Downing? Jones?

Enough of the fantasy football, and hulk would cost more, he has a crazy get out price

Good grief I don't know what's worse, the time you wasted writing that or the time I wasted reading it. Yes - Villas Boas will be our next manager and De Jong will sign as a sub. The Johnson who is leaving will be staying, and we'll have a youngster called Wisdom. What's the weather like on your planet?

There is as much chance of Hulk signing for Liverpool as there is of FSG taking a £20-25 million loss on Andy Carroll. I also note that you have us signing Gaston Ramirez to sit on the bench. Time to stop playing Football League Manager and Fifa I think.

Haha if only mate. Your dreaming !

Err No.

When you wake from this dream state get some tissues they may be useful

Yes, because AVB proved to be flexible in his tactics and is willing to run a 4-2-3-1

Good grief I don't know what's worse, the time you wasted writing that or the time I wasted reading it. Yes - Villas Boas will be our next manager and De Jong will sign as a sub. ---------------------------------------

WE DO have a player called wisdom, a defender.

Calm down guys, its his opinion just relax bloody hell! I for one would love most them signings but highly unlikely

Welshtrix

Danny Wilson to leave on a free???

Tell me, is there anything about the club you lot actaually like?

Perhaps some of you should have supported AVB when he was at Chelsea, he could have done with some support.

Villas Boas. Lol.

Troll harder, bro

Eds, is it possible to create a separate page called 'my fantasy team' for idiots like the OP?

Guess it won't even be possible to make a team like this in fifa' 12

Somebody plays football manager!!!

I wish

Haha mental why the hell would we want avb

Dream on!

Come on Ed's not again!

I'm not even going to rant again haha

Hi eds, do u think liverpool could look at jarvis or any other wolves players now they have been relegated? cheers. {Ed001's Note - the only one worth looking at is Fletcher, no, though, much as he would like to join us.}

22 Apr 2012 22:54:26
Eds, is there any interest from LIVERPOOL or any other club in Joao Moutinho from FC Porto?

And also do you think, in your opinion, it is possible that AVB will be Liverpool's manager next season? {Ed001's Note - no idea and I very much doubt it.}

Eds,
Personally I think there is a great possibility that AVB will be the next Liverpool manager.
It is known that John Henry wanted a younger, fresher manager and Dalglish wasn't his preferred choice. Now AVB is available and the owners would not have to pay the 13 million for his signature as last summer.
Also he could work with steve clark again as he did at chelsea under mourinho.
Why do you doubt it, Eds? {Ed001's Note - because he has already proven himself incapable of dealing with big personalities. Why would anyone want him?}

Spot on ed we fans don't spare our own king what will hapen with AVB god knows haha

I for one would very much welcome AVB. He was unlucky with Chelsea. Too many big egos. I don't think that is the problem with Liverpool players. {Ed002's Note - It was too many poor results not too many big egos.}

Again spot on ed AVB was sacked coz of stubborn rather then ego his training methods and tactics were not working and still continued I think epl pressure is to much for him at the momment and lack of experience is not helping him

22 Apr 2012 22:13:17
eds if carroll kuyt and suarez leave do you think we will sign 4 strikers because we already need one as it is {Ed002's Note - No.}

22 Apr 2012 21:34:42
do the eds no if Unai Emery mite take the manager job with us he is a young and has done a good job with Valencia with low cash, he young and mite bring soldado with him thanks
danny
{Ed001's Note - it is perfectly possible, but there have been no recent links with him.}

Is it like a tesco offer get Emery and Soldado comes free

Where do you guys get your friggin silly associations from?

A defeat in a game we dominated and the loyalty flies out the window. I'm glad you're not a friend of mine.

22 Apr 2012 21:14:44
Please please dont buy roberto soldado. Hes not the player hes made out believe me, his overall play is good but hes not really tge greatest of a poacher and thats what we need. And he wouls cost a bomb! Not worth risk big money signings dont seem to be workings its just getting right players, look at cisse cabaye ba van der vaarr modric, just get newcastle scouts in. Eds what positions do you see personally as needing improving? And what postions di you actually believe will be improved in an ideal world? And while im here do you believe any real interest in hazard on our behalf? And what do u think will happen with joe cole last thing we need is him on the wage bill, p.s i agree woth you glen johnson has to go martin kelly is more reliable {Ed002's Note - Joe Cole will leave in the summer.}

I agree he is over rated good player but he not going to change much at liverpool fc even if we are after him

Yeah get the toon scouts in!!........ is it only me or HOW HARD IS IT TO SIGN THE TOP SCORER IN THE BUNDESLIGA AND TWO FRANCE INTERNATIONALS!!

Oh yes cuz 26 goals in 41 games is not a poacher!

Can anyone tell me another striker that would actually consider joining us that scores that many goals??

Suarez had 49 goals in 48 games.

I know about Suarez but what about currently!

Saldado is crap... pay the extra few million and ger Llorente

Soldado not a real poacher? Next thing you'll be telling me Llorente's no good in the air.

Over rated ? oh please, he will play up front for spain in the euros and if he plays well he will go elsewhere and he will be another that got away

"look at cisse cabaye ba van der vaarr modric, just get newcastle scouts in"
===============================

Exactly when did Van Der Vaart and Modric become Newcastle players and wasn't Comolli instrumental in bringing Modric over from Croatia?

and
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNO8f0VMC4w

proof that Roberto soldado is amazing!

