My journo friend informs me that one of the injunctions out at the minute is for Glen Johnson. .the worst part is that he has been having an affair with Pepe Reina's wife.
How to alienate our only HAPPY world class player in one fell swoop. Could it explain the seeming breakdown in team spirit?

Johnson didn't have a affair with reina's wife!
he has a child and is in a long term relationship.
the only things he has been named and shamed for was for stealing bathroom items from B&Q
and was questioned about assaulting a student outside a london night club

Top Rumour coming out of Anfield is that Roy H. will be replaced before our next home game. Martin O'Neill is lined up as a replacement.

I find it hard to believe that people , inc ed, would prefer Lucas to Poulsen! .The Dane may not be great but he is a better ball winner , better in the air and has a wider range of passes than Lucas
Poulsen holds the ball far too long, looks left, right and then plays a five yard pass, they could employ me to do that. No forward thought, and defence splitting passes. Iwould beg madrid to allow us to talk to xabi, and pay every penny of 30 mil to get him homeBELIEVE? for agree

Another disappointing match courtesy of uncle Roy. Poulson is absolute rubbish. Why not play Lucas? He may not be the best passer of the ball but that is why we have gerrard mereiles and cole and Lucas can at least boss the midfield defensively. Ed? Anyone else?
{Editor's Note: Poulson was a poor buy. I would rather see Lucas play.}

I hate Hicks and Gillett like the rest of you but please don't blame the results and perfomances on them. Something is clearly wrong within the team and RH is responsible. At this rate we will fighting relegation.

Lets face it we need 3 players in january . we need a centre back as i don't think skrtel is not very good any more scott dann would be perfect young talent that supports liverpool would jump at the chance of coming here . a winger we need charles nzognia prem experience, quick and good crosser of the ball and a striker again with prem experience maybe palychenko (spelling) or darren bent
Dont particularly agree that Skrtel is not good enough. Personally i think that we lack a commanding presence in defence which Sami used to be. Agger, Carra and Skrtel are not commanding presences. Also don't forget that Sami used to weigh in with some goals which none of are central defenders seem to do. I would like to see Christopher Samba to come in. Useful for both defending and scoring from corners/ crosses.
bent is proven goalscorer but would he complement torres?

I'm sick of this, our history is better than yours so we are better than you. now i'm to young to have seen the glory days, but none the less i'm a red and proud. i think every1 needs to start living in the now. now i don't want every1 saying how i'm disrespecting liverpool's history, but at presant are we the best team in the country, not even close. lets just get behind the team and get a good run of wins under our belt.

If Torres does leave in January for a reported £50m, who would you buy? Added to the fact we will probably get about £10m from sales from Babel and Lucas. Although, only hypothetical, we should buy a £25m striker, £20m on two wingers, and a £15m centre back.

I'm surprised at the Torres hate.
Both last year and this year (when Stevie has played in the hole behind Torres) it's been clear to me that they are starved of possession/ the through balls never get to them.
This results in calls for Stevie to move back to C Midfield. Torres can't be moved back as well (just making a point there).
Yes torres doesn't look up for it, but if your paid to score goals and your not given the opportunity to/ nor does it look like your going to be given an opportunity to and you going to walk round with a smile on your face?
Last three league Games:
WBA - Torres Scores only goal of game.
Brum - Howler.
Man U - 2 assists (Pen and free kick).
Can you remember how many opportunities in those games he blasted wide or over or at the keeper? If there were any it wasnt many as he's not had many opportunities.
I hate to say this as I think Kuyt isn't good enough to play for our team (mainly due to some of his decision making and that his second touch is a tackle but at least he works hard and makes himself available) but we've missed him.
When Carragher's isolated in defence at least when he's playing long balls Kuyt's there up against a normally smaller Full Back and wins the header.
Torres is being expected to do Kuyt's and his own job at the moment and it's clearly not working.
So lay off the man, the team lacks creativity at the moment, once we start giving him chances or making room for him to run into then he'll be back to his best.

Mr ED if the board dosent deliver the new ownership the players won't deliver mate cause when there is a problem the minds of the players is somewhere else mate .lets say Fernando in his mind he is already thinking about going in another club this for sure and i don't blame him , cause if someone at work knows that if things are not going well he things about leaving this and find another and this is the situation of our players how can they deliver i don't blame them .the club must solve it quickly as possible cause the losing touch it will become bigger and bigger and it will come to a point of colapsing mate and history and will be saying this long time ago there was a football club called liverpool . I am saying this not to belittle the peril that Hicks and Gillette have undoubtedly put us in but to state that I have to disagree with those that say that the yanks are responsible for our poor performances. Finances buy us players not wins. For us to believe Rafa's rantings that the owner's lack of support cost us a place in the top four is unfounded. Not replacing players sold with like players cannot be an excuse. I witnessed Cristiano Ronaldo leave united and though they did not retain their title last year, they kept pushing till the end. This year they are still up there. True, they still have a formidable squad to pick from but my point is they have been able to remain competitive because the manager has been able to get the best out of them. Players like Fletcher and Park will give it their all when called upon. I am and always will be Liverpool through and through but what we need to realise is that replacing our current owners will not be an instant cure. We need owners that will keep us sustainable on all fronts. Liverpool is an institution and Anfield hallowed grounds but the past is the past. It is time that we realised that.
