Don't know how true this is but I've been told Rodolfo Borrell will be leaving in the summer to take up the position of assistant manager to Tito Vilanova at Barcelona.

I was told he isnt leaving

I hope this isn't true mate but I think it could be.

Blair Mayne YNWA JFT96

I wasnt told anything. But now Im confused...

Very much doubt it, him and Segura have a brilliant & important job at Liverpool and will no doubt be promoted to the 1st team soon.

BigD

Kenny 2 take his position?

have it on good word that liverpool fc will bid 12 million for frank ribery. also heard richard dunn will be on way to lfc for 3 million with carragher going into a coaching role for next year.

Get your head out of Fifa 12 mate lol

Yeah that is because dunne is better than carra catch yourself on good word more like bad word.

Franck ribery for 12 millions hmm, dont u think there are loads of club interested in him and will pay better then that

redh0t

12 miliiion what are we loaning him for a month then? an yes he would leave european finalists for liverpool anyway

Are you sure you haven't got confused? Are we not after Frank Dunne and Richard Ribery because that is what you will end up with at those prices my friend.

27 Apr 2012 22:11:47
Kenny wasn't watching Giroud or Sissoko today.

Remy Cabella, remember that name.

Highly unlikely, as Cabella only came on in the 90th minute.

Belhanda or Giroud

27 Apr 2012 22:10:31
Steve Clarke moving to No 1, Kevin Keen to No.2 with Carra taking up some form of minor coaching role with Academy.

No idea whether KD is moving upstairs or just going.

Love it...

Clarke........shoeing.
I'm glad Carragher is giving up his large contract.
Keen No1......correct.
KD staying put.

Worst rumour i have heard for a long time. did give me a chuckle after a long day in work though thanks :)

What would people think if Guardiola went to Chelsea and we moved for Di Matteo. Not saying it will happen but just wondering what peoples reactions would be?

Any Eds Opinions?

I think it would be a decent coup

Cheers

CSE9 {Ed002's Note - Guardiola will be taking some time off.}

Di matteo is having the same effect on chelsea as kenny had with us when he took over.thats it.
galls

Ok, if Chelsea choose not to appoint Di Matteo and we make a move. Thoughts?

Why what has Di Matteo won or proved?? Nothing at all

He ed's, what do you make up Kennys comments today about Aquiliani being welcome back? Can you honestly see him playing for us again? Cheers,
Big T {Ed002's Note - I don't make anything of them to be honest. More perhaps can be made of his comments asking Milan to act responsibly.}

It may also mean that Kenny knows that Aquilani is more quality compared to Spearing, Adam and Hendo. Tell me one thing Ed, if Aqua is lazy why does he have more goals and assists than Adam this season playing for AC....

More assists perhaps because he playing for title challengers an pehaps because assisting pato,robinho,ibrahmovic is easier than assisting carroll,kuyt an suarez,although suarez is great player perhaps he play better as a winger anyway aqua as treated lfc with contemp,hes an absolute disgrace to the shirt an while i dont rate spearo would rather have him in team anyday-some people just dont deserve to wear the shirt no matter how good the are

Don't know if this has been spoken about before because I haven't been on for a while. I've heard h maxi and kuyt have both rejected new deals and leaving in the summer, we will have between 30-40 million to spend on players, we wont be moving to a new ground and were redeveloping anfield, hoylett (sorry on spelling) is pretty much nailed on signing, Kenny is leaving in summer, don't know who he getting replaced by but been told carragher is rumoured to have some sort of role. As same as every other thing on here it's just a rumour so might just be utter crap but just thought I'd share the news.

LFC Craig

P.s for the unlucky fans, there opening the kop for final with a massive screen showing the game so keep an eye out for the tickets going on sale because they will sell out quick!

So what your saying is that kenny is leaving but he is still making signings for the club, you would think the new manager might want to decide who the signings would be himself.

Rafaël BENITEZ to be D.O.F,
Unaï EMERY to be the manager...
Y.N.W.A
cheers

Weren't you just posting this a couple of minutes ago. It's just that you posted "Rafaël BENITEZ" in the same manner in both posts? I just wish I had another house to put on this. Now I feel sad :.(

There could be something in this one ..

There's nothing in this one. Rafa's biggest problem was accumulating too many useless players. A great coach but a poor DOF.

Emery as Manager is a good choice.

Through the Storm

More chance od Dick Emery as manager (nods to the 'older' posters)

Ooooh,you are awful,........but i like you

So far 2109 chairmen have signed a declarlation that they will pay LFC cash to take Rafa so that their clubs are not linked to him.

27 Apr 2012 21:40:19
hi ed's could you clear this up for me please as am not sure,

Has guardiola (spelling) left the Barca imediatly or is he giving it till the end of the season? Any help much apreciated.

P.S Loving the site :) Keep up the good work! {Ed002's Note - At the end of the season.}

27 Apr 2012 21:35:39
Hi Eds,
i really appreciate this decent work you're doing on here.
Got a short list of manager and DOF job favorite.
MANAGER:
Unaï EMERY,Pep GUARDIOLA and Rafaël BENITEZ.
DOF:
Txiki Begeristain,Rafaël BENITEZ and David DEAN.
>As yo can see,there is a good chance of Rafa comming back.
Unaï EMERY as manager.
Rafa as D.O.F

Must be true because you've said so. I'm off down to Ladbrokes to put my house on it. Thanks.

Would be good to have rafa back please let it happen

27 Apr 2012 20:24:12
Sebastian Coates will be allowed go on loan this year.

KD thinks he may not be good enough...

He's better than Carragher

Dalglish would never go against Carragher would he?

Don't worry,we'll buy Wes Morgan so Carraghers wife will be able to talk to an English woman... Not a foreign girl

Why the caragher bashing? guys a fkin hero, if he aint playing well fair enough, no problem wit you sayin that, but at least be respectful of him. same with kenny, if you think hes wrong for the job then voice your opinion - fine, but both these guys deserve respect from us, not insulting. were liverpool ffs, were meant to be better than turning on our own.

eds please post this. i really think it needs to be said.

Sh""te !! B

Lmao. We are talking about a guy who has won the Young Player of Through Tournament at Copa America. Coates is a guaranteed star for the future. I feel he mahogany even be better than Jones...