He has scored 30+ goals this year in La Liga and Champions League/ Europa. I would say that is a pretty fair resume to me....

I wasnt saying they were newcastle players i was expressing the fees they paid for these players and look how good they are compared to the prices weve paid fir players that wouldnt lace there boots. And what i said was soldado is not the player people make out hes a good player overall but he aint a poacher. 26 goals yeap but hes not prolofic just a matter of opinion though i believe it would be a mistake alomg with luikde jong he wouldnt handle it in england, fernando lorente seems the outstanding xanditate if possible if not look at the likes of huntellar woth a release clause of 18 mill. Do t get me wrong soldado would be good signing but not for 20+ mill and u said hel start upfront for spain in euros. No he wont he may well be in squad but spain coach doesent rate him that highly hence why he has so little caps lorente and villa will be top 2 villa is weeks away.

So buy Huntelaar for roughly £7 million less than what we might pay for Spain's first choice striker at the forthcoming Euros?

I seem to remember people saying Torres wasn't prolific enough at Atletico.

Oh dear.

Your not much of a lfc fan mate saldado top class joe cole is good

I stoppd reading at Scott Dann, well you've cheered me up mate cheers

Get g.ramirez and M. suarez we would be loving it

^^ and hoillet and badelj from that list would be nice, i would also like to see luuk de jong he looks like a promising young lad.

I understand that Butland is one of the people we are definitely looking at - but not the only 'keeper being kept close tabs on!

The Shoe Shine Boy

With your valuations I'm guessing you're not the club accountant.

I know this wont happen, but if i was John Henry i would dethrone King Kenny now and get someone in sharpish (Benitez, AVB, Aldridge?).

That would then give the new man in charge 4 - 5 games to asess the squad and make cut throat decisions in the summer, otherwise if the owners wait till the summer then the new man in charge wont have worked with the team till July when they come back of holiday. That will then effect transfers and increase the chance of rash decisions bing made, also we could lose out on players that make the move early in the window.

It would also unsettle the squad.

Surely he deserves to take us to the FA cup final? After all his years of commitment to LFC we should at least allow him that much

MR EM

AVB, Aldridge? Did you watch Chelsea under AVB? Aldridge has more experience than Dalglish? Sometimes I wonder with your comments...

Just let him finish out the season then remove him during the summer. Simple as, as far as I'm concerned.

Seems like you guys are stuck in your ways and stubbern like kenny. Look what Mike Ashley did by getting rid of Houghton and making wholesale squad changes... i remember everyone saying how much of a bad decision he had made at the time... doesnt look so bad now!

We need to face facts, we are 37 points behind United so Kenny has had enough time

Since its definitely dalglishs fault we hit the post twice. I mean come on he obviously doesnt get tactics we only dominated the entire game from the start to the end. The guys a joke stuck in the 80s. Bring in Mourinho! anti football here we come

I agree totally with the sentiment, but surely you'd have to come up with better suggestions than Benitez (going backwards) Aldridge (no experience whatsoever) AVB (not after his time at Chelsea, no chance.

More likely suggestions would be Mourinho, Guardiola, Hiddink.

But more importantly would be that FSG have to open their cheque books and nail a striker or two that gets one goal every two games - a true finisher. Maybe Gomez, Van Wolfswinkle. otherwise we'll have the same season as this, but without the cups.

Right on wide te last post 37 points behind our main rivals is just a joke. I wish we get Benitez or AVB as they are good. I have this feeling that had we got AVB at the beginning we would b 3rd as of now..His tactics suit us more than Chelski....

''we are 37 points behind United so Kenny has had enough time''

======================

So what you are saying is we need to remove him as manager immediately so we can march up the table? I think it's a bit late for that so give him the dignity he deserves to end the season!

MR EM

So cut Kenny out now and don't let him walk the team out at the cup final? Ok then! I told this page back in march Kenny won't walk from LFC again and the owner's won't move upstairs till the summer! and that's what is going to happen! Put a bet on that Rafa take's over on the 1st of June!

Houghton? I think you mean Hughton, as in Chris Hughton, his former Ireland teammate

15 months in charge 1 trophy in the bag and another on the way. Kenny is the king and will still be the king next season. Grow up guys building a team takes a bit of time and ok at the moment it aint quite right but again today they played great football we are just missing a rush/wark/alldridge/fowler/Owen/Torres type, don't lose the faith we are a lot better than our league position shows. In kenny we should all trust.

Do you honestly believe that if we had a different manager the ball would have gone in the net today, the tactics and the team were good today we just could not get it in the net, it has been like that all season, i agree and have said before that we need a striker and a winger and I am sure if Kenny thought it was best for the club he would step down.

It's amazing how some fans blindly follow Daglish. As a liverpool fan it upsets me that people are so naive to our faults. Heres our tactics, attack down the wings, double up with the fullbacks, cross the ball into the box, Carroll is either not in the box, or he misses the chance.....rinse and repeat. Get Rafa back it's the most one dimensional style i've ever seen. Get Rafa back ASAP, or AVB....anyone with a brain that can take this club forward and be successful on a continental basis. I still believe the moneyball philosophy the owners preach is part of the problem, they have to realise football is not as stagnant or regimented as baseball. Those ideologys are not as easily applied to football. {Ed001's Note - hahaha you clearly are delusional.}

I do believe that we would have scored a lot more goals if Kenny wasn't appointed because we would not have signed Carroll, Downind, Henderson and Adam..... the guys that he said he asked for when comolli was sacked last week.... so yes Kenny is soley to blame!

