not a lot if you go on what macca said in september.
I think we had a great transfer window, really improved the squad.
Looking forward to the season ahead.

His opinion on the success of a transfer window has nothing to do with the reliable information he's passed along over the years.
He missed the mark on the quality of players, but his rumours are usually pretty reliable.
I'm not questioning that, Macca is the most reliable source of info on this site when it comes to news, usually transfer news, from inside the club.
I was just curious to hear from him on whether he still stands by his view on how successful a window he thought we had in the summer and if he's heard anything recently regarding BR, the players etc etc
A great piece on 'The Tomkins Times' just accurately pointed out that only 50% of transfers are 'hits' while only 25% are 'hits' in the first season.
Of this summers buys Manquillo & Moreno look like hits, Lallana & Lambert look like value for money, Balotelli, Lovren & Markovic are struggling, Origi is doing well on loan. Of the strugglers, Balotelli & Markovic probably have protected value with the latter still considered to have loads of potential.
