THIS ISN'T A RUMOUR JUST A QUESTION!

Sky sources say that AC Milan are planning 25m bid to get tevez surely that would be bad for us just to enquire and see how much they want and do u think we will even look at him at the slightest and about de Jong do u think he may come in jan as I read an article saying KD is not afraid to buy replacements for people who have bad attitudes e.g. Carroll annoyed because he is on the bench

LFCHero :)!

Stupid rumours with Tevez - he's in the main unhappy because his family are so far away, 20 miles down the east lancs isn't gonna solve that. And then there's the fact he and his advisors like a move for he money too, are we outspending City and Milan these days? Let this one go fellow reds!

Tevez to AC Milan will be a done deal very soon. Have you heard of punctuation mate btw?

Was told by a friend that Steve g had cought a mrsa super bug which was the reason he was out for so long, not sure if this was true or has anything to do with his recent injury

I have never heard so much rubbish in my life....and I've been using this site for a long time, but that tops it all

MRSA is probably bulls**t but there is something slightly worrying that a top athlete has caught 2 internal infections inside of a few months - one of which appears to be spontaneous in origin.

TSP

MRSA
that is not as stupid as you think, i had an op on a snapped Achilles and ended up with mrsa, its very common and i wouldnt be at all surprised if this was true, bob paisleys skids

Liverpool reportedly interested in Luuk and Siem de Jong. Lars bender is also being targeted to play on the right wing. Seydou Doumbia would prefer a move to Arsenal.

Bender on the right. You sir, are bull schmitin

Bender has a double leg fracture, wont be going anywhere. {Ed002's Note - Don't be so stupid and say players have serious injuries when they don't. His brother has a broken jaw.}

I watched bender last night he didnt do a lot he is probably better than that, but he runs a lot like kevin mc donald, you know like hes sh@t his shorts, bob paisleys skids

From the moment i saw this i know its full of bull!bender is a defensive midf not a right sided player!

Hi ed,

was just curious, we have scouted marin before haven't we. Do you know if we looked at Aaron hunt while we were scouting bremen? Excellent player, young creative with excellent team ethic. I can never get any info out of Germany.
Thanks

Rewflo {Ed002's Note - AC Milan, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs, Napoli, Juventus and Roma have all shown an interest in Marko Marin in the past and I hear that Arsenal are interested at the moment. Much will depend on whether or not Liverpool make the Champions League as to whether he is a viable option or not; and the summer is a considerable distance away at present. Perhaps Italy is the most likely destination, and I understand his preferred destination. I don't know of any interest in Hunt at all from Liverpool.}

Ed you said earlier that it is likely that we buy an attacking mid/deep foward. Who is likely to come in other than honda, kagawa or sissoko? Any chance of reus, gaston ramirez or lucas moura? {Ed001's Note - I said it seems likely, not it is likely. The most likely signings would be Honda, Sissoko or De Jong. Honda because his team are in their close season, Sissoko because we have already put in lots of the donkey work and De Jong because he is suddenly attracting interest from a lot of other clubs. Impossible to say which one, if any, will come yet, no deals have been done to my knowledge, so it is just waiting for some movement to happen now.}

If we could get Honda, Sissoko and De Jong it would be great business and they are avaliable and there has/is intrest.

What about Leroy Fer he has played 4 games for Feyenoord with 2 goals then moved to twente and has scored 4 goals in 12 with an assist. he is a deep laying creative midfielder with speed, tackling, physicality, passing and ball control as attributes. oh and age (21)

To the first reply, we won't be getting all three! Keith

Liverpool are monitoring Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Lars Bender and are preparing a January bid, according to reports in Germany.

Norwich and Republic of Ireland U21 winger Antony Pilkington has been linked with a shock move to Liverpool.

Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea are tracking French midfielder Benjamin Corgnet according to reports in France.

The 24-year-old currently plies his trade in Ligue 1 with newly-promoted Dijon, and has garnered interest after turning in a number of impressive performances.

