Any idea who the big signing is ed ls

{Ed001's Note - no, sorry.}
Think this is another time when it would have been best to say nothing. Everyone was already happy after the game, now expectations are raised again.
Agree3

Fingers crossed. Stevie was immense today. Nigel de Jong maybe? Now essien has moved?
Agree1
Disagree0
Please don't class DeJong as a major signing, this is why I can't get my hopes up :/

Another loan possibility for #LFC. We're in negiotations for Mancity James Milner!
We might not get him but can't fail to post after seeing the 'Flick-up and volleyed through pass to Sterling' Long live Liverpool Football Club
Believable6
Unbelievable64
Milner is pants, just another Stewart Downing.

Firstly GREAT RESULT! Midfeild will be reinforced and a winger expect something tomorrow my source is very very reliable if not I will never post again YNWA p.s Stevie G pure class
Believable26
Unbelievable56
Guess we will see tomorrow how right or how wrong you are by the end of the morrow. Do hope u are right but can't see it happing. One place we need is LB that boy is so poor can't even pass a ball or run pass players.

Bang on with the transfer possibility, I just think that Liverpool need to try and keep transfers in house because of sneaky poaching to mess other teams up! I.e chelsk, spurs, Manchester United I just hope we seal this he looks exciting! Come on look forward to seeing him at the arsenal game. Fingers crossed!
Mignolay, Kelly, skirtle/Agger, sakho/toure, flanno,

hi edo2 with cabaye going to psg would pastore be available now and would we be interesred? also shaqri any thing in that cheers
Believable9
Unbelievable16
{Ed002's Note - It will likely be Matuidi who makes way for Cabaye. If Pastore moves it will be back to Italy - probably with Milan.}
Matuldi up for grabs or nailed on for city?
Agree1

Why don't we sign matuidi?? Young, Talented player, out of contrac t in summer too! Come on he's a top player at CDM

Eds it seems according to reports that our interest in Konoplyanka are growing. You said that we showed interest last summer.are you aware that we have gone in again for him or is it just old news?
Believable10
Unbelievable17
{Ed002's Note - I cannot confirm any interest from Liverpool at this time.}
Think this a deal we should try and do now better player than salah from what I've seen

"Liverpool have entered the race for Atletico Madrid's 'Arda Turan'." That's the latest news, and if it's not true I'm sick of it
Believable18
Unbelievable47
Well he is a Liverpool fan if that counts for anything, lacks pace but very skillfull . But no swap deal with coutinho no way. Coutinho will be worth 40m next year.
Agree0
Disagree1
I heard he was a Liverpool fan, but why hasn't he come yet? Because he obviously wasn't a target. And I don't know why because we need a good experienced winger
Agree1
Disagree0
Our constant link with Arda Turan was like our year on year link with Sergio Aguero back in the day. It's never going to happen.

Talk sport thinks our interest in konoplyanka has increased after missing out on salah? Considering that he's worth between 13-15 mil surely this one is beyond us eds?
Believable26
Unbelievable30
They also said that he is on good money over there. It would come down to football related and not increased wages.
Agree2
Disagree0
Stop being brainwashed this money is not beyond us it just doesn't help our already rubbish ffp attempts
Agree1
Disagree1
13-15 wouldn't be beyond us whatever people think, but the 30 mil Ukrainian clubs demand is well out of any oilless club's finances
Agree1
Disagree0
There getting it from ssn, there transfer guy just said 5mins ago that we are upping our interest in him.
Agree1
Disagree0
So does this mean Ian ayre spends the next 6 months or the next 3 months talking to to reach agreement then come the summer tell them we will only pay a third the agreed value then allow another prem come get him for 2 mil more than we offer?
Agree3
Disagree1
What do the Ed's think?

