Rodgers is considering a loan for the rest of the season for Malouda who is surplus at Chelsea

He now plays in brazil
Florent has decided to go to Brazil,from what i understand.
I like Malouda, he's aged a bit, but he still cause a lot of goals in Brazil i imagine.
{Ed002's Note - Malouda is still at Chelsea but would like a two year deal in Brazil before moving to Dijon for a season. Moving to Brazil has been a problem because of his wage demands.}

Any concrete interest in Bernd Leno from Liverpool or other EPL clubs? In March Ed002 mentioned him in regards to Rene Adler being dropped from Lever's XI and that's about all that's on this rumours site.
Keeper isn't a priority but looking to the future can be good.

how much would zerate cost?
i know we need strikers but why would we go for a player that isnt playing well this smacks of fabio borini al over again i mean zerate isnt exactly prolific in front of goal we need a poacher al a robbie fowler esque.surely theres better options available.

At the lower end of that guess it dosnt seem a bad price as a backup option but we still need someone who can score 20+ goals a season but saying that zerate isnt going to want to move to warm the bench!

I disagree if we can sign Huntelaar for 6-10 million and then Zarate for 6-7 million I'd be very happy with our business in January.
Two quality players in for nominal fees. Plus even with Zarate looking for form at 25 he has time to find it. A move will do him the world of good.
For me we'd be mad to not for for these.

He had a decent time at Brum, but hasn't been all that in Italy.
He certainly isn't an answer to our problems and i think we have a few players better than him already in that position.

Hi, on the bbc live score feed every week u get "no darren bent" " he is defo going to sign for liverpool in january". What do u reckon please tell me eds that we have no interest what so ever in player that is so over rated its incredible is lazy doesent score as much goals as everyone makes out hes a spurs reject and he hardly is rodgers type player? -Marko Marin looks gud but not getting enough playing time at Chelsea. Any interest from Liverpool to get him on loan? maybe with option buy. ur opinion eds?

Hi eds, any truth in Mauro Zarate's agent saying we're interested in the Lazio striker? {Ed002's Note - Certainly a number of clubs have looked at Zarate in the past including Liverpool, Stoke, Spurs, Arsenal, Rubin Kazam, Spartak Moscow, Lille and Malaga. Certainly Lazio would like to be rid of the player would be willing to sell as he has neither settled nor performed well since his arrival. Given his less than good recent form he strikes me as an odd choice if there is current interest.

I am told by someone who has only recently been involved at Blackpool that Tom Ince has attracted the attention of a number of clubs most notably Manchester United and Liverpool. I don't know if a bid has been made or not.}
Why did we let Ince go in the first place? Same as Kacanacilic both good wingers that we let go to sign terrible players like Paul Konchesky and Charlie Adam!

Do you know anything of a buy-back option in ince's contract ed?
i thought he was class for our reserves. Understand he left because we couldnt agree on a contract but doing it without an option to buy back would have been madness!

About the Cavani rumours - I read today that the quotes from his agent aren't actually his agent!
It's no different to me going on Twitter saying that I represent Cavani and he's moving to Liverpool in January - and people believe it purely because they want to believe it.

Ed002, i remember u previously talking about us watching Bernard, do you think we still might be interested in signing him? {Ed002's Note - Atletico Mineiro's Bernard refused offers from Zenit and Qatar in the summer but may move on this January. Inter and Liverpool both had Bernard watched last summer with Inter offering part ownership of others in exchange for part ownership of Bernard, but again that was refused. However, Spartak Moscow and Shakhtar Donetsk have both recently approached Atletico Mineiro and it looks like a deal could be done.
Ed so are we no longer interested? {Ed002's Note - He was a number of South American players looked at by Diego Caniggia earlier in the year as discussed at the time. I am not aware of any interest beyond Spartak and Shakhtar Donetsk at this time but think there is a pretty good chance of him moving in January.}
I swear I was going to ask the same question to Ed002 today. Really want to see a few more Quality Brazilians at LFC and the only way to get them is get them in early before their teams start demanding 20 odd mills for them and they can only be bought by Chelsea, Mancity or PSG.
Liverpool should go for Bernard, Ronaldinho was raving about him and lets face it if you only have one name in football thrn you gotta be good.

Hi eds, I know I asked the same question in the summer, but is there any chance we could get Edinson Cavani, according to The Express, his agent has said that Cavani has agreed to hold talks with English clubs and wants to start of by speaking to Arsenal and Liverpool, I know that the other teams like Man city and Chelsea (who have shown interest in the past) are able to offer more than we could, but I feel Cavani would be more interested in being close to his national team mates Coates and Suarez than earning ridiculous amounts of money. {Ed002's Note - The story in relation to Liverpool is not true. His agent said nothing of the sort.}
Hasnt Cavani just signed a new contract with Napoli {Ed002's Note - He has but vthat in itself would not stop a move.}

Harry Redknapp likes to take in players not yet playing to their fullest and, somehow, make them shine. So, I'm not surprised that he takes Joe Cole.

What are the chances of Wilfried Bony and Dries Mertens coming to Liverpool in January?
They look like the alternative foreign options to Theo Walcott and Daniel Sturridge.
Either way, I think we're likely to buy two players that will replace Joe Cole and Stewart Downing.

Rodgers is confident in signing 21 yr old Robert Beric of maribor. He will be available for around £3m.
Expect bigger signings, but Beric is a promising youngster who will be a great addition for the future.