The lads name alone should be a barrier to any English club signing him. Imagine the opposition fans delight.
Maybe Arsenal could be tempted ?????

Wont be buying that shirt.....

are liverpool intrested in kaka have seen that real madrid have made clubs aware of the fact kaka is available would liverpool be intrested also are they intrested in any other players

Cheers for posting this I expect hundreds of kaka rumours now !

From what i can gather from my contact in Madrid (though its been a while since we spoke) kaka has no interest in Liverpool and very little interest in England at all now. When Carlo and chelsea were interested he wouldve gone now he has said privately that its Italy or back to Brazil for him.

Contact in madrid ? oh dear ! as for kaka, good a few years ago, average nowadays

Hi eds, just wanted to ask if you have heard something new about soldado, seems very suspicious that he scores a hattrick and the next day we're supposedly planning a bid for him, but it could be true. Especially after reading here that we tried to get him into the academy, and probably kept a close eye on him!

I for one would love to see him in a red shirt, exactly what we need imho, great finisher and great pace. But anyone wanting to buy will probably have to {Ed001's Note - I would think his price has sky rocketed and that would see us look elsewhere, though we have kept tabs on him so you never know.}

ed, do you think there s a realistic chance of getting soldado in jan? valencia need the money, we need the striker(in good form!).. thanks mate.. indian red.. {Ed001's Note - not really in January, they prefer to sell in the summer, though a big enough offer would force them to sell I guess.}

Im just speculating based on previous transfer activity but valencia don't usually sell without having a ready replacement. Can't imagine him going yet and valencia debt is very manageable there days they aren't as desperate as they were.

Honda recently parted ways with the agent he had been using since his days in Holland, and I have heard from a fairly reliable source in Japan that he is using a new agent to try to engineer a move to Germany, where most of the other overseas Japanese players are. His first choice destination has always been Spain (namely Real Madrid) and he has also been keen on England, but with no firm offers having come in he seems resigned to ending up in Germany. Apparently CSKA Moscow are being stupid about his price tag, and recently quoted Seville 19 million Euros for the player. If a reasonable fee could be arranged he would be a decent addition to the squad but we would face competition from Arsenal as Wenger is a big fan of the player. Right now I believe that he will just accept whatever route he is offered to get the hell out of Russia.

Benjamin Corgnet? Just paper talk i guess eds?

Adzii {Ed002's Note - Manchester United, Liverpool and Aston Villa have apparently had folks watch Dijon play Bordeaux either last weekend or the week before (my notes are none to clear). What I don't have any confirmation of is who, if anyone specifically, they may have been interested in. As a player Corgnet is having a good season after a pretty uninspiring season last year. I have no recollection of seeing him play at all.}

Hi Ed's do you know if we've continued scouting Moussa Sissoko and Kagawa? Or has the interest dropped? {Ed001's Note - the interest is still there.}

Just a gut feeling but i think if we buy a mid in Jan it will be sissoko because i know kagawa doesn't want to move till summer at least. If we wait till summer then i think kagawa would join.

Ed with Gerrard now out until January (atleast) and shelvey probably extending his loan at blackpool, Do you think we will move for an attacking/center midfielder now, in January? Have you heard anything? Sissoko ?
Cheers
Aussie red {Ed001's Note - I am not sure, it would seem sensible to move for one, but I have not heard anything new regarding one. Whether that is because we are keeping it quiet, have yet to make a move or because we got a deal done with someone we were talking to previously, I don't know.}

Who could we have previously been talking to ed? And wouldn't Kagawa be one?

Hi edds, have we ever had a look at bringing kaka in? Or would we?
Gaz b {Ed001's Note - not to my knowledge, why would we? Until Ronaldo joined Madrid, Kaka was the highest paid player in the world.}

From what I'm told, had modric really dug his heels in kaka would now be at spurs, a deal was in place the player was happy with the deal and if you remember? on sky sports transfer deadline, with minuets to go, there was talk of a big name maybe joining! That was kaka, but modric was happy to remain!

