Close to signing Given eh? Wtf are Liverpool playing at? Don't you think we have other priorities at say. CENTRE BACK? Holy crap! For the first time I doubt the intelligence of Rodgers, does he really think that a GK is a priority before Sunday? Shaking my head as I write about this, it's a joke.
Believable28
Unbelievable65
As far as I know, the club work on multiple transfer targets at a time. Assuming this rumour has legs, I doubt we have to wait for a GK transfer to happen before any other transfer can be done. Multitasking I know, must be a women working on them.
Agree3
Disagree1
I'd imagine Given will be on top of everything else needed, do you not think?
Agree2
Disagree0
Wait to see what happens over the next few days before judging. Rodgers has said in interviews, as have the Eds that a centre back and a attacking player are being looked at.
Agree2
Disagree0
Calm down sunshine.
It was a story in the Daily Fail. Nothing to be jumping up and down about right now.
Agree3
Disagree0
LoL, that was reported in the Daily Mail, true or not that's the source.
Also if Rodgers does get Shay Given on a free transfer then that's not the worst thing, he's really experienced in the Prem and internationally and is a fellow Irish man Rodgers would obviously be keen to work with and maybe get into a coaching role, who knows?
But if that's the worst criticism you have for Rodgers then that's hardly a criticism at all. Just my opinion though.
Agree3
Disagree1
I'm sure of the rumours are true we wouldn't be signing him at the expense of another transfer target
It's also being reported in The Times and The Guardian not just The Fail so may have something in it
Personally wouldn't mind him, far better than Brad Jones, and with all his experience would be great for Mignolet to have him around
Agree2
Disagree1
I know other people have said as well but still have to comment, of course they have to be working on more deals than this one, that's even if they are working on this (I hope they are would be great cover for now and maybe coach for future) hopefully we strengthen centre back and another forward at least but as we know from last year and this working on deals doesn't always end up with them wearing the shirt! Can't wait until window shuts and we can concentrate on who we have.
Agree2
Disagree0
Its called multitasking and after us losing several players and realizing that we only have one decent keeper, this is a smart move.
Agree3
Disagree0
Well they also said he would come on a free transfer and as we only have 2 gk on the squad with experience i'd say it's a good idea in my book.
Agree3
Disagree0
It is more to do with a future coaching role don't knock it lad,
Agree3
Disagree0
Have you heard of something called a "back-up keeper"?
Agree3
Disagree0
@BigJud
So we only work on one transfer at a time, eh?
A bit of experience as back up keeper would be a good move. Given has always been a top keeper and Mignolet would, no doubt, profit from Given's advice.
Good move, if true.
Agree1
Disagree0
Hey Comeon. How can this be a disaster?
Rodgers have identified several targets. Inside people in the Office handle the affairs and negotiations.
This is Multitasking. Several targets can be approached at the same time.
Im my opinion it should not be a suprise if Liverpool signed another Goalie. If Given is availeble at free transfer he would be a great resource for the club.
I expect us still to sign a new Central defender and a new offensive player.

You can work on two things at once, Brendon's probably not even around, given will be so much better that that wreck brad jones!
Agree0
Disagree1
Bigjud, I really don't see what the joke is about signing a decent backup keeper like Shay Given?
If Mignolet did pick up an injury, you would be the first one on this forum screaming blue murder as to why we never signed a good backup keeper.
Seems as though there is no pleasing some people.
Agree2
Disagree0
He is way better than Brad Jones.
Agree2
Disagree0
You're a spud. If you have been reading the papers or anywhere you'd see Liverpool are fighting to get some Centre Backs in. Just because the Shay Given move is easy doesn't mean it's priority!
Agree2
Disagree0
Wind yer neck in a bit mate. Signing Given is a clever bit of business and doesn't come at the expense of signing other players. As a previous poster has said, Given has years of top-flight experience and is a good back-up to Mignolet.
Agree2
Disagree0
I think Given would be a great signing, but I don't agree with the disrespect shown by some towards Brad Jones, I think he filled in quite well when called upon, remembering that the last couple of years have been a very difficult time for him personally. definitely wouldn't call him a wreck!
Agree2

