{Ed002's Note - Not that I am aware, and Liverpool has certainly not spoken with Marseille about compensation.

Andre Ayew will look to move in the summer once free of his contractual ties - and whilst Newcastle and Everton maintain their interest they have been joined by Roma and Inter Milan in actively seeking to have him sign a pre-contract agreements. All four clubs have already spoken with Marseille regarding compensation, so that will not be an issue. Last summer saw some interest from Newcastle, Inter Milan, Arsenal, Aston Villa, QPR, Hull and Dynamo Kyiv. Liverpool also enquired after a guideline price for the player at that time. Recently Roma, Newcastle, Borussia Dortmund, Inter, Everton and Wolfsburg have made enquiries with Inter, Everton and Newcastle are pushing as I say. Marseille discussed the player with Spurs and West Ham in January and an offer from Napoli was rejected. The player has suggested he would like to move on to a "better" side and cited Chelsea, Real Madrid or Barcelona as ideal destinations - he will be waiting a long time for that. A move to Italy appears the most likely option with Roma, I understand, offering the best package.

If Liverpool were to make an offer there is a good chance he would be interested. The player's agent has been in Italy all week talking to Inter and Roma. A representative of Marseille is in England at the moment talking to clubs about the possible transfer of another player - perhaps the club should contact her to agree the compensation. Marseille are looking for a fixed amount and it won't be an issue.}

Hey Ed what position does Ayew play in and do you see him as a good addition, would he go into first 11 or is he a squad player.

Talking to the Marseille representative last night, she tells me that Roma, Newcastle, Everton or Inter remain right now the only clubs who have agreed compensation with Marseille and are pushing for a deal with the player. She believes his agent is now in Germany dealing with something related to Joshua Guilavogui.}