Interesting views. I feel we have been unlucky in the league, I mean, by the summer we will have played in to cup finals so kk must be doing something right. However our league position is appalling, I remember finishing 7th under rafa and that was awful, so considering that we are as far down as we are, it's just not acceptable. I love Kk but if he was at any club other than this, or if it was any other manager, they would have been sacked ages ago. Therefore I think that win or lose the fa cup, Kk will most likely be replaced. This is just an opinion keep in mind; I wouldn't be suprised to see fsg pay to bring in a top manager. I know baseball is different but John Henry offered manager Billy bean something like 12 mill to come to the red sox. Nobody jump of the deep in with that last comment please, just an interesting point. Lemon

Aldridge lol

Disgusting to see YO YO fans like these wanting Kenny's head....

Saw no posts like these after the FA Cup Semi Final .....We have got fans who are hypocrites....

Who's Bing?

Where any of you celebrating at the end of February? Are any of you looking forward two the game in 2 weeks? - Really you can't have your cake and eat it, awful season yes, but come on the team had given up on the league as soon as 4th become impossible and we'd secured europe next season through league cup. Two finals in his first season back, not that bad compared to where we looked 14 months ago.

hey eds/macca is it ttrue that gerrard is out for the remaining games ? and do you think gerrard will be sold ? (if that happens all liverpool supporters will be heart broken) .................RED INDIAN {Ed002's Note - Sounds like you have been listening to Twitter. There is nothing from the club on Gerrard so I don't know what the deal is. I don't see him being sold, but who knows.}

Post match int. Dalglish said its precautionary so i would expect him to feature in the final.

Gerrard signed a 'life contract' did he not?

He will see out his career at LFC, then move onto a coaching role.

22 Apr 2012 18:46:59
At least our problem is glaringly obvious?
It's not the Manager,Coaches or even the players.
We need more options upfront.
The summer we could buy Matias Suarez for 20mil and Jordan Rhodes for 8mil both goalscorers and alert and quick in the box. These 2 players are just my own personal favourites to improve the goals ratio and options to rescue games from jaws of defeat or a turn a draw in to a win. We need at least 4 players competing for the 2 places upfront.
Today we needed a goal and we brought on Downing who never even looks like scoring and Bellamy who's pace is more suited to away games and not against a packed defence where his pace is nullified.
kidmillions

I agree that we need more options up front but, jordan rhodes should not be an option. He is a league 2 striker, sure he is dominating in his league but that doesn't mean he will provide in the PL. Look at the quality of the championship in comparison to the PL, most teams that come out of it go straight back down. He should be bought by a hopefully promoted side not a side that need to win CL spots and cups every season. Better options would be strikers that have already adapted to high levels of football be it in the PL or outside.

Why would we even consider spending 20m on someone in the Belgian league!

Cause the lad is brilliant

£20m for Matias Suarez? I'm not sure we should be spending that kind of money on someone with such high risk.

Anyone i welcome to answer this (: at a maximum how much would luuk de jong coast us? {Ed002's Note - At a maximum he would cost as much as anyone is willing to pay. But work of a figure nroadly in the region of £12.65M plus agent fees and taxes.}

22 Apr 2012 18:46:43
If LFC are ever to compete, the kind of investment outlined above is exactly what needs to happen although the poster neglects to include any mention of a change of manager.Its all well and good to dismiss the above proposition as ''fantasy,rubbish and ridiculous whilst Man city and Chelsea leave us in their respective wakes.Money talks,bulls**t walks.LFC may have spent money but not enough and certainly not wisely,did any of you have the misfortune to witness today's abject performance,woeful,West Brom for f**ks sake !! B

From what I gather, we actually played very well and deserved to win - we just couldn't put the chances away. Story of the season. We don't need the £200 million investment, we need a striker to play with Suarez and Carroll.

''Deserved''? you either win or lose and we lost.What we need is a striker and two creative midfielders,Gerrard's past it,Lucas may well never fully recover so we also need two defensive midfielders.Basically all we have is the keeper,the defense,Henderson,Suarez and the youngsters.£200 mill isn't much.When you gotta break the bank you gotta break the bank,others have and have reaped the rewards.We need Messies and Roonies and Mata's and Ronaldo's all the others have and without players of that ilk we will continue to fall further and further down the European and domestic pecking orders.This is'' Liverpool'' were talking about,this is a very serious situation !! B

Yes, it is "Liverpool". Remind me again, do we possess a God-given right to win the League at the drop of a hat? And if so, why?

I was extremely pleased with the first 80 minutes of today's performance, we were far superior and had we had a bit of luck and WBA not parked the largest possible bus they could find in front of their goal we would have strolled away with 3 points. s**t happens.

I expect us to come back stronger next season and demolish these teams. Does nobody have any patience any more? We've waited 22 years for another title, does it make much difference if we wait much longer?

