Where are all these huntelaar rumours coming from

For some reason some fools still rate him even though he's flopped at Madrid and Milan and has only scored 7 goals for a very, very poor Schalke side this season. That added to the fact he's 27, going on 28 and doesn't have the required pace or skill to make it any form of top level football.

I see these comments of how there are players in Borussia Dortmund who can improve our team. They have very good players there. Let's be realistic, though. They are 13 points ahead of 2nd in Bundesliga. They have been absolutely superb this season. Would Borussia Dortmund sell any of their top performers, considering they are about to win the Bundesliga? It is more likely they would stay, as that team is capable of winning a lot in the coming years. So, I say we have no chance of getting any players from Borussia Dortmund.

Just a quik response to the podolski rumour. he left cologne for bayern munich but wasnt there long before returning to cologne. this is because he was home sick. so if he can be that homesick whilst still in his own country theres no chance hes leaving for england. try doin some research on a player before writing ur bulls**t.

I'm not sure if people have said about him before but, he's a 25 year old German player(I'm sure you all know) who plays for FC Koln(Cologne), he's an industrious player, very similar to Kuyt, except he has a lot more pace, he's very strong on the ball, has a thunderous left foot and can also pass the ball.
Back in October 2010, he said he wanted to leave his current employers, but didn't get the opportunity. Zenit St. Petersburg apparently made an offer for Podolski for £12.7m in the January window, how ever, he does have this in his contract.

He looked great on the wing at the World Cup and didn't seem to be complaining. He's quick, strong, good crosser and has a great shot. Same qualities as Young but a lot cheaper. Ed?? ? {Ed001's Note - he is not a winger and he doesn't want to play there regularly.}

Ed, yes i would be delighted if we bought turan but be realistic'. Were buying YOUNG, and when we but him, im hearing that turan, mata and payet deals would not happen. Its madness, we need two TOP wingers and we are going to buy ONE POOR ONE, my source who i trust alot told me this and all his signings have been absolutely spot on. Ed, will we ever be INTERESTED in a top class player(sigh)?

As for Arda Turan he will be available in the summer and it will be up to Liverpool to put a package together if they are interested in the player. As for Payet, ke will also be available in the summer and there is a good chance of an approach by Liverpool. There is no Mata deal.}

I would not expect a "marquee" signing in the summer, as "marquee" signings tend to be forwards - and the only forward buys would likely be cover. If Arda arrived would you consider that a "marquee" signing?}

I reported on here a few minutes ago that Liverpool were interested in Goetze and Sahin from Dortmund especially as big Sami had given glowing reports on them. I hope that we have a couple of scouts at their game at Bayern Munich as Borussia have about 6 players that would enhance our squad greatly. Subotic, Hummels and Barrios are all quality and Sahin has just scored an absolute beauty from 25 yards - he has a fantastic left foot. Throw on google chrome and watch the game. Gomez isn't bad either btw.

HE also hear the that kk have draw up a list of players and may have arround £40m + player Sales

What a load of tosh. Are we supposed to believe that just because someone posts on here in pigeon english that it is somehow much more believable?

The Carlton Cole rumour has long since been put to bed and the "reported" £7m would be better served being put towards an actual quality player. Javi Martinez would be a good shout but is not being scouted at this moment as he is down the pecking order behind M'Vila and Matuidi.

I was at the game on Thursday night and it was being heavily reported that there are deals in place for Ashley Young for £15m in the summer (overpriced imho) and probably Izaguirre (£5.5m from Celtic). Adam may not be what KK requires in the summer and he may end up at Spuds although we will have at least 1 young up-and-coming centre midfielder (Goetze or Sahin from Dortmund as Sami has given them glowing reports.)

Don't be surprised if a right back is bought to allow Martin Kelly move in to be Carra's eventual successor. It will be most likely a defender with EPL and international experience who will be used to allow John Flanagan to develop and God help us but Alan Hutton has been mentioned (good going forward but atrocious defender) especially as Micah Richards is being ridiculously overpriced.

Kenny Dalglish, nobody really knows anythin about transfers only him and Damien Camolli, everythin else is just guesswork or what people have read in the papers, i'd trust what the Ed has to say, he knows his stuff (except when it comes to Suarez of couse :D but i don't think anyone really believed that transfr til he was in a red shirt)

1 goal in 31 appearances for CP and he's a striker/ winger. Sounds fantastic to me. And he's in the championship as well, so it must be VERY hard to score goals.

Liverpool are weighing up a £2.5m bid for Preston's Adam Barton. North End want an unlikely £5m! Also a deal for 20 year old Georginio Wijnaldum could be back on, un aware of price but im guessing a figure between £8m-£10m could be enough. What do you think of theese 2 players Ed, 2 very promising young players for me.

You maybe right ed, but from experience our managers have prefered to play a single lone striker when we have injuries (and sometimes anyway), and Pacheco isn't going to be put before Carrol, Suarez or Kuyt.

Ed what are your thoughts on getting Hulk? Big strong and powerful. Would suit the premier league perfectly and maybe Meireles can convince him to join. Hulk has been in deadly form this season. Ed have we looked at him and do you rate him? {Ed001's Note - we have looked at him in the past, never been any more than looked at though, to my knowledge. He does seem a good player for the Prem, would be well suited to playing 4-3-3, with him and Suarez off Carroll, I think.}