27 Apr 2012 20:21:02
Rafa s on his way back with king Kenny moving upstairs 100% true not had a sniff of info in two years but believe this to be true

Sign your post so we can all praise you when your right! Unless its untrue (which it is)

Square tomato

Unless your name is Marty McFly and are in possession of a deLorean I can't see us travelling back in time anytime soon

That would be two men in charge that love the club and the fans and hate fergie as much as me perfect.

There will be no fat Spanish waiter at Anfield next season. FACT!

27 Apr 2012 20:20:48
Hey, was just reading a newspaper, maybe the mirror, where it says kuyt can be sold for £1mil to a overseas club? is this true? {Ed022's Note - Utter lies.}

27 Apr 2012 20:11:51
Hi Ed02, I posted the other week after the FA cup semi's would you take the CL trophy if we won the FA Cup, I hope we are both happy come mid May mate.
Right I don't often get info but I have some from a source very close to an ex LFC legend. Kenny will step aside and we have already been snubbed by several managerial targets (don't know who). Pep G is amongst our preferences however I'm sceptical personally as he seems to be a man of the utmost integrity so if he says he wants a year out to recharge then I can't see him changing that to take over at Anfield in the timescales we'd require should Kenny leave the role after next week.
Anyway it's all I have and personally I'd rather Kenny stayed for one more year if he wanted to of course. I get the impression that the last 5 months have not been good for the great man's health and that should always come first.
All the best King Kenny whatever happens in the next two weeks, you'll always be up there with Shanks and Bob Paisley for me, only ever player manager to do the double.......LEGEND is the only word to describe Kenneth Mathieson Dalglish....Long Live the KING!!
ALB.

So all and all u literally know sweet f.a and just have an opinion. dweeb
bulford-widnes ozy

You should'nt listen to Phil Neal.

Hes right about kenny

Only passing on what I'm told that KK will move aside. It was not Phil Neal (nice try) and as for knowing sweet f.a. and being a "dweeb".... well my oddly named friend if people didn't post what would be the point of this site.
If the Ed cares to email me then I'll reveal my source in confidence to the Eds for them to verify to doubters like you....unless of course you wish to correct me with your own fantastic insider knowledge???
No?......thought not.
ALB

Thanks to the poster who said I was correct about Kenny (whoever you are)

Okay guys, I don't often come on here with actual rumours because I don't rarely get any but last night I got some very intriguing information. Now, before I tell you it I want to ensure you that this may not be true, this may not be accurate and this may not happen. In no way shape or form am I trying to say that this will happen and I am in no way shape or form trying to imply that the rumour is correct but the rumour that I have been told is that Rodolfo Borrell wants to go back to Spain. I don't know if it is for management or for youth management but it is the information I got told. Don't shoot me if this is wrong, I am just giving out a rumour I got told.

BthekingB

This is interesting . . . . Don't know if true, but apparently Borrell and Guardiola are not the best of friends? Hmmm

27 Apr 2012 20:07:28
Do you know if we're interested in Younes Belhanda and/or Olivier Giroud? {Ed022's Note - Giroud is unconfirmed interest, Belhanda I'm not aware of any interest shown by Liverpool.}

Please no!i m french and i can confirm that this players are not good enough for us!giroud remember me gignac,2 good season and nothing!our league is poor,please no

Yes we are interested in both players. In fact I have been informed that King Kenny is at the game against Montpellier tonight. Surprised a liverpool rumour page didnt know that already. {Ed022's Note - It's not like it's been posted 4000 times already. Don't be such a muppet.}

27 Apr 2012 20:02:49
Kenny Daglish was at tonights Ligue 1 match Toulouse - Montpellier. What do think eds? Sissoko, belhanda or girud? {Ed022's Note - In all honesty, it'd most likely be Sissoko at of the three names you've given.}

Lots of possibles at tonight's game - Abdennour, Yanga-Mbiwa, Tabanou, Sissoko, Capoue, Belhanda, Giroud....

Maybe he's applying for a job...
galls

Really hope its sissoko he's bo!

Just reporting what i heard.
Y.N.W.A
cheers...

Not gonna happen, carroll wont go on loan, and if anything spero will most likely be sold not loaned {Ed022's Note - Spearing will more likely be loaned.}

Dude you have obviously been playing fifa/football manager too long. why would liverpool sign players like milan badelj and sime vrsaljko no matter how good they are in the game. so dont waste time.fool

Ridiculous how people just collect everything that has been said over the past few weeks, compile it into an absurd list, and claim they have been "told" these things.

27 Apr 2012 18:17:51
Hello Eds,
possible that Steven G. will not be a part of LFC next season? thanks for your hard work. {Ed022's Note - Very doubtful mate.}

Very doubtful that he will be leaving or very doubtful that he will stay? {Ed002's Note - Doubtful that he will leave.}

27 Apr 2012 18:28:51
Macca I know this is probably a little selfish but is there any other players you know of except Munian and soldado

Is susealta a target?

Thanks

27 Apr 2012 17:06:30
Hi Eds,

Now pardon my ignorance, I know you've said we should sign Matt Philips of Blackpool, but is the lad any good?

Rebel_Red {Ed002's Note - I suspect that Ed001 said this and, I am guessing, that he thinks he is.}

Another average player to fit in with our other average players. RedTurk

Yeah good winger likes get chalk on his boots and cut inside aswell

Well tom ince is doing better than him and we sold him. i would be annoyed if we signed a player of his championship quality

RedTurk would shag Jessica Alba and moan that it wasn't Beyonce. He'd win the lottery and moan that interest rates are too low. We'd win the league and he'd moan that it wasn't the champions league.

Kieran.

Whats your opinion on him ed002?

Killerpool {Ed022's Note - I'm afraid Ed002 is not here at the moment due to some vaginal issues with her penis, but luckily enough I've actually profiled Phillips for you over on the other site, so feel free to have a look mate, it's got an evaluation of him with statistics etc etc.}

Heard from Blackpool supporter that Phillips is not as good as Tom Ince that we sold last year!

27 Apr 2012 16:00:20
Hi eds, apparently Aquilani will be kept on next term if Milan bail out, and he could be joined by Hernanes, Iker Muniain Maurico Isla, Cristian Tello and Juan Manuel Vargas. Plus Adam Johnson if he fancies it,

Dreaming? Aquilani maybe, but Another CM in Hernanes, 4 wingers maybe 5?

Total rubbish.Aquilani will only be at LFC if we can't unload him and as for the others, might get one at best.

You don't have a degree in maths do you sunshine ! Just a shed full of dreams !