TSP

I watched the game and it was very frustrating, we were making all the chances but we could just not get it in the net, the way we played was correct and apart from Johnson's mistake they never really troubled the defence' i see no need for getting on Kenny's back he did not do anything wrong, we just need a striker

B you sound a bit naive to suggest that £200m will solve our problems! The right players need to be brought in, not just expensive ones. Look at Newcastle! and also let's face it we've already blown £110m on this seasons players.
I agree it's serious but let's be a little bit realistic.
Somerset red

The £200 mill would also also includes a new managers package.I agree, we must make the right signings not just spend unwisely for the sake of it,as you point out we did that last season to the tune of £110 mil.Just hypothetically though,how much do you think Rooney,Silva,Chelsea's Ramires,Valencia and Messi would cost and if it were possible do you think these players would strengthen our squad to the point were we could win next seasons PL.I
believe the moneys there and it is possible to buy success quickly whilst at the same time building for the future!! B

How can you say the performance was abject? We were all over them pretty much the whole game.
Yes the result was abject, and the forward players didn't do what they shouldve and create goals, but I think your post is pretty abject if you cant be a bit more specific and more constructive in your 'criticism'.
We were 'abject'?
You call yourself a fan? You're pathetic.

Never thought i would be saying this in my life time but toatly embaressd to be lfc suporter right now

Over the top as usuall , if we had won four or five nil like the performance deserved everyone would have been saying how good we were . its not just the strikers who miss the chances its the whole team , you say we need more creativity but carving out nearly 30 chances in 90 mins isnt bad going . i know results are what counts but are performances are much better than our league position . we have absolutely no luck in front of goal whatsoever and the bounce never goes our way . and that has been the story of our season . when our luck changes we will be destroying teams . you cant knock the players attitude and commitment , if the result had gone our way we would have been crowing about Andy Carroll as he was unplayable in the air today touch was good laying the ball off ,and fantastic work rate

I don't know how anyone who supports this club could watch that match and say that the tactics or the management of the club is seriously flawed in any way.

We need to pay the wages man city and chelsea pay in order to get the best , we had the money and we spent it on unproven players , newcastle spent close to nothing and they are now in the box seat to claim 4th place , something has to change and i hope its for the better this transfer window coming , i hope and pray we get at least 2 to 3 more players at suarez level , someone like tevez , silva , mata those kind of players are needed at anfield !!

22 Apr 2012 18:32:50
Eds any chance of Diego, he is someone with the style of play we need! Direct, skillful, assists teammates, CAN SCORE... {Ed002's Note - Try the search function or glance down the page.}

Just answer {Ed002's Note - So you don't have to make the slightest effort I guess. And the first glifnard of the day comes out to play.}

Yeah he'll be joining us in the summer along with messi and Ronaldo and maybe cavani but that's just a rumour !

Realistic ReD

22 Apr 2012 18:26:04
ED, what percentage do you think dalglish will go because this is becoming embarrasing. we are closer to the bottom than the top and the way teams have been slipping up we should be in the top 4 by now. please let me know and also what is the percentage that Adam, Downing , KUYT, mAXI wil all go to {Ed002's Note - I have given my opinion repeatedly about Dalglish and it is not going to change. I expect Maxi and Kuyt will leave - the other I don't know.}

Why is everyone having a go at Dalglish? I do not understand. We lost, it's disappointing. But for anyone who has watched the match, you could see how well we played. And it has been known for ages that we weren't going to make it in the top 6 in the league, so why is everyone calling for his head?

I rather see us play like this and lose, than win luckily. Surely if we continue to play like this we will get our reward.

And we are nearing to the final few matches of the season, and everyone knows Dalglish is likely is likely to step down after that. Why not give the him all the support he needs until he leaves. Everyone has to realise that asking for a new manager now wouldn't help our quest for the fa cup. So let's just stick together till the season ends...

STB

Couldn't agree more with STB! Wouldn't of been able to put any better myself...

Yeah... and we are one of those clubs that have been slipping up.

22 Apr 2012 18:15:09
i know everyone is saying that we are going for cavani but is this true and do you actually believe we could get him or are people being optimistic thanks! {Ed002's Note - If you are a Chelsea support or a Real Madrid supporter it is true. If you are a Liverpool supporter, sadly it is not.}

Why would he want join us when he could play for Real Madrid ?

Chelsea don't stand a chance in getting Cavani, no CL football (looks like it). {Ed002's Note - Noted.}

Dont know but thats what people kkep saying!

22 Apr 2012 17:44:56
watching A Madrid vs Valencia. Diego and Arda Turan can be our player. they are far better then any player we have now. sale in good price too but we want British talent.

hhh

Really why would they want to join a mid table club as us?
There is no way they would leave and turan has only just joined and Deigo is a trouble maker .

While your at it why not add Falco to your list?

I only hope you didn't watch Barcelona vs real Madrid else that's going to be a huge list !

Liverpool apparently bought Premier League proven quality. Where?

Buy british? what are you on about. We brought enrique, doni. Surely we would of brought baines and carson (again) if we were.

I saw that game too and Turan was brilliant at times and I thought we had a chance to sign him, he wanted to cOme and yet we missed out. And then we bought Downing. Why? {Ed002's Note - It is very simple. Liverpool did not make any offer for him.}

Hi eds, I was at the St. Patrick's Athletic against ucd match in Dublin on Friday night and there were scouts there from Liverpool and charlton. I'm not sure who they were looking at, but possibly may have been Chris Forrester? He's 19, Irish and his performance against shamrock rovers two weeks ago caught lots of people's attention, scoring two fantastic goals. Cheers,
Green red

If I was a youngster I wouldn't sign for Liverpool. You are consigned to the reserves and never given a chance in spite of the weak performances of senior players.