{Ed002's Note - See previous answers.}
28 Jan 2014 14:39:41
Talk sport saying ince to hold talks with lfc in next 48 hours. I'll vomit into my shoes if we end up with him. We're bottom feeders.
Believable54
Unbelievable49
Winger due to come in but ince is not the one they are after but saying that could be a case of talking to see what he wants and then keep him as fall back plan check my earlier post midfield and winger on way keep the faith YNWA
Agree1
Disagree2
This would be a pretty poor signing and will do nothing but increase the amount of stick the owners and the 'committee' are getting!
Agree2
Disagree1
He is a nob Ed and his old man is driving him round half the prem clubs, clearly doesn't give
A rubbish where he plays it's all about what they can get. Leave him to the mid table teams he is not pool in either his ethos or quality
Agree2
Disagree0
I for one would take ince back in a heartbeat, good end product, young, quick and english what's not to like was a mistake to let him leave in the first place (i know he wanted away) but should have been given chance under br I bet
Agree1
Disagree3
Not even good enough to be a back up plan
Agree1
Disagree2
Let me get this clear then. Ince signs, plays well and scores a few sets up a few. You still hate him then?
He has done really well last two seasons in the championship and if we were are an England U21 winger with his goal record for I guess either a loan then free or £4mil. you’d all be saying great, but cause its Ince who WE sold to Blackpool its no good enough? Have a word.
Agree2
Disagree1
28 Jan 2014 16:11:38
Pls no I don't want him he's person just like his dad. great by the way boys ynwa
Agree0
Disagree1
I don't really think he would add that much, in real talent, but we are looking for a wide man, so that Coutinho can push more central however, so he's probably a decent, cheap fill in and will allow the team to play how Brendan wants.
Agree1
Disagree0
I too would have ince back. Like all our youth they need time to grow. He has done a great job for Blackpool, next step up for him would be to step up and fight for a start at the pool over the next 12 months. As sterling and few others to be eased into team.
Agree1
Disagree0
IF it means the only signing i'd take him. Wud free up Coutinho from the wing and is better than Moses resale value aswell. Scores goals!

Hey Eds, wondering whether Romain Alessandrini from Rennes could be seen as an alternative to Salah? Cheers
Believable5
Unbelievable24
{Ed002's Note - It is not going to happen.}
28 Jan 2014 11:46:57
Eds is there any truth in Agger being involved in any swap deal with Inler or is it a load of rubbish?
Believable13
Unbelievable30
{Ed002's Note - Napoli are interested in Agger still. The rest is very much speculative according to well-respected Naples-based commentator.}
28 Jan 2014 11:57:54
Hi all had this from a very good source FSG are going to surprise us all by backing Rodgers with 2 signings to go through in next 24 hrs or so one will be a big name midfield and winger at last!!
Believable72
Unbelievable103
Hopefully. not a chance by the looks of thinks.
Agree5
Disagree0
How many times have we seen posts like this? The fact of the matter is there is nobody out there at the min who could significantly improve our squad that we could afford so no fsg won't be surprising us with anything we will have to wait till the summer.
Agree6

Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink will be a big enough name for me.
It should just about fit on the back of my shirt.
Agree2
Disagree2
Lets hope its true
Agree3
Disagree0
Yeah we will wait and see as I have heard this for months and we still got no one in yet and our teams not looking any better for top 4 as all the teams around us are winning and buying players that will make there team better like Man U and Chelsea have done.

Yes of course they are,,,,,, after months spent fannying around on the Saleh deal the club will swing into fevered action in the few hours left before the window closes.
Agree1
Disagree0
Got a feeling this is true, don't know why.
I'll guess at Inler (Pepe to stay permanently as part of deal) and Konopylanka (that's a big name).
Agree2
Disagree0
Lets hope they don't surprise him with the footballing equivalent of a pair of socks, like Aspas or Borini, get used a couple of times then put away at the back of a drawer because they're crap presents.

hi Ed's long time fan of the site, first time poster, rumours emerging this morning notably in the express that we're looking at Arda Turan, seems unlikely considering he's just penned a new deal with a 33m release clause. is this just recycling old ribbish or is there anything to it? cheers
Believable18
Unbelievable42
{Ed002's Note - Not that I am aware. Atletico do have an interest in a Lic#verpool player so some sort of deal might be possible - but I wouldn't hold your breath.}
Hi ed2, what player Liverpool player is athletico interested in?

Turan for Coutinho? That sounds like solving 1 problem only it for to cause another 1.
Agree6

Ogh well that's not going to happen then :-)
Agree4
Disagree0
It won't happen no and I rate coutniho and would have rather we grabbed Turan when it seemed like a distinct possibility but I do rate Turan higher, he is world class
Agree2
Disagree1
I actually think that if a deal could be made, we should take it. Yes Coutinho is great when he's on form, but hendo can play the same position and we still have Suso to come back too.
Agree0
Disagree1
To be honest, I'd be a bit annoyed in some ways if we actually did buy Turan now (although I'm almost positive we won't). We could have far, far more easily (and cheaply) gotten him in the summer.