Aquilani will be back at liverpool but you can forget about the others...no chance

It annoys the heck fire out of me. Unless one has their head placed very far and firmly up the rear end of a four legged critter, they should know that the 'Euro Zone' is half way zipped up in a body bag in the back of an Ambulance.

Italian clubs are feeling the restrictions of being able to spend money on 'transfers' more than most other European footballing countries, and instead they're facing facts about having to facilitate their endless black holes of debt.

That being typed, Aquilani should never have been allowed a second full season on loan with a trigger to buy, after a certain number of games have featured Aquilani.

We got screwed by Juventus who took Pirlo on a free instead of Aquilani (fool me once). Now we have been shin kicked by A.C Milan who have opted to take Montolivio on a free (fool me twice).

I don't care about the player's desire to stay in Italy, or lack of desire to play in England. Liverpool can't buy an International player of Aquilani's quality for £6 million, so why sell one?

Hindsight maybe, but i would have insisted that Milan pay half the money upfront and the rest at the end of the season, to ensure that the ''Juventus-Pirlo situation'' wouldn't be a re-occurrence, as we know now it has done with Montolivio going to A.C Milan.

It reminds me of when Everton took Manuel Fernandes on loan from Valencia a few seasons back, with a trigger after 25 Prem games.

Everton didn't have the £10 million to buy Fernandes, but Valencia trusted them, Fernandes only played 24 league games, Everton didn't buy him, but Everton tried to take him on loan again. {Ed022's Note - We can't buy a player of Aquilani's quality for 6 million? You're right, we can buy better. Aqua is a lazy, whiney little child who does nothing but depress clubs with his appauling attitude to the game. It's fact, and the fact this issue is dealt with so relentlessly is absolutely ridiculous. He's unloyal, has no interest in Liverpool and never will do.}

Hardly apparent

Take this with a pinch of salt but 2 months ago I was told LFC would be looking at bringing in a new manager as KK was going to step down. I was told that they wanted someone IN THE MOULD of pep guradiola. A younger manager who would bring through the youth.

After hearing around a week ago that Pep was leaving Barca I did some digging, and was told we are going to make a move for PEP himself if he was to leave. I was told this by a source who is hit and miss, so I then contacting another one of my sources, he is reliable 100% of the time but rarely gets or gives ut info as he doesnt like to put stuff out there that is not certain. He told me he heard whispers but nothing more so it was more than likely rubbish but would look into it for me.

He phoned me this morning as has told me that John Henry has contacted Pep and has asked if he would be interested in taking over. Pep has told him he is very interested as he likes our academy, and wants the challenge of taking LFC back to the top. However, he wants to take time off so could not committ. Henry has told him to think about it till the end of the season, and tell us then. My contact told me that we are willing to make the 2nd highest paid manager behind only Jose at Madrid, and are willing to give him around 50M in transfer funds plus sales.

Like I said, take this with a pinch of salt, but when this source tells me stuff it usually works out. He told me 5 bits of info in the last 18 months. One was Torres out, the 2nd was Carroll in, the third was Henderson in, the fourth was that we would not get Phil Jones as he was going to Utd, and the fifth was that Commolli was being fired.

Macca have you heard anything of this? If not , I advise you to look into this. 50/50 right now but I fully expect Pep to take over this summer.

We can only wish...

Ed, Is he right he got Commolli's exit right even before it was announced? Cos I think no one saw that coming. I mean no one, including the eds and macca
Wales {Ed002's Note - Of course not.}

2+2=?

I'm sure several clubs are after pep but he's publically admitted he needs some time off! How any football club can believe he will be in management next season is dreaming

A pinch of salt?...more like a shoveful of sh*t...no offense but you are full of it lol

Seems like a well constructed case...something of a rarity on here...lets be honest it could quite easily happen...will borell and the other chap we already have a spanish infrastructure get Txiki in too we are there.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing! a complete pile of tosh

No-one saw the Comolli firing, no-one saw the Carroll purchase, no-one saw LeBron buying a stake in the club. Anything is possible and no-one will see it coming.

If you are in the know about LFC matters why haven't you signed your post?

Gaz1975.

I wondered how long it would take before this or something like it was posted, lets face it pep aint coming now or in the future, a year off, just give fergie time to retire, ready made replacement. HE WILL NOT BECOME LIVERPOOL MANAGER

Too bad we don't know who you are :/

YoungRed

No-one saw...
If you guess/foresee/see Pep might come, then, it is not "no-one saw" anymore.
With that logic, Pep will NEVER come this summer cuz you already say he MIGHT come.

A pinch of salt at least u even know yourself your talking bs

50/50 but he full expects pep to take over.
you need help with fractions mate..

I've been climbing this hiil for two days now and strangely it tastes of sodium.

Some absolute classics on here ! Don't know who needs more help, the fantasy football posters with their intriguing contacts, or the thickheads believing they are plausible!? Haha! Roll on July!

Nope pep will be going to another huge club in Italy

If you knew about Commoli why didn't you come on here and tell everyone? No-one mentioned anything about Commoli until Liverpool revealed he was sacked. I sense the BS is strong in this one.

Ok take it from another clubs point! I'm not hear to mock but to make a point? harry is almost certainly off to england at the seasons close! around a month or two before cappelo's resignation daniel levy had jetted out to spain a couple of times! since then (the resignation) hes jetted out a further four times! Levy & guardiola have a mutuel friend! Its the same guy who helped with the ramos interviews! now I'm not saying were getting guardiola? But strange levy's destination was always barcelona?? now you may say we dont have the backing? Joe lewis is close to being back in the three billion bracket, another on the spurs board who was part of watford before vomiting fully to spurs is weighed down to the tune of around 1.8 billion, also theirs the constant talk from spurs trust that AEG are or will becoming involved with the club ( no takeover as yet) so they are quite substantially backed, but like I said it could be hear say? I dont think he will come to spurs? Z but levy has certainly been to barcelona!!

Firstly, why would Pep leave arguably one of the greatest teams of all time to manage liverpool ? Secondly, why would he lie to the Barca supporters by saying he is drained and needs a break from footbally only to turn around and manage another club ? Would that not be giving Barca the two fingers. All in all your story has no foundation and makes no sense whatsoever

Pure fantasy. Pep said today, I would never have spoken or met any owner/rep of any other club out of respect for Barca... So he's happily about to pi** off the whole of Barca now is he?