Have the eds heard anything about this?

Check out the goal forrest scored against Shamrock Rovers a few weeks ago, what a peach!

Overall out: £45 million
Overall in: £192 million

One way to help out the loss is the extension of Anfield. As John Henry does not want to lose the atmosphere within Anfield so he simply wants to expand it to a total of 70,000 seats to help out with money. All of the people who think that this will not come true as they think it is completely unrealistic as you think we cannot attract this calibure of player anymore, think again as all of the players that i have mentioned are interested in joining the growing "project" that is Liverpool Football Club. {Ed002's Note - Liverpool are not financially in a position to do any of this - sorry.}

Quite possibly the biggest load of rubbish I've ever read on this page.

How old are you? 5!! Go back to playing Soccer Manager. Ridiculous.

What a nut job

Chris in Tamworth

Come on eds please rumours that could possibly be true not utter fantasy-another football manager nut still a good laugh though-an funny an expansion will pay for this? expansions are free hey send them to me i could do with a garage

There is no way Liverpool will spend that much money in the summer.

I agree with some of your players that will be leaving though.

The Americans are still finding their feet at the moment, and they will have seen what we have all seen this season that the players aren't good enough to win the premier league. Not by a long way. Not even good enough to scrape into the top 4 either.

Out of our entire squad the only ones that are good enough in my opinion are:

Reina
Johnson
Kelly
Agger
Skrtel
Enrique
Suarez

Given that Kelly and Johnson play in the same position at the moment that means we have 6 players out of 11 that are good enough, albeit only in my opinion.

Lucas might play if and when he returns from injury. Who knows for sure.

Gerrard is past it, Carragher is well past it, some players aren't good enough, and some players should never ever have been signed at all.

We can either get the cheque book open and buy some players or bring the youth players in and give them a chance. or do a bit of both.

Either way we are a long way off winning the league which has to be our goal.

If we keep the same players we can expect another poor season with flat performances and home defeats to Wigan.

Don't get me wrong here, I want to see Liverpool win, and I don't want to be seen as to be on the players backs but there will be a tipping point soon.

This summer the club needs to be ruthless and get rid of a lot of players to get the wages down and the rubbish out.
I know this, you know this and the owners know this.

If we get rid of the high earners that are too old and not doing the business then the money saved can go on wages for new players.

Look at Newcastle. They got rid of all their big name players and they are doing well and playing well. They even ripped us off to the tune of £35 milion.

Whether or not we will stick with British players doesn't matter. If someone is good enough their nationality shouldn't be a problem.

Anyway I didn't intend this to be a rant and it's not meant to be. Just my thoughts on the summer activities.

Gaz1975.

And where is Steven?

Yeah very realistic, send that to john henry and tom werner's twitter account and they will buy these players..
tbh after last summer's disaster buys
i'll be happy if they give rafa even 30-40 million to start with..

You are the biggest person on this planet. i can safely say that liverpool will not sign one of them players you said and i think everyone else knows that. this is the most ridiculous post i have ever seen!

Ed's why did you even publish that post, it is nothing but complete balls

It's "fans" like him/her that are really annoying because all they do is fantasize, they don't understand how the club is ran on and off the pitch.

He sounds like he's trying to sell a story like a hopeless buffon trying to sell oxygen to the guys off Dragons den.

And now for what i think about it
M'villa will be off to Arsenal or a club in Spain or Italy

Have not got a clue where Hazard will end up IF he leaves Lille

Munain (see ed002's constant view on him)

Navas has chronic home sickness, he won't leave seville

Cavani has half the planet after him, he's more wanted then what Bin Laden was haha

Damiao has the pick of most of the top clubs

Rossi is injured for 6 months

Tiote won't leave Newcastle especially if they get in the champions league

Bellamy won't leave this summer, he'll leave the one after

Shelvey has a shed load of potential

Carroll won't leave unless somebody put's in a really good offer

It is impossible for Anfield to expand to 70,000 capacity

You think Liverpool would get all of those players for 192 million? wake up, that's over 250 million's worth of talent

And you think we'd get £45 million by selling those players, ha we'd be lucky to get £15 million

Wake up and get a grip, this isn't fifa or football manager, it's reality something which you can't quite seem to grasp

Dan (Yeah i actually sign off with my name) {Ed002's Note - Well Dan, it remains an open forum and whilst some fantasy posts end up on ther pages some Eds do let the occasional one through to generate some discussion. However, I pretty much agree with all of your summary. You have a great evening.}

Where is Stevie g in all this?

Stick to playing football manager what a stupid fantasy post. There is no way on earth they would want to join a mid table club,get realistic!

Did this guy just copy and paste his Football Manager squad?

Jeez people, relax and let the guy have his opinion. Its a pity we cant do any of this because were in great danger of getting sucked into a mid table mentality. Wasnt too long ago these players would have been realistic.

I understand that the original posters views are not those of others and are more wishful thinkings than possible eventualities, but dont all jump on his
back because of it, he has dreams and ambitions for our club just like the rest of us, maybe his are out of reach for the club at the moment, but he is a supporter, which is better than nothing.

