Hey eds, is there any interest in Carlos Vela from LFC? I still wonder why we did not go for him instead of Aspas, because he has more experience playing at the highest level and is no doubt the better player. He is banging the goals in for Real Sociedad. {Ed001's Note - last I heard he had no interest in a return to England, there were a number of inquiries for him from English clubs.}

Any truth were making a move for Hiroshi Kiyotake of Nurnberg in January? Apparently he's quite the player! {Ed001's Note - we were supposed to be considering him prior to the summer, but we never made a move for him then. I have no idea why nothing happened, so I don't know if it would be likely that we move for him in January instead.}
Isn't he the player Villa were after?