Lmao, why wouldst Pep leave Barca to join Liverpool. You do know that Pep has a brain that thinks along te lines "i need Aaron fresh challenge". He wants to do what Mourinho has been doing, moving round through world beating all challenges on the way....

I posted after you that I'd heard a similar rumour from an excellent source but I personally had my doubts.
Just read this and it does make sense now with what I've been told.
ALB.

I agree with the other replies - Most people in LFC would not have known about Carroll and Commoli until the repsective entry/exits were announced. A pity this is a pile of salty sh*#e. I could imagine John Henry laying down a large offer to a high profile Manager if Moneyball is anything to go by :)

27 Apr 2012 15:24:53
Ed what do you think about capello taking lfc job.He said he wants an premier league job. {Ed002's Note - I think it doubtful.}

I would hate to have Capello in charge....I think we should stick with Kenny and only replace him if we can get pep guardiola otherwise its pointless replacing him

Killerpool

No thanks!

Adam

Bloody hope not

He said he likes london let spurs r chelski have him we will keep kenny r bring rafa back with kenny taking on DOF role

Capello and Blanc are our best options! Capello has won everything as a club manager.

27 Apr 2012 14:59:54
Ed is kenny was to go , do you think luis enrique could be a possible option? Roma are owned by someone from fsg {Ed002's Note - I very much doubt it.}

27 Apr 2012 14:49:31
it might not be true but its just my opinion. if liverpool are also walking in the footsteps of barca then after kk stepping aside our new coach will be rodolfo borrell from the reserve team. he has gone through the barca youth system and fsg will surely give him an opportunity. i am sure we wont be looking for a new staff but him. kk will surely step aside and if rodolfo borrell becomes a new manager then i think young players from the league will get chances in the first team. hope liverpool does well under him. cheers

redh0t

Do our own fans not even realise that barca are copying us?

Dodge

What's the point of having continuity in the youth system if at the first sign of success you start "promoting" people out of it.
Bizarre.

27 Apr 2012 14:49:03
eds if you could let me no whether Liverpool are getting Fernando llorente or whether man city are getting him that would be amazing cheers plus he would be a wonderful striker instead of caroll {Ed002's Note - Fernando Llorente is interesting Spurs, PSG and Manchester City. Barcelona are considering their future options which may involve a move for the player.}

27 Apr 2012 13:52:11
With a very lucky January i think considering kenny's ability to talk to the press and his strange decisions as manager he would be more suited out of the limelight not making too many decisions with the team, maybe steve clarke's role (i have nothing against Steve), as he has a good relationship with the players and is loved by most REAL fans at LFC.

Although i hate to say it, alot of people on here make a good point about Rafa. He did pick up some very good players, some of which we still use today so maybe the DOF role?

And finally Guardiola as Manager to bring the winning tactics and style of play. I believe all 3 of these people would benefit liverpool. Kenny is already at the club and Rafa who still loves the club im sure would come back if asked. Its just securing Guardiola that would be the tough part.

As unlikely as it is, would this be an ideal change to the management at liverpool or am i waffling rubbish Eds?

Josh LFC {Ed002's Note - I would not expect Guardiola to be taking the Liverpool manager's role this summer.}

Rafa is a manager not a DOF , he wouldnt be able to not interfere with team selection etc

Guadiola wants to take a break, rafa is a manager and steve clarke is a great assistant. kenny out is the only correct thing you have said.
the wise one

Didnt rafa bring us aqualani excellent purchase for lfc .
NOT..
cheers mal ..

Rafa brought us torres alonso reina so not to bad

Aquilani has impressed me more than Charlie Adam has in all truth!!. Adam can't even hit a dead ball right...

Right now until end of the season the realistic target would be to bring back Rafa. Pep Guardiola would be a coup if we can get him. What about AVB? He didn't do too well at Chelsea but he could be a success here if given a chance. By the look of things at Liverpool lately, Kenny should graciously step down. It is obvious we are not making any progress even if we were to win the FA cup What the club needs now is to win the elusive title and make a presence in Europe.

27 Apr 2012 14:22:34
Everyone keeps talking about changing managers, do you watch us at all? Majority of the time it is just failure in front of goal. Get some flair and clinical finishers in there and we will be sound. Loic remy a option ed? Thanks mate {Ed002's Note - There have been no approaches to Marseille regarding Loic Remy from Liverpool but in January a third party (an agent) suggested to Marseille that there was interest from Spurs and some sort of exchange for Pavlyuchenko was proposed which was immediately dismissed. Spurs went in to discuss options for buying the player outright and Marseille said he was not for sale but they could return with a bid in the summer. Remy would perhaps be interested in a move to a leading side in the summer but Marseille have no interest in selling unless a very good offer is made.}

Just failure in front of goal?goals are rather important,without them an you end up oh lets say lower than any lfc fan can remember,i guessing anyone old enough to remember lower would be senile by now :-)

If it was just a matter of getting a player or 2 with "flair" and a good finisher why do we bother with a high profile manager. If it was as easy as that Mickey Mouse could do the job.

There's a problem.
we don't score enough goals.
I can see it.
Most other fans can see it.
Why do a lot of "fans" think that Kenny Dalglish a highly decorated trophy winning manager can't see it.
He deserves the opportunity to correct problems.
Although i hope everyone doesn't start crying if the solution proves to be a mixture of new coaching philosphy and attacking midfielders rather than a phalanx of expensive new strikers.

My point was at this very moment in time I don't think the manager is the problem. Blame the seriously under performing players. We create thousands of chances an dominate possession what we haven't done well for a while. But we need that killer instinct.

I wasn't really having a pop you mate,it's just i'm growing frustrated with people who seem think the local village person is our manager.
If your a Liverpool fan the dream is for the manager to make the right decisions .
Kenny's sole aim is to build a new dynasty at Liverpool,he's committed in a way many managers would'nt be and to throw him out on the basis of one poor league campaign is shortsighted.
As a club we have become addicted to drama and short term fixes,we need a period of cold turkey which will require patience.
FSG have hired and fired a commercial director and a DoF in the last year proving the manager is not the only one making errors.
We need to settle down get a consistent direction of travel and we will compete again.
We are in danger of becoming unmanageable.

If Kenny steps down the names I've heard will definitely disappoint some of you.

Chris Hughton
Gus Poyet

No disrespect to the above names but I doubt it indeed. FSG haven't purchased our club to fail and we will have a very high profile manager if and when The King moves upstairs.
Owen

And who are you ?? you spud. man utd man city spurs and chelsea along with arsenal would love that . it will never happen .