30 Aug 2013 10:27:00
Shay given would be a great addition to any squad, be it back up or as a coach, he's a model professional and gentleman, also has over 120 international caps for the republic which is no mean feat so don't knock this signing, cause in my opinion it would be a good one.
Agree2
Disagree1
Given would be a good back up for the Reds.
Good business from BR but can't help thinking Given could get some first team footy in other sides? Does he really want to play second fiddle at this stage of his career?
Can't help wondering who the "Marquee Signing" will be though!
Agree2
Disagree0
I 100% agree with Griff3003, Jones has done nothing other than give his all for the club in such tough recent years for him and I have to say that when he is called upon he jumps at the chance to play and has has mostly put up decent performances having being called upon on numerous occasions.
Having said this a move for jones may benefit him, get him the first team football he deserves from such a true gentleman with 1st class commitment. He is still only in his late 20's and maybe a move to a championship side or back home to australia would be best for both parties.
I also completely support the signing of Given if true and I believe to be another shrewd piece of business from BR in terms of a quality, experienced back up keeper at no additional cost, with a low signing on fee and low wages. Hopefully this entails a coaching role too as there are few who have his level of experience and ability.
Cheers guys.
Agree1

Shay Given IMO is still better than Reina. Always was. This is a great back up/coach. Given is a terrific shot stopper who could teach Simon a lot

Dont think there is any reason to panic look at Arsenals efforts so far I am confident of a C.B or two and a marquee before closing not sure there is any truth to Given though.

Hey eds, is there any news on
Sigurdsson? I heard we put in a bid! {Ed001's Note - I don't know of any bid from us this summer.}
Believable4
Unbelievable34
He would be a good signing for the right price, Rodgers extracted quality football from Siggy when at Swansea and we haven't got that midfielder who makes punching defence splitting runs. Hendo made a great one against Notts County and got his goal though, but Siggy does it quite often and we could do with that I think.
Agree3

No thanks, not an improvement on what we got already, let him rot on the spuds bench, he chose to go there and now he can enjoy reserve football and the occasional substitute appearance.

Hi eds,
With Kaka telling Real Madrid he wants to leave, who's got the best chance of getting him? R we in the running at all?
Cheers {Ed001's Note - you do realise that, until Ronaldo moved to Madrid, Kaka was the world's highest paid player, right? He is still on huge wages, way out of our stratosphere. While I expect him to take a cut, I am quite sure someone in Turkey or Russia/Ukraine, even China, will offer him a huge salary that he will take.}

Personally I think this is an excellent bit of business. Jones is terrible.
You do realise that LFC are capable of multi-tasking?
What would you rather we do? Line all signings up in order of importance and follow each through to completion before moving on to the next?
I very much doubt that BR is that thick that he isn't aware that we are in need of a CB. He has his targets but these things take time.
Agree2
Disagree1
Kaka has wasted his last 4 years at Real Madrid, another in a long line of footballers who have been swallowed up and spewed out of that club.
Good luck Gareth Bale. :)
Agree4
Disagree1
But wouldn't he want to try one last time to get to the World Cup? He will get plenty more notice at Liverpool than those Russian/Turkey/China etc.?
Well at least do you see us being 'interested'? {Ed001's Note - I really doubt we will pay a player with his injury problems and lack of form wages in excess of 100k a week. Even 100k a week would be less than half his current earnings, in fact it would be less than a 3rd when tax is considered! It is just not going to happen and nor should it, this isn't the Kaka of a few years ago.}
Agree4
Disagree0
If you want Kaka at LFC, there is an easy way to get him playing for the club.
What you have to do is: go to Real Madrid, put in an offer, get the offer accepted and then fly Kaka to England. We will all be waiting for you. Good luck and God speed!
Agree1
Disagree4
Atletico according to most people here in madrid.Depends on him dropping his wage demands
Agree0
Disagree0
Wages are a problem however these would be offset by the substantial merchandising and advertising revenues that a player like Kaka brings.
The biggest problem is the simple fact that there would be several teams able to offer champions league football.
We don't need players like this at LFC at this time.
Agree0
Disagree0
Would wages really be a problem? I mean he gives a fair amount of it to the church anyway. I think the wages are just something Madrid threw at him to make sure he went there at the time. I would love Kaka to be our left winger. He could teach Coutinho/Sterling and Ibe so much about making soace for a shot and such

Ebeneezer W Henry has already said he's not for sale. He can't be sold lest Norbert Colon ends up with considerable omelette on his face. The Thrifty One's credability would take a severe battering if he was sold now, and reputation is something which those in the higher echelons of the business world sometimes take years to build up. Besides, after his punishment of training alone, Suarez has been reincorporated as a happy, fully functioning member of society (i.e. he is back training with t'others). To me, this all adds up to the fact that we'll see him line up against Man U in the League Cup. Marvellous! A bit like a new signing really.

