Still think we are getting Aguero. . .as ive been saying on the banter page. Suarez was genuine interest aswell but only for the right price, which it doesn't look like we will get. But i expect an agreement has already been met. Contract extentions mean absolute peanuts. The extention was set up to make Aguero more accessable for him to transfer to LFC. Athletico need money, they will more then likely get Honda. We will get Aguero!
The yanks have cash, and intend on increasing the pay role as werner stated. Quality players will come starting with Aguero.

Hi Ed I've listened of one of the editors say for the past weekthat he didn't think we were in for suarez at all , I don't think anybody knows what's happening regusrds players coming in or out even yesterday daglish said babel was staying now he's gone only players I heard we will sign are Adams and Honda

I did post on the site on Sunday that Sir Alex had genuine interest in Charlie Adam, but as usual no-one seems to believe anything, or should i say if you lot don't like it you all disagree! There are some realistic people on here but the majority post wish lists and seem very immature! The editors do a fine job and get a lot of unnecessary abuse for been truthful and realistic! With the news this evening that Emmanuel Adebayor is going to Real Madrid on loan until the end of the season. . will up increase our chances of getting Benzema on loan with the option to buy?
Ed - any thoughts on this one? Would you see this as a likely move and one you would recommend?
This would solve our striker problem and leave us the cash for a quality wide man (Honda / Turan)?

Another thing ive been told by my source at the club (obviously unnameable) is that Warnock deal is basically completed, but we are waiting to reveal our main signing before revealing Warnock. He believes that this is Suarez as a large proportion of No7's were ordered by in by the official store. They believe the deal is 22 million (16.5 + the babel funds) and should be complete sooner rather than later. YNWA!

Am Currently watching the Blackpool Mancs game - I was not overly excited re the Adam move - however, watching this guy again - He is exactly what we need! Since Alonso left we have not had that man in the middle that can change Defence to attack with one pass! I seriously hope we can nail this one! LFC board are keeping a close eye on D.camolli at the moment regarding transfers.
liverpool are preparing a bid for elia if Mj deal goes through, which is some way off at the moment.
Haroau, the 6, 4 foot striker is very much on the cards.
Adam deal 90% to go through, however there could be a stumbling block if LFC don't go to atleast 6.5 million and a player on loan option.
Suarez deal, was never on the cards and i think you should all be grateful, i'll just say the player would have been a big let down.

One thing I have picked up on is the post attached that makes me laugh as I keep hearing you say there is no budget as I believed this to be true. Now there seems to be a change of opinion? You seem to be "in the know" regarding what is happening, who's coming and who's going etc. As far as the striker situation goes we no doubt need one this window and as you seem adament that we are not going to get suarez, who do you think our new striker will be? Also will we be getting a winger? {ed's note - I really don't know for sure, nothing I have is coming from within Liverpool, I am gathering information from elsewhere and having to piece it together. We definitely have interest in Hoarau and Gervinho, whether they will be signed or not I don't know. I do think Hoarau is the likely striker though, that is my feeling. There is money been prepared for signings, with Babel's sale being put towards the pot, that is all I have from within Liverpool. But the way it was explained to me made it seem that it is unlikely Suarez would join because it would wipe out the entire transfer pot.}

Liverpool's bid to sign Luis Suarez has broken down, according to reports in Holland.
Dutch newspaper Het Parool have claimed that Liverpool's director of football Damien Comolli held talks with the club this morning.
But he has been put off by Ajax's £30 million valuation of the striker and is not willing to do business for anywhere near that price.

Ed. . A question to you sir. You seem to be "in the know" regarding what is happening, who's coming and who's going etc. As far as the striker situation goes we no doubt need one this window and as you seem adament that we are not going to get suarez, who do you think our new striker will be? Also will we be getting a winger ? {ed's note - I really don't know for sure, nothing I have is coming from within Liverpool, I am gathering information from elsewhere and having to piece it together. We definitely have interest in Hoarau and Gervinho, whether they will be signed or not I don't know. I do think Hoarau is the likely striker though, that is my feeling. There is money been prepared for signings, with Babel's sale being put towards the pot, that is all I have from within Liverpool. But the way it was explained to me made it seem that it is unlikely Suarez would join because it would wipe out the entire transfer pot.}

Tonight will be Charlie Adam's last game for Blackpool as we have had out offer of £6.5mil accepted and is to be announced early tomorrow morning, see how he reacts after the game, personally i am very happy with this signing because we need a new 'Xabi Alonso like' player who spreads the ball.
Also, Luis Suarez is likely to hand in transfer request and Liverpool will make first move of offering around £20mil, funds coming from Jovanovic deal and Babel deal :) Liverpool will win the league in next 3 years as we now have the funds to go out and but players.

I can't reveal who I am but I have some extremely reliable sources around Anfield. When I asked one of them yesterday whether we'd sign Suarez and Adam he assured me that he didn't know and would I like to drink up 'cos he wanted to close.
My other source is at Melwood and, obviously, I can't reveal his identity. . . but, when I asked him if we would be strengthening our decidedly shaky defence during this transfer-window he told me "I won't ask you again Sir, you're blocking the entrance! "
A third source revealed that a large order had been placed that very morning for number 7 shirts (possibly Suarez? ?) before asking if i'd like a bag.
I'll keep you updated as and when I get more inside information.

Looking from the outside, it seems to me that Dalglish and commoli are opposites.
Dalglish commands and gets total respect from anyone that engages with him, including other clubs, managers, agents etc. Commoli is the opposite and is looked upon with disrespect is not trusted ( similar accusations were levelled at him at Spurs)
How can these two continue to work as one for the club? Anyone care to comment. .