Dont think so sunshine, think the voices in your head have taken over

Haha don't bite to idiots

I can't see them appointing either of those people. There would be uproar!

Your living in cookoo land haha wake up from your dream.

Both have shown themselves to be architects of teams that play excellent football (bear in mind Hughton's first job was getting Newcastle promoted and laying the foundations for their success this season) but they would lack the pop that most fans are looking for in the life after KK.

Did you hear this in your school playground?

It needs to be said again ... who are you FFS?

If pep did come to Liverpool for next season it would be a massive coup. All the framework seems to be in place, almost too perfect. Imagine the calibre of player we would attract with him in charge.

MIKEY

Very unlikely he can't say what he is saying then join another team directly!
Slim chance of Kenny getting another season to get the league challenge going and guardiola the season after maybe? still not sure he is a premiership manager but would happily give him the chance to prove me wrong
TSB

Not gonna happen

Pep will end up at Chelsea I think.

I'm not saying it will happen but it seems a lot of our fans will be setting themselves up for disappointment. I'm a big kenny fan and would like to give him more time as well but it's starting to look unlikely now.
Just saying our management structure is very close to barcelonas, we have an academy not a million miles away from there's, apparently he wants to manage in the premier league, Chelsea would be fools not to give the job to demateo. I can't see him going to united If fergie goes as he is used to working under a dof. It would be a lot easier for him and perhaps give him a challenge again after being completely dominant with barca to move to liverpool.
Stranger things have happened, watch him move to spurs now haha

MIKEY

Careful what you wish for

Squirrel

He is having a break from football !!

The idea is to mine the youth set-up, not make big purchases.

At last we can put this silly runour to bed. He always said that if he left it would be to take a year away from football.

Yeah, we could sign messi!!!

Get real! The point of having an academy and investing in it the way we do, is to bring through the youngsters. We now have the best crop we've had for many a year. You havn't read the script!
It is not to bring in a big name Manager to attract big name players and bankrupt the club with mercenaries. :(

Just my opinion but would like to Di Matteo stay at Stanford Bridge and a guy like Pep mix things up at Liverpool.

Opinions?

Hi Edds
Could you answer me a little question please...
What is Aquilani's problem with LFC? Does he not want to play for us? Or just not in England?
I think he started to show what he could do nearing the end of his first season here, big mistake letting him go on loan
Cheers {Ed002's Note - This has been covered over and over again. Try the search function please.}

I still stand by my view that Aquilani does indeed want to play for Liverpool as he thinks that they are the best club for him at his prime years. It is just that he was finding it hard to find his feet hence made the dire decision to say that England was not favourable. That coupled with KK and RH madness of not even trying to atleast have a go at trying to convince him that he just needs a fine good half season to settle in, has been what has lead to him being shipped out on loans. I believe he will be a LFC player next season and is likely to be massively involved as he now knows that even your own country clubs might not accept you. I feel that next season he will be the ideal short term successor to Steven Gerrard(not on the physical side though i.e. tackling and budging lol).

27 Apr 2012 12:55:22
Ed, can you help me out here because I must be missing something. Barca have a magnificent stadium and training facilities, they are been touted as possibly the greatest side ever, and Messi may end his career as the best ever. Most players in the world would love to sign for them, and there youth system has now been in place long enough that it is consistantly turning out world beaters.
We on the other hand still have no news on a new stadium (a decade nearly now), we are in a transitional period as far as the team is concerned, looking mid table. We are rapidly developing the acadamy but as results in the next gen showed still have some way to go. We have no CL and probably dont have unlimmited finances to attract the very best players. No matter how many times the owners and manager state this is a long term project so called fans call for his head within his first season.
So why would Pep leave there for us? is it the weather?
RNred
ps. surprised nobody has mentioned the fact Rafa brought the acadamy staff in and he has gone, are we that confident theres not more chance of them going back to Barca than Pep to us? {Ed002's Note - What makes you think Guardiola has left Barcelona for Liverpool?}

Thats exactly my point Ed, I dont. I thought I must be missing something due to how many people on here seem to think he has?
RNred

I don't think the writer is aware that Pep has left Barca.

I cannot see Pep coming to us if he is supposed to be having a break

You need to dig a little deeper into Barca's finances. We are actually in better shape.

You also need to consider what is going to happen in Spain in the next couple of years. Here's a clue: "Greece"

Perhaps it is just the fact that the guy is burnt. To be the manager of a top club is a stressful job which probably has a great impact on your family life. I don't know if Pep has kids, but I suspect he wants to put his personal life first. Also, he has won every trophy available in record time. There's more than just football to life.

Canadian Fan

Perhaps he's achieved all he can at Barca and wants a fresh challenge? Diubt it'll be us though. Would be nice if it was mind!

Fully aware he's left Barca, would he be under any less stress at us, and are there other financialy better off clubs available to him than us?
The Ed's are been very diplomatic today, saying they dont see him at Liverpool next season.
RNred

You see ED and fellow friends, Pep is not simply motivated by money or he would have quit before the season even began and joined a team offering money ala Chelsea or City(least likely as Mancini had done some hard spending hence deserved to be there). What he really wants as some have mentioned is a fresh challenge. Put simple, he may be trying to epitomise what Mourinho has done like winnning CL with two different clubs etc etc. I do not see why people think it is very highly unlikely that he cant join us. Just because we dont get as much transfer kitty money as Chelsea doesnt make us a lower club. It just gives the manager that extra challenge to use what he is given. Though i hated Hicks and Gillet, Rafa(like all spanish managers so to say) bought in players with a budget not even comparable to Real Madrids, Barca's Man City(present), Man Utd etc.. Im sure Guardiola has us high up the list.

Btw Ed 02, since your a Chelsea fan, would you not say that Di Matteo will remain Chelsea manager if they do win the CL. I mean he will have done what Mourinho couldnt do with basically the same spine of players. I feel that would make Mourinho look stupid knowing that he had the same players as Di Matteo has yet his tactics fell short to Di Matteo's in terms of Chelsea.... {Ed022's Note - Unfortunately Ed002 is unavailable, but I will answer for her. 'No decision will be made on the managerial position until the end of the season, but winning the Champions League would do Di Matteo no harm at all.'}

27 Apr 2012 12:40:42
hey!
I'm just asking if there was ever any interest in Bale? :)

{Ed002's Note - I don't recall or have any notes of any interest.}

Didn't Rafa have an interest after Bale's first few seasons at Tottenham?

