Have it on very very good authority that liverpool will not look to sell Mane even if a bid of over 150 million € is made. to raise money the club has at least 10 others to sell before any of the key players apart from Wijnaldum.
Also I read a comment about how Mane makes half Salah's wages which is totally false as he signed a new deal not that long ago and makes roughly the exact same as Salah and Van Dijk.

We will price Mane out of a move this summer. Barcelona won't break the bank for him with them needing a major squad overhaul.
In 12 months time however, I would expect one of Mane or Salah to be moved on to bring in a younger wide player like Chiesa, Moussa Diaby etc to continue the squad rebuild which has already low key started at the club.

Hope not, I would be gutted if he left, no amount of money could replace his ability. Mane is one of our key players and he should not be sold under any reasonable circumstances, no matter how much another club bids for him.

I made that claim. I agree that quite some time ago there were reports that all front 3 had signed new contracts. All pretty much at similar salary level. But then I saw new articles recently citing Mané being still at the old level. And statistical websites using the old level for Mané, and new ones for Firmino and Salah. So I assumed maybe the new contract fell through. Perhaps someone who knows can confirm?

Nobody has said Mane is leaving. Ed002 has simply said Barcelona could make a move for him as a Messi replacement.
Until anything happens nobody knows how this will play out, and especially not on good authority. Unless they know the Liverpool board members, the Barcelona board members, and Mane personally. Then they might have the ability to make an educated guess.

The FSG model is to sell players prior to the last big contract, usually at least.
It worked with Coutinho, even though under different circumstances.
No one wants to loose Mane, yet we bought Him, Salah and Bobby at mid range prices and turned them into world class players, and will likely do that again at some point. As long as JK is in charge and there are no brain farts like signing Dembellend, we will be OK.
Mane is going nowhere this summer anyway as he is under a long contract and is very unlikely to throw his toys out of the pram.

Ed has said his agents were discussing the matter and a figure was proposed. FSG will also sell if a value is matched.
Klopp has already said that's the model club works on and he is very happy with it.
It feels like he can leave imo.

I personally couldn't care less who makes how much, or how long their contract runs until.
We need the "front three" to start scoring goals.
I don't know what has happened to them, but since about the new year, they don't seem to present anything more than an average goalscoring threat.
I counted 3 crosses from the left today that just needed someone to time their run into the box, and it would have been a tap in.
We are repeatedly being mugged by teams that have a fraction of the number of shots or changes we have in a game.
No room for sentiment if we are to dominate.

100% agree Red 67, we are not keeping clean sheets enough and our front 3 miss a lot of chances and there aren’t many goals coming from midfield. All needs improving ASAP or we will be going for top 4 again this season and not the league.