29 Aug 2013 21:36:12
Eds,
1. How many (if any) new signings do you expect to be completed before the window shuts?
2. What positions do you expect to be filled? (I know we were looking at a left winger before the injuries to Toure and Coates, so I'm not sure if maybe we're too distracted with the centre back position to worry about the left wing) {Ed001's Note - 1. Expect? One, though we want at least two.
2. Centre half and left sided forward, possibly a second centre back too.}

I heard today that the Bale deal is at risk as Madrid lose faith after extra hurdles being put in the way by Levi. They have been holding talks with Liverpool for the past few days to line up a backup plan for Suarez.
At the moment Suarez will be staying put, and both he and the club are expecting that. But a deal is being designed so that if the Bale deal collapses then Suarez will move for x amount, and we will get a player on loan until the Christmas transfer window, or until a replacement is bought.
Borini keeps popping up on here with people saying he's going, but that is not going to happen btw. Rodgers still sees him as a big part of Liverpool's future.
Believable8

I don't believe Suarez is moving this window, depending where we are at the January window will be a huge test. Thinking top 4 and he stays till next season. Suarez IMO is gone no matter where we finish unless we win it all. JMO

I'd find it a complete shocker, as Sturridge is the focal point of our attack. Even when Suarez is eligible to play he's on the left or right of Sturridge (at least from what we got to see last season) and it worked well. Look Torres was great for us, even when he was coming back from the crock/injury he got for Spain, in his last 5/6 months he still got a clutch of goals, despite claims about him not trying as much.
I would welcome Torres back BUT I wouldn't understand his position in the team be it Sturridge has been flying for us. 19 games, 15 goals and 5 assists! That's awesome from Sturridge and Torres would command such a huge wage, that I can't see him being compatible to FSG's policy as well as knowing how much Torres desires to play as the focal point/front man in attack. Just my opinion.

P. R. suicide unless it's a loan where we cover less than 66% of wages, and seriously he's not even going to catch every week.
He needs to drop a level and rebuild himself as a week=in, week out player, back to athletico or somewhere like Marsielle or Napoli.

Eds, has a loan move for Barry only surfaced due to Joe Allen's injury against Notts County? Or does it have some legs? Wouldn't be convinced by his signing but Thanks regardless. {Ed001's Note - I don't know anything about a loan move from us for Barry, Everton and Stoke, yes, but us, not a thing.}
Believable3
Unbelievable14
I think Barry would help sure up the midfield no end, he's seasoned and has been captain at one point or another for every team he has played for including for the national team at various ages/levels, which explains he has a very good mentality, much like Toure. I think he and Gerrard work well together as well.
It's like the Torres rumour, wagers would have to be much more viable for our resources than Chelsea/City's but Barry would certainly help the midfield and steady us greatly. We're short on experience and Barry does come with that, despite the whole Alonso/Barry/Rafa affair a few years back. I think it could be extremely shrewd business.
Agree2

Maybe the source mixed up ourselves and Everton. Similar to the Kone situation, when we mentioned as well? Think he's time has passed but would still do a job for teams further down the table.

Hi eds, I believe one of you guys mentioned that BR is pressing ahead with a loan deal for Moses (believe it to be Ed001) You also stated that he is going against the advice of signing him. Is this the case? Don't understand this move, as he seems to be covered in that position with Ibe and Sterling. So where would he fit in and which source advised him again this? Thanks again. {Ed001's Note - Rodgers is the reason we are showing interest, yes it is against at least some people's advice. I can't speak for everyone involved with the club, but not everyone thinks he would be a good signing. Having said that, there are always people who disagree, so I guess we just have to hope he knows better than those of us who don't think Moses is the right man. He doesn't believe Ibe and Sterling are quite ready to be first choice starters.}
Believable10
Unbelievable4
If above is all true on what the ED is saying, if both player Ibe and Sterling "split" the time I think the position is covered. Moses a waste of money IMO. {Ed001's Note - I just think we need to be careful, if we get too much cover in, the young players won't get a chance. If this generation of youngsters doesn't get a chance, the next one won't want to join us.}
Agree3
Disagree1
In my opinion Ibe and Sterling are in no way ready to be first team starters week in and out in the Premier League, yes undoubted ability and huge potential for both of them but they're still both very young and need the support Moses would offer. Moses for me is much more physical and would offer great competition and give the manager more options overall, which has to be the ideal scenario for Liverpool heading into the next 36 games.
Surprisingly Moses scored 10 goals in 43 matches for Chelsea overall, only 1 in the League but a 1 in 4.3 goal ratio for an off the bench winger is something Rodgers may think he can improve on and capitalise from. We've sold Downing, loaned out Assadi and missed out on Willian, Moses at 22 maybe an ideal signing for a modest fee and wage with onl days left to operate in the market. I'd certainly understand Rodgers decision to press ahead with the player.