Anfield Andy

"Atmosphere in Anfield" Have you been to a game recently. The atmosphere in Anfield is terrible. Once maybe twice a game you might hear all round the fields of Anfield road and the obligatory You'll Never Walk Alone at the start of the game. Other than that you can hear a pin drop. The Kop is silent and the away fans at pretty much every chant "Where's your famous atmosphere" Its embarassing

with gerrad hamstring gone again will liverpool look to replace him in the summer great player but you cant get a full season and how is the most likely to replace him thank ed {Ed001's Note - Shelvey.}

Is Gerrard out injured? The commentator said he was rested.

Lol at you edd

22 Apr 2012 15:16:20
Hey Eds Macca,

Maybe Gerrard will be off in the summer..

Big changes??

Thatracoonstolemybacon

Do we know why gerrard isnt playing? 2 games in a row

No rafa and his whole staff would be coming back ..that would be the change..

Gerrard still our best midfielder, Fact.The only one to create anything he cant do it all himself anymore...

Can we please have a summer where gerrards future at the club is not in doubt kenny said he was left out as a precaution lets leave it at that.

22 Apr 2012 14:49:30
Hoilett would be a great signing to liverpool he has everything we need. Im not sure about Doyle but Albrighton is decent.

22 Apr 2012 13:57:36
The reliable The Times have reported that LFC will have around 20-30£m plus sales to spend in the summer. Do you know if that's true or will we get more? 20-30£m is not much at all...

The reliable journalists Ben Smith (BBC) & Tony Evans (The Times) are both saying that Kenny will stay. What's tour comment about that, do you think they are wrong?

Yes I do think they are wrong because 99% of the time Journalists are wrong.

They are not as reliable as you might think. I remember in the summer them saying that we wouldn't buy anyone else and then we signed coates and bellamy. I would trust the ed's over them, they called stuff like merieles leaving ages before any journalists new

There is no such thing as a reliable paper and certainly no such thing as a reliable reporter. They are all liars trying to sell the most papers. as i understand it, we pick our targets and Board decide if it is financially viable. We don't use a "budget"

How many times ? lfc do not have a set transfer budget !! as for kd stating we'll see, i personally don't think he will

Tony Evans 'reliability' regarding what is going to happen at LFC will always be tempered by his 'inside knowledge' of the Kenny Huang takeover as well as his forecasting that we were stuck with Hicks and Gillett and the club were going down. We were sold not long after that prediction. He gets to find out what is going on granted, but when it comes down to it, he is never brave enough until long after the fact before he lets little bits of info filter out.

All we need is a 30mil striker to put ball in net

Look what Newcastle got for that money!!.

In their blogs etc, Evans and Barrett have basically said that our future under FSG is looking really grim.
20m doesnt even cover their profits from Mereiles sale and wages pocketed.
Kenny is overperforming with the miserly sell to buy budget that the Yanks forced on him. They need to keep their silly Soccernomics ( and themselves!)out of football

22 Apr 2012 13:06:16
eds who is dan smith?. It seems we have signed him..any truth in it..

Pankaj {Ed002's Note - Try the search function.}

A crewe academey player

Don't answer people who are too lazy to use the search function!

Yes would have been easyer to say ed {Ed002's Note - So you think "yes" is a good answer to a question that asks "who is"?}

22 Apr 2012 12:56:20
eds does dalglish possibly going have any impact on saurez staying {Ed002's Note - You probably do not want to open the subject of my views on Suarez going again.}

Liverpool in talk with nk zagreb, regarding a double swoop for captain Milan Badelj and rb Sime Vrsaljko... I can not name the source unfortunatly, but is higly reliable... Not sure how far they have come in negotiation nor the demands from zagreb, just wanted to let u eds know, if this isnt allready old news for you... Cheers

Can you sign your posts with an alias so I can keep tabs a bit? :) thanks

JanBorman

Sure JanBorman, it's DamienComi

I can ofc do that jan.... But like i said, i couldnt get anymore info about stage of negotiation, just that LFC has contacted NKZ... I am afraid though, its gonna be though to get them, specially Vrsaljko seem to iterrest many parties... Cheers. Scouty

You can't name your sources ? i wonder why ? harvey the rabbit maybe ? or someoen "in the know" , i smell b**l

I love these two players, and i think would strenghten the team..Vrsaljko can also play rw... And imagine how annoying it would be for other teams with lucas and Badelj as central holding midfielders... Sounds almost too good...

Info came from family of someone in LFC scouting staff, therefor u should understand i cant put his name on this page... I dont really know why i posted in first place, i just got a bit carried away and couldnt keep my mouth shut.... I got hold of my guy after i posted and seems NKZ i prizing Vrsaljko much higher than liverpool at a fantasy figure around 20m... He also had the understanding that Badelj had some sort of interrest in liverpool if an agreement was to be made... Im not gonna have a flame war with all u cavani, hazard, di maria and messi fans this was my first and last post... Cheers Scouty

Now there's a terrific scrabble score

I'll tell you all again. Welcome back Rafa.

DaveyBootle

Davey bootle what have you heard?

gee man

What have you heard Davey?

He hasn't heard anything it's his opinion

Welcome back to boring and dire football filled with fantastic defensive tactics, then.

Hope so

Welcome back boring and dire football , what are you talking about under Rafa we got our highest points total , beat amongst others Real Madrid 4-0 and were in 2 Champions League finals and won one

Rafa devides opinion, but he kept the team afloat even with two US prats owning the club, and a Chief Exec who thought he knew which players the club needed better than the manager.
Yes he made some crap signings but he also hit gold with, Torres, Alonso, Skrtel, Agger, Mashcaraino, Arbriloa, Kuyt, Johnson, Reina and Lucas.

