I have been told Kevin De Bruyne may be a option in the summer. Have you heard anything or is?

are Liverpool interested in jose salomon rondon ?

I doubt he'd be successful. Always looks like a fish out of water and is likely to prefer a London based club due to the ease of making up a chant about him.

Hey Eds, like the new look.
Bild reporting that Liverpool are interested in signing Khedira. It makes sense as a 'marquee' Gerrard replacement and I just can't see us being able to afford Pjanic. Do you know if Khedira is an option for Liverpool and you think he'd come? (After we snatch 4th spot from United)

Thanks! :)

{Ed002's Note - Real Madrid are looking much less likely to offer a new deal to Khedira now that Silva has arrived. He is able to sign a pre-contract agreement with any side outside of Spain now and AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool, Arsenal and Schalke 04 sre all interest. Each of these clubs has spoken with thge representatives of the player. The player's representatives have also approached Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Bayern Munich to guage interest as Khedira is keen to play in the Champions League next season. Chelsea and Arsenal are both concerned about the player's on going fitness. At the end of the day, if he can prove his fitness, Liverpool or Schalke would likely be the best fit for him.}

That would be awesome (assuming he regains fitness)
I also like Kondogbia there.

Jesus Ed we've gone from being unsure about our Manager to signing Ings and quite possibly Khedira?

If we sign Khedira we have a legitimately good chance to win the league (provided we perform well at the START of the season too!). Then again, he's only marginally less injury prone than Lucas with nowhere near as much love for the club. Somehow doubt he chooses us over the long list of suitors

Ed when you say best fit do you mean as Lucas/Gerrard are likely to leave and he could fill a gap in midfield as a regular starter or in terms of money, for the club and player it is the best fit? I assume he would be a very expensive 'free' transfer.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Gerrard is leaving - not "likely" to leave. You are trying to read too much in to what was said - there are no secret messages there.}

Are Liverpool interested in Ciro Immobile or Alvaro Morata? Thanks.

Believable0 Unbelievable2

{Ed002's Note - Immobile won't be looking to leave Germany this summer and Morata will return to Spain when he eventually leaves Juventus. He has had several opportunities to move to England in the past - including to Liverpool. 18 months ago Real Madrid thought that Liverpool would ask for Alvaro Morata as part of any transaction for Suarez but they never got that far in discussions.

I expect Ings will arrive in addition to Origi.}

25 Feb 2015 11:44:26
Ings would be a good shout the more I think about it, not a huge outlaw, so risk is little, he is used to the rough and tumble of the premier league, has looked good for Burnley and scored a fair number of goals in a struggling team has good technique and a tremendous work ethic, he isn't a slouch pace wise so would fit in with a quick attack, wouldn't be too unhappy with that attack Sturridge, Ings, Origi, Borini as our front options would be OK. The fact that the other teams like City and Chelsea have also considered Ings shows that he is reasonably highly rated.

Judging by your criteria for Ings, I would not go any where near Robin Hood.

Ed001/2 what are The chances of liverpool moving for Yoan Goaurcouff?

Believable0 Unbelievable1

{Ed002's Note - It sounds like old news to me. Spartak Moscow, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid all considered Lyon's Yoann Gourcuff last summer. Liverpool went on to buy Lallana and already have Coutinho as an attacking midfield player so I am not so sure that interest still remains. The club also has a number of other players suitable for that role. I am sure Lyon would be happy to sell him and he would be pretty cheap I would think.

However, it makes little sense to me unless Coutinho or one of the others were to leave and new medical facilities were to be built as he has always had injury issues.}

02 Mar 2015 16:08:21
By his own admission Yoann prefers life in the shade anyway so its arguable that he may not fare very well under the english media and pressure of a high profile club. Talented player no doubt but I wouldn't have him.

Eds

Do we have any interest in Gourcuf from Lyon please? Also I've read thst Ings has turned down Sociead in favour of us and he will cost us 6m in compensation in the summer, does that sound about right mate?

Aston Villa, Leicester, Real Sociedad and Newcastle all have shown an interest in Danny Ings but my expectation remains that he will join Liverpool in the summer.}

Wow cheers for reply mate. that's good enough for me.

Also mate sorry meant to add. He will arrive on the basis of us clearing out at least 2 Strikers as we also have Origi coming in?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool will certainly lose a couple of strikers. They are overloaded right now.}

Hi eds, thanks for all the work you've put in this past window, just a question about jack dunn, I see he's back in training after yet another injury for the poor lad, will he go back to Cheltanham where he was playing well and scoring goals or has he maybe shown enough to be given a chance under BR even though with all the strikers we have I know that would be difficult??

Many thanks

{Ed001's Note - I expect him to go back on loan.}