29 Aug 2013 23:30:27
After Coutinho and Sturridge I'd allow BR the gamble, plus the way he shipped put Nuri shows he acts when a plan doesn't work.
Agree1
Disagree0
Thank you for your insight on the situation. I personally don't believe that Ibe and Sterling are ready for the first 11 every week either but surely they provide good cover from the bench? And if BR is only interested in bringing quality first choice players, how does Moses fit in? Would he be regarded as a starting player? The move doesn't add up. {Ed001's Note - it seems Rodgers thinks he would be a fairly regular starter, yes.}
Agree1
Disagree0
I agree with Rogers if that is the case, Sterling and Ibe are not ready for the first team, they are only 18 and 17, not physically strong enough yet and lack valuable experience that will help us push for a top 4 finish. I have no doubt they will become brilliant players in the future but Moses is much stronger, experienced and generally better than both of them right now and will definately strengthen the squad.
Agree2
Disagree0
I do Like Moses. He is a skillfull player. But i'm only unsure how he would fit in a system.
He is a great player in a team he gets a kind of free role.
A loan with clause to buy could be a good deal.
When it comes to Sterling and Ibe there is no doubt they got talent and skills. But they have to get their chances and nutured carefully.
But bringning in Yarmolenko instead of moses could be a great MOVE.

Hi eds where are all these borini out questions coming from? Has someone just made it up? Also Andriy Yarmolenko plays most of his football in the right side cutting in on his left foot (Brendan Rodgers style) which is obv where he's gunna play for us, Suarez our new left attacker then?
Cheers {Ed001's Note - I have no idea why the Borini rumours have surfaced, unless it is from a club interested in him trying to test the waters. We are certainly not looking to move him on right now. I have no idea what Rodgers plans to do tactically, perhaps he would like a left footer to play on the left for a change?}

Eds that's a bit negative considering the strong reports today being linked to Sakho or Lioril. {Ed001's Note - I know, but being positive always seems to backfire mate, so I am deliberately negative at times. Like I wanted us to sign Medel, so he joins Cardiff and we never even move for him. Believable28

ED, let's say we DO sign Sakho till Friday, do you see him in starting team against MU? I know this would be risky but I don't know what is worse - to play Wisdom, who is not ready yet, to play out-of-form Skrtel who is just back from injury (if I am not mistaken) or Sakho who just came from another club and might not be just there, too. Argh. {Ed001's Note - I would play Kelly.}
Agree1
Disagree0
I'll be quite shocked if we signed Sakho as he'll no doubt want first team football. Skrtel will not want to be rooted to the sidelines for 2 seasons back to back and Kolo I can't imagine wants to sit on the bench in his latter playing days.
I think Illori or someone of that ilk would come in as a back up still learning the trade as it were, I can't see Sakho arriving as a back up. I might be guilty of creating a false dichotomy here? But it's a little surprising is all.
Agree0
Disagree2
Isn't Kelly still unfit? If he is then it would be too much of a risk to play him, and I agree with the above poster that Wisdom isn't ready yet for the centreback position. Also, Skrtel is just returning from an injury so I think playing Sakho (as long as he arrives in time) would be our best option.
Quick question, do you know if we're looking to bring in just 1 CB or 2, according to some reports (apparently we're trying to bring in 2 of Sakho/Alderweireld/Ilori)? {Ed001's Note - we would like 2, we have been trying to sign 2 all summer.}

Also the Yarmolenko deal depends on Borini if Roma give us a good offer we will sell then make a bid but the fee will be around 10 million with add ons not 20 like the papers are saying! Fingers crossed Cheers PDLFC

So if what your saying is true then;
Barry would be a good back up for Lucas or rival.
Sakho would be excellent weather a loan or permanent deal.
Moses i'm not at all convinced by we already have Sterling & Ibe we should be going for a proven quality player instead.
Ilori was always on the cards and a good deal.
Yarmolenko I've not seen so cannot judge him but I hear he is suppose to be a good player.