He also won trophies, went to two Champions League Finals, and got us to second in the league.

I think he has unfinished buisness at Liverpool!!

How well might he have done with decent owners and full backing, instead of having to spend time fighting internal battles.
And before I hear but look at the type of football we played under Rafa, have we done so well in the Prem the last 18 months, have we played wonderful flowing football, and look at the signings, would you prefer Adam or Alonso.

Rafa deserves another chance with proper backing.

I give it 6 months before you lot start calling for Rafa to be sacked.

Rafa in charge with 100M is not only good enough for us to win anybody. It is good enough to win ANYTHING!!. I would rather have Rafa's 1 milllion signings out of which 5-7 become great than Kenny's 5 signings who are all crap.

I bet Arbeloa must be worth three quarters of what we paid for Downing. After all he is now the regular Left Back along with the emering Jordi Alba.

If Rafa was still here with these new managers, we would have seen a three horse race between LFC, Man City and Man Utd. I PUT THE WHOLE UNIVERSE ON THIS!!.

Kenny is as clueless as a neanderthal trying to blow a light bulb in managing but he was a great player...

Bit harsh on Kenny there. He deserves criticism perhaps for a number of his signings but as the football goes, we have played some of our best attacking football since the days if Fowler, McManaman etc and had he boxed clever in the Summer and not become so embroiled in the proven British players philosophy and shopped cleverly in Europe for the financial equivalents of Downing, Henderson and Carroll, we would not be languishing in the position we are now. Kenny is a great man, whose exploits in red and whose total dedication to our cause should never ever be sold short by fans no matter how frustrated we become. But you are judged on your results and the Premier league is the bread and butter so at some point, he will be held accountable, if the decision hasn't already been made.

Please give rafa another chance

I would have rafe back in the blink of an eye. but i also respect kenny hugely and would not want to be disrespectful to him. maybe even he would admit rafa is the best tactician we have had in the last two decades

Should never have left 2 champions league finals an a second place by 2 points agains a man u side tht had rooney ronaldo an teves and we still sacked him because we finnished 6 in a bad season an handed him no funds. i would take 6th next season an be happy because it seams to me that man city have taken our spot at the top an we have taken there spot in the bottom ten raffa back would be a master stroke by the new owners an a big 2 fingers to the old owners who sacked him

"Kenny is as clueless as a neanderthal trying to blow a light bulb in managing but he was a great player..."

Wow how stupid was he this bad when he took over last season? We arent where we want to be but to call a legend of the club a "neanderthal" go support man city

"I would rather have Rafa's 1 milllion signings out of which 5-7 become great than Kenny's 5 signings who are all crap."
----------------------------------------
There used to be a saying that Liverpool fans were the most knowledgable in football. Unfortunately clowns like you are laying that to rest. Did you include Suarez in your "all crap" rant? Let's be honest if I made a million signings like you say Rafa did, I bet I could find 6 or 7 gems.

He actually signed 76 players and those type of stats make no financial sense with a success rate of less than 8% per signing.

Rafa will turn out to be a plastic messiah if he comes back to LFC. Fans will turn against him before Christmas when we're midtable and he is whinging about having no money to compete with the Manchester clubs, the London clubs and Newcastle and playing football comparable to pub teams.

Who does he work for at the minute btw? Why is that?

To the guy above! Rafa much better manager than Kenny simple as that! If Kenny was not a legend would he still be in-charge of Liverpool? NO Kenny should resign for the good of LFC

Two main positions we need to cover this summer are RW and ST. After that, cover any positions left by departures ie Maxi, Aurelio & Doni (probable), Kuyt (possible).

For me,

RW - Marc Albrighton. Aston Villa have struggled this season, and would be great to pinch him. 22, bags of talent, fast, skillful and English. Fit's the policy. Villa would be very reluctant to sell, but if we could get him on a reasonable fee, I think that would be ideal.

ST - Kevin Doyle. Wolves are almost certain to go down. Too good for championship, under rated, could pinch him on the cheap. 28, so not young, but has important experience. Linked with him last year, would be a good fox in the box that we have desperately needed this year. Not a long term solution, but one that will suffice for now.

The reason I suggest these two players is because we aren't in a position anymore to go after the worlds best players. We can't attract Fernando Llorente or Falcao or players of that exotic calibre and stature. We only have history on our side, we can't promise title challenges or even champions league, and we can't promise the best wages, so we have to buy sensibly and realistically.

It's high time we stopped making a fool of ourselves in the transfer market, it's becoming a joke. We have bought too carelessly. The players are good enough, just not suffice to their price tag.

If Maxi and Kuyt both left, (and I for one hope Kuyt stays, but Maxi looks set to go), Hoilett would be ideal to fill these voids as he can play out wide and up front, similarly to both of these players. If Blackburn go down, we could get him for a good price.

I'm always staggered when I read Kevin Doyle's name put forward. Nice guy, decent player (at the right level) not even close to being good enough for any team wanting to play in Europe

Chris in Tamworth

I do agree that doyle and albrighton are great talents but albrighton will cost a lot of money (unless villa go down) so it will be more cost effective to get a better player for roughly the same price. id also rather keep kuyt then buy doyle. i dont think the buy british policy exists as the eds have said enriqe coates suarez etc. arent british.another thing is that we cannot attract the best strikers in the world but we can attract really good top players with a much higher caliber than doyle and albrighton.
derryred

No, if we get those two - we'll go even further midtable.