Thanks for the reply. Yea I remember that actually. So he would of had to take a massive pay cut ay spurs though surely? Was only asking cos I saw him in the paper today, use to think he was class.
Gaz b

Think to start it would definitely have been at least a one year loan with option to buy? But I may be wrong? But it was definitely kaka! Ed 1, may be able to confirm? Don't know who his contacts are at spurs but mine are former players!

Kaka isn't really greedy. Its not about money for him. I know it seems that way because of how much if is paid but he does donate a huge portion of that to various churches and charities. Don't think of him as a mercenary.

hey eds, who is the most likely of kagawa and honda and who do you see as the better player? {Ed001's Note - the most likely player to be signed in Jan is Honda, purely because it will be the close season there. I am not sure which is the better player, Honda is more versatile, which suggests he is at least mentally better.}

Ed I take it honda is ready to move on {Ed001's Note - he was ready to move last January for £8m, but the Asian Nations held up any move for him, once it had finished no one seemed to want to move for him. We certainly had reps out there and knew the price, but it could simply have been the search for a striker that put our move on hold. Though it could just be wishful thinking from me as I love him as a player and we might just have dropped our interest. Certainly this season there has been less talk of him moving on, but I am told he is still available.}

Ed, you're response to the initial post would make it seem like we are still keeping tabs on him. Is this true? Huge fan of Honda

JackAnty {Ed002's Note - I do not believe that Honda will move to Liverpool as the club turned down the chance previously and he has a stated desire to move to Spain. Sevilla and Malaga have looked at Honda and there is a very good chance an offer will be made by one or the other when he has proven his fitness.}

Hi ed, can you clarify whether Chris Mavinga was sold or shipped out on loan?
I've been told that we are looking at Maiga of sochaux, Aubameyang of saint- etienne(though I thought he'd only just moved there) and Cisse of Freiburg, is there any truth in this?
Thanks
Hutch/The kman {Ed002's Note - Mavinga was sold. Maiga will move to Newcastle and I can't help with the others.}

ed is there a possibilty for hazard due to Joe Cole wanting to stay a lille {Ed002's Note - No.}

Please stop goin on about eden hazard he aint comin

Lille slap £43m price tag on star Hazard.

Thats ok liverpool slap 44 million price tag on joe cole so million pound profit for us in the deal lol only joking eds i know we have no chance of hazard i dont think many others realise this tho

Worth every penny

43 milla? Some people have been smoking grass. Hazard has done nothing to command such a high price tag. He is a sub 25 milla player and no higher.

BooDaBooze

If you believe that Hazard is only worth 25 mil that you should perhaps lay off da booze

Liverpool are looking at bidding for Roberto Soldado this January. Comolli is wiling to go big, with an offer of 22m plus Dirk Kuyt being mooted. Stay tuned for more on this story

Gavinno

Soldado scores a hat trick last night and a couple of hours later we have a bid planned?? Seriously doubt it!!!!!

I dont understand why we should buy him. because he scored a hattrick and only six goal this season. cant see how he will help the team... for 22 mill, we can get a lot better and younger player..

If Valencia beat Chelsea they are through to the knock out stages of the CL. So why would they then sell their top scorer? They wouldn't

The lad is a 1 in 2 striker, I think he would be a great signing - not just because of a hat-trick last night - he has scored goals consistently. Coming into his prime too, and I'm certain he's scored more than 6 this season

RedSG

Understand some lad from bath had a good game last night? On this posters rational, should we buy him!! get a grip

The guys who said we like soldado about today then u are not regular here. we see post for him 2 month a go.

I hope. Has great Movement. Strong body. Great pocher.

Do the negative posters on here actually know who Soldado is or ever seen him play? He has been watched from Rafa's days and has improved both as a goal scorer and all round player since then. Maybe these people believe that there is no room in our squad for a natural goal scorer. Other clubs have a couple of them and that is the reason that they are higher up the league than we are.

You dont watch spanish football do you he has scored 13 goals this season 5-5 in the champions league and 8-12 in la liga
