with Inter? He wouldn't have a medical before the agreement is made between the 2 clubs would he? {Ed002's Note - Read the posts.}

Medical today mate.

Not to mention that whilst the general sequence of events is run as
1) Clubs negotiate
2) Club and player negotiates
3) Medical
4) Signing

This doesn't always happen, especially at the end of the window - to save time if it looks like everything will work out without a problem, the club can give permission to talk to the player without having a price agreed etc

Cheers for answering that for me mate.

29 Jan 2013 03:07:01
FSG to release around £40m transfer kitty for the Summer + Carroll fee. Liverpool actively scouting a new number 1 goalkeeper, a first choice centre half to partner Agger and a centre midfielder. Kyriakos Papadopoulous is believed to be on BRs radar. Igor Denisov is another.

Its seems far to early for them to be saying how much they would spend in the summer surley they would wait and see where we finish

Bern leno or ter stegan as a GK for me. J

And how do you know this? Are you a fly on the wall?

Haha. absolute load of rubbish

What about Papadopoulous's commitments in Albert Square?
Fox Dangerfield

Papadopulos!! he is a really good player and tough CB I know him because I am from CYPRUS and I travelled to GREECE and watched him live....huge potential but he has already rejected a bid on the region of 20 m from zenit

You play far too much football manager

No chance, if anything they will want money back in, rogers will have spent over 50m soon, and with no champions league, they will want something in return

Fsg Would never announce the transfer kitty. ups prices. Apparently they had no money to spend this transfer window, and we will have spent 23 million once Courtinho wp comes through

redphil

I thought he was tied into a long term contract with Sesame St......

I'd like to think this is true but there is absolutely nothing to back it up! and yeah I reckon FSG will wait to see where we finish before making any rash decisions like spending 40M

Rodgers will be sacked by then!

Williams apparently with Eriksen.

29 Jan 2013 00:17:46
Eds is there any interest in granqvist from us {Ed002's Note - No.}

29 Jan 2013 00:47:48
Coutinho deal to be announced tomorrow which will be the last signing of this window. Ince will finish the season with Blackpool and move to LFC at the start of the 2013/14 season. BR and LFC will look to really bolster the squad further in the summer but as far as Jan goes its pretty much a done deal for us. Hope it's enough...
OzRed

It isn't enough. Oldham proved this.
We had a thin squad that BR has done nothing but mention it needs adding to. We move out Sahin, Cole, Morgan and probably Coates.
In comes Sturridge, maybe Coutinho.

Not enough.

How do you think 20yr old untried Coutinho would have done last Sunday....

Coutinho would not have been as invisible as Allen against Oldham. Yes the squad is thin but not that bad, managerial errors caused most of our problems.

Or sterling, shelvey, Robinson, wisdom. All great potential but not producing the goods often enough to be first team players. Skittle and agger both overrated. Johnson can't defend.i am sure summer will be focused on that other big problem. I came home from anfield for the first half of this season commenting that, besides the fact that we can't score goals or stop conceding them, we look good. The attack is looking better now. Lucas and gerrard just about provide some steel on midfield but back up for that is required. I would have kept spearing as back up.

Erleichda!

29 Jan 2013 11:07:39
If he is the only one in we definitely won't make top four. The strength in depth of the teams above us especially at the top end are far more potent. We lack goals and penetration from the wide areas inparticular, and at the back look vulnerable. New keeper, new center half desperately needed and enrique always getting injured. Robinson not ready and not back to where he was prior to injuries. Lots of solid midfielders but all too similar at the moment. Some work still to do in the summer.

From a bpool fan you don't need ince you have as good if not better players and that money should be spent on your defence re oldham.ince is good but believes he is better than he is not a team player.

In summer who?

Too early to speculate over the summer. I'm sure BR already has targets but in regards to who we will actually sign will depend on our finish

29 Jan 2013 00:31:53
Hi eds, just a quick question. I have tried the search function but cannot really find out much.

What is the situation with Christopher Samba? He was a powerful defender for Blackburn Rovers before moving to Russia. Is he available and could Liverpool afford him? I know he is 29 but I think experience is what is needed at the moment.

Thanks in advance

Red Lee {Ed001's Note - wages are the issue, I know Newcastle enquired but were put off immediately. He does want a move though.}

Samba's too slow. A massive Unit but slow.

Eds and Reds,
What are the chances of Liverpool going for Fraser Forster if Pepe Reina leaves? {Ed001's Note - no idea, I don't have a crystal ball to tell the chances of that.}

Skrtel will leave in the summer and be replaced by ashley williams!

I hope not, skrtel is twice the player williams is, he has been our best defender for 3 seasons now

Williams is good to a point, a mid table team, which at the minute we are, but if we have aspirations to be in the top 4 we don't need a consolidation signing like williams!

I have been told that this will deform happen

Ey Skrtel is a good defender but he gets bullied by big strikers and is error prone, costs us a good few points a season.

Need a big english centre back proper leader who can sum Liverpool up. maybe not williams though.

It is things like this that mean we are going to continue going backwards

Skrtel may leave. But Williams?

I'd go for Dawson

Niether Williams nor Dawson are good enough to replace Martin.

Martin is top quality and if he leaves it would only be for a champions league team. Surely Ashley would only join if Suarez was to leave after he was outspoken about wanting to knock him out!!

reports in Mexico about Liverpool being interested in Hiram Mier, gold medalist at the olimpics and a great young center back.... heard anything eds? I think he would be a great signing {Ed001's Note - he is linked with English clubs regularly, it never seems to amount to anything.}

Hi Ed great job with website and information . Just one question do you think we will be doing a loan deal before the transfer windows close. And if so who do you see coming in on loan .

Thanks Ed {Ed002's Note - It is looking less likely as time moves on.}