He was due to sign but this got lost at board level. Another brilliant move from our leaders

I thought Rafa had the chance to sign him but decided against it? But to be fair he was no where near the player he is today.

I ve Heard these are possible targets

Kompany- Man City
Maicon-Inter milan
Sneijder-Inter milan
RVP -Arsenal
Cavani -Napoli
Vorm- Swansea
Fabianski-Arsenal
Keita -Barca

{Ed002's Note - Who for?}

Football Manager 2012...

Richards

.......no, you're crazy

I wish my fellow reds would come back down to earth!... The players on this list are way above our current level! We are not the force were once were, and KK is in process of re building the squad, but that will take time. The new players brought in last season need to time to adjust and hopefully fill come good for us!

I agree that we need more up front to but the ball in the net, but count how many times we hit the woodwork and missed oens this season and convert them into points, and we would be doing fine! Luc DeJong plus a mid field passer is what we need!

Keep the faith.....

Why not add Messi and Ronaldo to that list as well.

Kompany is the only one we have a remote chance of signing from that list.

What a halfwit. and i would love to have lucasz flappyhandski in goal

City already have kompany. why would he be on their target list

Haha this has just made my day

Worm and Fabianski? Interesting....maybe we'll play 2 keepers next season and that'll keep the goals against column a little bit lower.

This is clearly a joke right

Probobly Chelsea or Real madrid

Sorry to keep pestering Ed but if you re- post this,promise wont ask again.Mate who sits infront've me Lower cetenuary aint got Ticket for Cup Final(Thank God,i have.He aint got a P.C so im posting for him)Hes desperate to go,as those who sit around him got tickets also.If anyone has one to sell,he'd be delighted to take off there hands.His name is Culley,and Ed002 has his phone number if you can help. Thanks everyone,particularily Ed.I thought he was gona cry the other day lol

There was tout selling tickets on wembley way for the semi against everton (face value) Panicking to get rid just before kick off. I would think it will be same dor the final beter off just travelling down and hope to get 1 other than pay anywhere beetween £500-£1000

Smaller allocations,it's a final,greater demand.
You might get lucky on the day but i doubt it.I would advise you if you go down anyway to research the local pubs as some around wembley are crap.

Many people want to go to the game and cant, he should count himself lucky to make games regularly in the first place, i barely get to see two games a season without paying well over the odds

hi eds

you said 3-4 days ago that u believe that lavezzi will remain in napoli...but today you say that ramirez will replace lavezzi at napoli? where is lavezzi going? {Ed002's Note - I don't know which Ed said he would stay in Napoli but there is a every chance that Lavezzi will leave in the summer. Napoli have already held discussion with Bologna about Ramirez as one option. There is confirmed interest in Lavezzi from a number of clubs but it is not known where he will eventually end up.}

Sorry for copying and pasting but I do believe it was yourself ed002 who indicated Lavezzi may well remain in Napoli.

15 Mar 2012 22:25:54
{Ed002's Note - I doubt it. There is interest in Levezzi from several clubs including Manchester City, Juventus, Zenit and PSG. I think it would take a very high bid to get Napoli to consider selling the player and I think the player himself is happy where he is right now.}

Sam Adzii jft96

I think what I said in March is rather far from me saying that I "believe that lavezzi will remain in Napoli". I gave a statement of fact and for some reason you are twisting it to suit your own desires. There remains interest in Levezzi from several clubs including Manchester City, Chelsea, Juventus, Zenit, PSG and particularly AC Milan. As I have said previously, I think it would take a very high offer - more than 30M euros, some trading or a third-party ownership deal bid to get Napoli to sell the player who he is unwilling to extend his existing contract which runs to 2015 - although I understand that he does remain happy at the club. Napoli are making provisions for him leaving and it is very much expected that he will.}

Ed002 I have absolutely no desire to twist anything the editors say. Infact, Im one of the first to stick up for you when various cretins/gilfnards as you'd say show lack of respect for the effort you put into the site and attack your views. All I'm saying is it may have been perceived in your previous comments that  Lavezzi was going to remain where he is. It's not a case of myself trying to cause offence, I just simply recall you saying this.

Sam Adzii jft96 {Ed002's Note - No problem but I think the posts are perfectly clear and at no point did I say that I believe he will stay at Napoli. In fact I am pretty certain that he will be moving in the summer.}

great website guys. i noticed that one of the eds said that if we lose the fa cup next week against chelsea (hopefully not), it would give us a benefit. please explain what it is and why?. also any news on the new lfc kit?. thank u. {Ed002's Note - What was said was that if Chelsea win the FA Cup and qualify for the Champions League by winning it or by league position, then Liverpool will go straight in to the group stages of Europa League and avoid two qualifying rounds (four games) and an early start to the season - as they would if they won the FA Cup.}

Eds didn't say that! What they said was if Chelsea win the Champions League, that will benefit us!! Use your brain, how would Chelsea winning the FA cup benefit us?? Its better if we win you doughnut!

Killerpool {Ed002's Note - The point is that if Chelsea qualify for the Champions League it will still benefit Liverpool if Liverpool fail to win the FA Cup.}

Our destiny shouldn't be dependent on Chelsea's success. We should just go out there and win that FA cup for Dalglish!!

Eds what would happen if we won the FA cup and chelsea finish 6th , would the qualify for the europa league ? {Ed002's Note - Yes.}

27 Apr 2012 11:06:36
i know my names not macca but this is what i've heard is going to happen in the summer,all values are in euros,
reina - malaga 20m
lloris - from lyon to replace 14m
suarez - palermo or malaga 35m
soldado - 23m
jackson martinez - 9m
tello - free
and maybe javi martinez - 35m depending on man citys interest as we don't want to get involved in a bidding war.
paul d

Tello for free? His contract doesn't run out until 2013. Tiny potential for bringing him in on loan perhaps, but even that is remote.