The max number of loan deals is 4 mate! We already have cissokho on loan add moses, sakho & barry to that and we will be fine! Just to make myself clear Yarmolenko will only happen if Borini is sold! The fee will not be anything near the fee reported on by the papers! Like I said weeks ago keep your eye on the net spend once the window is shut Cheers PDLFC

You can't have that many loans there are rules for loans. All I can say is whoever we sign let's give them a chance before we say they are not good enough because Liverpool are not team they were but there on the way back so show faith in Rodgers and the owners they are trying.

Well to be fair there's no guarantee we'd get all 3 players on loan. 2 out of 3 would be a surprise and I'd settle for 1 at least.

I'd be delighted if this is true. The reds are definitely lacking a few older heads and the likes of Gareth Barry would bring in some much needed experience. Not sure all reds fans would agree. Sakho, Moses and Yarmalenko would all strengthen the squad for sure. 4 signings in the next 4 days? I doubt it but hope i'm wrong.

Isn't the loan rule different if it's a loan to buy?

Interesting fact here about Barry. Barry was set to move to Liverpool for £15 million in 2008 but changed his mind when he watched a pre-season friendly in which players chanted the name of the man he would replace, Xabi Alonso, before adding "you can stick your Gareth Barry up your *rse". So he joined Manchester City instead.

Just saw this, thought I would pass along. Liverpool table £19.7m bid for Ukraine ace Andriy Yarmolenko. Sky Italia revealed an offer had been made. those reports were backed up by Ukranian newspaper Gazeta, who claim Liverpool are close to sealing a deal for the 23-year-old star. The article did say he was sought after by acmilan (I believe, I apologise if wrong the team didn't write it down), but he prefers the epl.

Could easily sign both Sakho and Illori. Would give us Agger, Toure, Sakho, Illori as the 4 CBs with Skrtel remaining as cover for Toure til January, when he will be moved on. Wisdom will then have the chance to go out on loan, as was always planned for this season.

Why not?
If both Sakho and Illori, then I would assume Skrtel is off to Napoli and Agger is off to Barcelona.

Recent press quote about Adam Johnson. "Since his transfer to Sunderland he has struggled to find form"! When he was with City posters on here were wetting themselves because we weren't after him. hi eds, bar the derisory prospect of us loaning in victor moses (i shudder just writing that) do you foresee any other attacking signings by the end of the window? thanks as always {Ed001's Note - we are only, from what I can find out, looking for one more forward option, to play on the left side of the attack. Along with a centre back, that is the priority. Unless somebody is offered out of the blue, it is highly unlikely, improbable even, that anyone else would come in, other than maybe some kids for the academy.}

Moses will do the same as what Sterling & Ibe can offer us, i'm really hoping Arda Turan or a proven quality winger will come in as we bid for Mhitaryan, Costa & Willian so were obviously looking for quality and not quantity for once so for me that rules out Moses as he fits into the quantity bracket. Center half if Skrtel leaves as expected than i'd go for both Ilori & Sakho, if not than i'd go Sakho.

Rodgers cannot possibly think his current squad is good enough, no replacement for downing, no long term centreback, no long term gerrard replacement. I can't help thinkin the americans are following int he steps of their fellow countrymen and are just asset stripping for all they're worth. what's the current debt on the club at the moment.

Keep hearing we looking for a left sided player but who is a likely option who are we looking at? The rumours a no existant on that part except if you count moses which is not going to provide more of a threat and impact than sterling and ibe.

So I don't know if he would see us as the best place for his career progression right now.}

Yeah because we have a really strong squad right now so selling off another player makes loads of sense.

Dear Philistine,
Please tell me the topic of your discussion on your way down?
If you're a 'supporter', I'd suggest one of the following:
1. I doubt this is true. If so, good luck Fabio! I'm sad things didn't seem to work out here, mostly due to injuries and fickle fans abusing him for no appearant reason .
2. I doubt it is true. He has shown some promise. And I hope he's going to carry his recent form against utd u21 into the first team. YNWA!
Or whatever flows your boat. Well, except being disrespectful that is.