Why sell suarez and not andy carrol , is andy carrol better than suarez , it makes no sense to sell a better player and keep a donkey

The club would sell suarez because he's more of a sellable asset than carroll.
paul d

27 Apr 2012 10:41:24
what's your opinion on aquilani's future? {Ed002's Note - One way or another he will leave this summer.}

You never know mate, Aquilani may have said he didnt like England at that time, but after twice being rejected by clubs from his home. I think he has a point to prove to them, that is if he thinks that way. Here is to hoping he does so as on his day, his creativity and passing is on par with the Modric's, Wilshere's etc... {Ed022's Note - Not anymore, seen as though he's damn right lazy and struggles to motivate himself to even train.}

27 Apr 2012 10:33:55
Eds Balague has stated guardiola wants to come and prove him self as manager in the premier league ? Do you think there's a good chance of him joining us ? {Ed002's Note - I think it unlikely.}

27 Apr 2012 10:00:43
Hey Ed's i just read an report stating chelsea want to get Txiki Begiristain as director of football to help them get Pep Guardiola at chelsea , do we have a chance of getting him in as director of football? because if we let him pass and chelsea get him than seriously we are falling back from chelsea and the rest by light years , he is the man in my opinion to get liverpool back to the top.

The evidence is there just look at barca , liverpool must be a tasty project for people like Txiki Begiristain and Pep Guardiola , we are a global brand , big club with rich history and the best fans any football club could have surely they would at least think about joining liverpool.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2135718/Pep-Guardiola-set-leave-Barcelona.html {Ed002's Note - Chelsea have been interested in Begiristain for a couple of years, this is nothing new.}

What is this nonsense? "We are a global brand"?

I thought we were a football club.
And as for whether we're an "interesting project", well if its sell to buy ( as its been) we won't even attract a Brendan Rogers type, let alone a Barcelona type.

I have a feeling Pep will end up at Chelsea, Man City or maybe even Man Utd (when Old Whisky Nose calls it a day) in the future. At present Liverpool just cannot compete with those three clubs financially.

Money talks. Other clubs would give him huge money and a massive transfer kitty for quality signings. Something we won't.

Chelsea is a very high pressure job, after quiting barca due to the massive pressure and weight of expectation, why would he throw himself into the same situation again? Liverpool is a smaller long term project, less expectation, good global brand, great owners willing to spend, high spanish contingent amongst players and staff....the question is why wouldn't he consider liverpool?

27 Apr 2012 09:56:50
christano ronaldo go to liverpool for 60milion

Come on EDs how come you post this and some decent ones are in Dodgy rumors haha no worries anyway {Ed002's Note - How is it different to the Cavani posts?}

Yep can definitely see this one happening, nice to see some realistic rumours for a change!

Well Cavani is not in the same class at Ronaldo nor did he cost 80m last time he transferred..and I am not saying he will come but at least due to him being at Napoli us having a few Uruguyans and also because Falcao Joined Athletico without even CL last season, wages will do be as huge either there is people can at least dream...but Ronaldo

As much I agree it won't have. Real Madrid recouped the transfer fee on ronaldo from shirt sales in just over 9 months. From a strictly business view (the way our owners work) he would improve the team, plus increase exposure of club and possible sponsorships)

Devils Advocate

{Ed002's Note - I think you may have been misled about the Ronaldo shirt sales. Additionally, Liverpool will not get paid for shirts sold.}

No point in discussing the matter, ronaldo is just as likely to join oldham than he is liverpool {Ed002's Note - Oldham are not interested apparently.}

Congratulations , you have just posted the most ridiculous claim ever on this site.
CR

I think he meant the fat Ronaldo and 60million would be a bargain!!

I cant work out whether the 10 "agrees" are from people who liked the joke or are there actually 10 people who think this could happen? {Ed022's Note - Who knows mate.}

Thats too cheap try 160m

27 people put believable.... 27 divs

Then i guess we will also be interested in messi {Ed023's Note - He said he will come if Pep takes over}

27 Apr 2012 09:45:44
hi ED'S.

can any of you verify gooners having pre-contracts for Matius Suarez and Podolski to join in the summer.

To me Suarez wouldnt fit in at Arsenal.
YNWA
PIDDY {Ed002's Note - Podolski will almost certainly join Arsenal in the summer as agreement has been reached between the clubs. There is no deal in place for Suarez - this is just nonsense being spread by someone called Javier Perez on Twitter. However, Arsenal do maintyain an interest in the player along with Liverpool, Newscastle, Lazio and Juventus.}

Podolsky is closer too lazio than arsenal... after what he said himself..

27 Apr 2012 08:43:11
hi, eds, joe cole have a chance returning to anfield next season, haven't u watch his performance this season in Lille? {Ed002's Note - I expect he will be sold in the summer.}

I hope he doesn't return. He was washed up and past it in his last year at Chelsea and he did nothing at Liverpool except collect his wages.

He will probably return to London.

Another knee jerk purchase by the club that has turned round to be a massive waste of money in terms of wages.

Gaz1975.

That red card didn't help him did it?

Keith

Give cole and aquaman a second chance and they could b the difference next season?

27 Apr 2012 07:51:44
eds if we wanted to get pep guardiola do you think we would have to get a dof who would want him and he wanted , also do you think we would have to pay him alot give him alot of funds and let him bring his own coaching staff in?

thanks and please answer {Ed002's Note - I really don't know. I suspect if he leaves Barcelona he will want a year off. There would also be a lot of interest from elsewhere.}

Is Pep Guardiola really that great a manager? The Barcelona team pretty much picks itself and the players fill in the blanks. They play the same way every week where with very few tactcal differences. Now teams are well aware of Barcelona's playing style they counter it (Chelsea and Real Madrid as examples) and Barca seem to have run out of new ideas.

27 Apr 2012 06:52:56
Eds do you think we have made the alleged bid for Gaston Ramirez? {Ed002's Note - It sounds like an older staory being recycled to be honest. Gaston Ramirez has however been watched by Liverpool. He was available in January for about 15M euro plus a signing on fee - but Liverpool did not follow up on their initial enquiry. However, Ramirez will move in the summer with interest being shown by Napoli, Inter Milan, Palermoand Juventus, who have made a firm offer. Unsubstantiated rumours suggest Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Manchester City, Spurs, Barcelona, Chelsea and Real Madrid are also interested. Sevilla were interested but I understand that Ramirez has no interest in such a move. At present, Napoli are still very much favourites for his signature as they look for a replacement for Levezzi who will be leaving in the sumemr. Discussions have now taken place between Bologna and Napoli - adding to discussions that have taken place with Juventus. His agent remains as talkative as ever but as of March 30 there has been no offer to Bologna for the player from any English club - and this has been confirmed by his club, and his agent. I will try and find out if this is a new story or not}

Who is lavezzi going to eds? {Ed002's Note - There is interest in Levezzi from several clubs with nothing decided at this time.}

27 Apr 2012 02:51:51
Just got home from a very busy day. Get to the bookies and get what you can afford on Pep Guardiola becoming Liverpool manager for next season.