I hope this is true because this guy is awful we could use the money to buy some1 with at least an ounce of talent

The most annoying thing about Notts game; due to the injuries and them scoring meant Borini couldn't get on after half time, was looking forward to seeing him play.
He just needs a decent run of games
Agree5
Disagree0
I would take that money for him. I don't think he has enough composure on the ball to be a top level striker.
KR - I don't think you can condemn Philistine for his comment, he is entitled to his opinion.
I doubt that we will sell him, it is very close to the transfer deadline and our priorities lie in bringing in a left winger and center back. I don't recall being linked with any strikers for quite some time. {Ed001's Note - Roma signed Ljajic to replace Lamela anyway.}

29 Aug 2013 11:53:25
Londoner - I wasn't condemning Phillistine for his comment. I was saying he was in fact condemning Borini, rather than giving him the time and support needed.
If he does not believe Borini is good enough for Liverpool fair enough, I have my own doubts about him and believe if he doesn't relax and show some composure in front of goal he could be moved on at the end of the season. But there are ways to go about your 'reservations' and stating that he would drive him there himself is slightly disrespectful to a lad who has tried his very best and continues to do so for Liverpool. Simply showing a little respect for Borini is not too much to ask for IMO.
Agree3
Disagree0
I think people are forgetting that we still have Suarez despite his antics if he stays which I think it will he will ad more strength to a promising side. Would not be at all bad if he left and we could reinvest money into another area. He just hasn't had the time to settle due to injuries. Personally he is talented just needs time and i'd like him to stay but if the club feels he has to move on good luck to the lad
Agree0
Disagree0
Borini has been given plenty of chances and enough time (last season)-
FFS he is a centre forward and I saw him play at Anfield during the first half of the season, I made the assessment that he was not good enough to play for Liverpool. I think when BR left him out on Tuesday for a Carling Cup game and started Sterling and Ibe instead, it told us that the manager does not think he is good enough. If the manager thought he needed confidence he would have had him start so he could get his goal.
Instead he is being asked to play for the second string a la Jonjo Shelvey and we all know what happened to him.
I have been privileged to watch a long line of forwards down the years from Keegan, Dalglish, Rush, Fowler, Owen, Torres, Suarez, and possibly Sturridge and I do not think that he is half as good as any of those.
Borini, like Joe Allen was what is known as an IMPULSE BUY when BR came in and by God, I think he regrets them now.
Agree0
Disagree0
Give the guy a break, i'm hoping he goes no where as can see potential, he's had such an unfortunate start to his LFC carrer and I hope he is given time to prove himself.
Agree0
Disagree0
Londoner - Seems like we have more KRs here with the same opinion. Anyhoo, I don't see the opinion in the phrase "I'll drive him there myself". It is more of a statement. And, of course, a lie. (I can't see anyone here taking two days off work, and petrol prices being high etc. And then spending some good time in a car, chitchatting with an italian footballer they seem to despise. Can you?)
But, it is a rumour site. Of course people are going to lie here. And some others will express some common sense.
Agree0
Disagree0
Can't see us selling him as we are already 1 short in terms of experienced attacking options, plus his career at LFC has been blighted with injuries. If we sold him then we'd need to sign two attacking players as we haven't been able to sign one in almost 3 months how the hell can we get 2 in 3 days?
Plus give the guy a break he's young and the transition from the slow Italian league to the fast prem always takes players at least a season to adapt and he was injured for most of that.

They can take Allen too

Borini needs 6 weeks of solid gametime before we know what on earth he is, it's not going to happen in the first team so I'd start trying to get some 90 minute appearances in the reserves for him.
There are glimmers of a good player but strikers play on confidence and between injuries and the times he his been fit other strikers being on form there has been no chance of truly assessing him.
Agree0
Disagree0
I'm with KR. "I'll drive him there myself" is a bit harsh. Borini has had no luck with injuries, but on the odd occasion he has figured he hasn't set the world alight. I watched the U-21's last week and he scored 2 great goals, but if you can't get minutes v Notts County then it looks ominous. Some of our fans need to recall the treatment of Lucas and Carra in their early days at LFC and GET BEHIND WHOEVER WEARS THE LIVER BIRD, hounding individuals and looking for scapegoats is out of order.