Pure conjecture.If he does resign today I think he will take a year off. Must admit though I cannot think of many bigger clubs than LFC that might be looking for a new manager

Wow,Montivideo.Now i never would guessed that.Let me put my life savings on it.

Why what has he done at barcelona that any other manager could not do given the chance.they have world class players throught the team and it must be the best job in football to manage players like that.look ay rijkaard since he left barcelona what has he acheived yet when he was there he won everything.

I'm not doubting that he's a good manager, but he's a bit like Mancini in the sense that he has a squad of top draw players to maintain, whereas I feel if Kenny were to go we'd need someone who could bring out the best in what we have, given our limited budget. No disrespect to Pep but I don't think he'd be the man for us

Martin o'neill would do that

27 Apr 2012 00:52:20
Hi eds just wondering if u know of any recent interest i keisuke honda as i believe a while back i heard we was looking a tapping into the asian market and he is a big name over there and a good player thanx

YNWA manc {Ed001's Note - not recent interest, we passed up on our chance to sign him, I really do not understand why.}

I don't understand half the things we do

27 Apr 2012 00:51:26
Hi ed's, are the rumours guadiorla to quit as barca manager true? Would it be possible that Txiki Begiristain could be named as the new DoF,and guadiorla (spelling) to be lfc manager! With pep sigura and rodolfo borrell already here! It could be the perfect quartet? I,m putting 2 + 2 and getting 5 probably , but is there any chance of it ? I,m quite happy to let Kenny have another season or 2, with (fingers cross) 2 cups this season, he deserves it! But have seen on this site that some ed's say kenny could leave! Thoughts please! Thanks DHH L20 KOPITE. Y..N..W..A jft96 {Ed001's Note - nobody could answer that question, until a DoF is appointed, there is no way of knowing what will be happening.}

The BBCs gossip page for Friday:

Liverpool have agreed a deal to film exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of their dressing room for a documentary. Filming for the six-part programme, which is to be produced by American broadcaster Fox Soccer, will begin next month. It will capture preparations for, and the playing of, the FA Cup final before the TV crews move on to cover Liverpool's pre-season tour of the United States and Canada and the start of the 2012-13 campaign.

Kenny Dalglish says he will have no problem welcoming Alberto Aquilani back to Anfield if AC Milan decide against signing him permanently. The Italian midfielder is coming to the end of a season-long loan at the San Siro.

Tottenham have joined Liverpool in the race to sign Udinese's 25-year-old Colombian defender Pablo Armero, according to reports coming out of Italy

Feyenoord look set to land Liverpool's Dirk Kuyt after former team-mate Salomon Kalou confirmed the striker wants to head home. Chelsea forward Kalou, who played with Kuyt at the Rotterdam club, told Dutch TV: "Dirk told me he wants to return now."

Make of these what you will :)
Great site keep up the good work!

Hello Fantastic Eds/ Macca
1) Do you think that we might have an extra interest in Clint Dempsey this summer, after all the owners surely want to boost the reputation of the club in the US?
2) Is Junior(David) Hoillet out of contract this summer do you know, and if so, would we be interested.
3) Any interest in Muniain or Susaeta, or both?
4) In your opinion do you think the very, very, slight possibility of Guardiola coming to Merseyside, either this year, or next year has increased, after his meeting with Sandro Rossell to discuss his future on today?
5) What are the chances that Aquaman and J. Cole will play again for Liverpool, and who would be interested, if they were put up for sale, if Aquilani isn't to stay in Milan, with AC.
Cheers, JamieTheRed {Ed001's Note - 1. doubtful, we never go for players I favour! Plus the recruitment policy will not be based on where a player is from. The club will use other methods, such as the forthcoming fly-on-the-wall documentary, to gain ground in the US.
2. Yes he is, I believe he has already made a decision to join someone, I think Spurs, but it is only my opinion.
3. Yes, both.
4. No, the DoF will decide the manager.
5. They will only play for us if we can't get rid, which is beginning to look more and more likely, there is little serious interest in either.}

For number 1, Dempsey (while I would love to have him play for LFC) isn't all that well known here in the US- ironically he's probably better known by your average person in England than he is here.

Only real 'famous' American soccer player (by famous I mean a name that average people might maybe recognize even if they don't know exactly who it is) is probably Landon Donovan. Given that hardly anyone outside of the few small % of Americans that actually follow soccer could even tell you he's been on loan to
Everton, that should tell you how much influence American soccer professionals have here...

My thoughts anyway.

As far as i'm concerned dempsey isn't good enough to play for a bigger team than fulham, the only player that might be will be jose altidore

26 Apr 2012 23:41:29
Eds are you aware of any LFC scouts being at the game tonight to watch Llorante, Wolfswilly, Munian, etc, etc..? {Ed001's Note - if they were, they would have seen Wolfswinkel is awful, because he certainly was tonight. As far as I am aware we didn't have anyone at the game, but I will check.}

Yes we did we had 2 scouts there . i seen it with my own eyes.

ED001, how can you say wolfswinkel was poor? Scored goals, more than we can say for our team. Looks like he has come potential although probably not for 20 mil... {Ed001's Note - he scored one goal and was anonymous for the rest of the match, he was very poor. Sorry but he has been awful every time I watch him, even in a very weak Portugese league. Just because the commentators might talk him up, it doesn't mean he is actually any good.}

Really doesnt he have a score one in every three game ratio? i didnt want him anyways. last i say 7 in 20

Jose altidore?!?! The guy who went to Spain and was useless, went to hull and was useless, and has ended up in Holland where Titus Bramble would get double figures of goals a season?

You're either having a laugh or looking at stats from Football manager 08!

So does Odemwingie (1in3 ish ratio) but that doesn't mean he'll score 15 goals in 45 games for Pool does it?

Didn't he get injured early on in the game

Wolfswinkel is a no-no, patently not good enough.

If any of this story form the metro is true it could be good for the club....

http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/football/897215-liverpool-consider-andy-carroll-loan-to-free-up-room-for-summer-signings

decent targets and sensible loan decisions as well as suso getting a chance. Anyone buy it?

Also im intrigued to hear that DC advised KK to let AC quit in january. What an idiot! Give the lad some support. i cant believe he would have been so quick to lose that much money on his investment. Just shows he didn't respect the club or is owners.