Hoillets on a free in the summer. no one cares where blackburn finish

And you think we WOULDN'T be making a fool of ourselves in the transfer market if we go for kevin doyle

Wow lets buy another second rate english player, for top money.
What a good idea!!

I'm an Ireland supporter and have to agree with Chris that Kevin Doyle is not the answer for Liverpool. His age and his lack of pace certainly would not make him a viable option. He is a whole-hearted player who gives his all but so does Dirk Kuyt and we're apparently willing to let him go.

22 Apr 2012 12:21:29
hey ed do you think there is a small possibility of jose mourhino coming to Liverpool? {Ed002's Note - I depends how you define "small"? Do you have an electron microscope?}

Lollllll

What about the god particle ed?

gee man
{Ed002's Note - Lederman's book? I never read it. I recall him doing a guest lecture or two at Berkeley when I was there.}

If the universe is the answer,What is the question. Yes that ed

gee man

LOOOOOL

The answer is 42 isn't it?

If you know football then we need him,if you haven't got a clue about the game then we dont!!

Hope its no chance dont like him 1 bit rafa please

Mourinho has just recently signed a contract keeping him there till 2014 and it gives him even more power at the club
S

22 Apr 2012 12:08:59
Yo, any interest in Sime Vrsaljko from Dinamo Zagreb, hes a very good RB {Ed002's Note - Manchester City and Roma are interested.}

22 Apr 2012 11:59:03
just wondering eds. why do so many people want modric? this season 22 apps 4 goals 6 assists. yet spurs were top 3? and we have charlie adam who has 27 apps 2 goals and 8 assists. if you ask me id take adam and for 6 million we would have to consider saying we got a bargain if modric go's to united for 40million. just wondering your thoughts! {Ed002's Note - I don't think there is too much desire for Modric from Liverpool fans.}

Probably because Liverpool fans are sensible!

I think we'd all jump at Modric if we thought we had a chance Ed!

Is the OP Kenny Dalglish?

Modric is infinitely better than Adam just that they want 40m

I never said we wanted him. im merely comparing the two so some would just stop slagging adam and look at modric. THEY ARE COMPARABLE

22 Apr 2012 11:52:50
Sky reporting Dalglish give a
statement that it has been an honour to
manage Liverpool again and he will have no
regrets if he were sacked in the summer? Eds what it means reply plz... {Ed002's Note - It is pretty much self explanatory. You all know my view on what I expect to happen so there is no point dragging it up again.}

22 Apr 2012 11:50:29
I have been told that there are going to be big big changes at the end of the season..

Does this mean the end for Kenny?

Are the owners going to start flexing their muscles?

Cheers

Macca {Ed002's Note - Before anyone asks, this is the real DNA tested Macca.}

Thanks for the insight.
Roll on the end of the season.

Hmm interesting if its true. It could be an entire management change, or it could be a lot of money to spend. It shall be interesting. Cheers Macca.
KiwiRed

Macca or eds from this info given do you expect kenny to go at the end of the season {Ed002's Note - I expect that Dalglish will move on at the end of the season - as is subject to regular discussion.}

Johan cryuff for manager....

Macca i m from india and i want to ask you whether you think Pep should be our new manager?This is gr8 site as people like you and ed's give us valuable information much before time.
Indian Rajiv

Thanks macca,I just seen kennys comment on sky sports and to me if kenny stays or leaves im grateful for his time and effort he has giving the club. But i would like him to have a good crack a getting this club back to where he thinks we should be and thats the best.

gee man

Macca, do YOU really think Kenny will not be manager next season? I desperately hope he is myself.

Thanks for your info.

Simsimo

Thanks macca. Would love rafa back, but i have a feeling fsg have other plans. Hope the king goes out with a bang, and brings the fa cup back to anfield.

How can they ask kenny to step aside if he wins the fa cup we have been very unlucky in the league and i hope he is given longer myself and if we sell luis the club is going backwards

I think the owners have been quietly overseeing their first proper season in charge and it is no surprise that they aren't afraid of acting if things didn't go in line with their expectations.

It's been a mixed season on the pitch and an awful season off it. The combination of (1) being so far away from champions league (2) the handling of the Suarez case, i think will be key factors in seeing Kenny no longer in charge and Ian Ayre must be fearing for his job.

FSG have clearly stated in the past that the Arsenal model is something they admire and therefore David Dein has to be someone who is part of their thinking.

Re. Kenny, I think he will go respectfully, which is what he fully deserves. Louis Van Gaal is experienced and AVB may be a darkhorse.

This isn't based on any inside knowledge but the signs are starting to come out.

Thanks for the info macca, im hoping that kenny stays and if he does leave a real world class manager must come. we know the five staff members will be replaced. hopefully big money will be spent on bringing that extra bit of quality into the squad.
cheers derryred

Tell us something we dont already know

Thanks for the info Macca.
It sounds pretty drastic, and it has to be either Ian Ayre or Kenny if it's that big, or maybe even both.

If Kenny is going to be moved on, I hope they can win the cup and end his LFC management career on a high.

If Kenny goes and Rafa is not a viable option, I hope we bring in Michael Laudrup.

Cheers Macca,
The king will move upstairs so, the question will b who is coming in and with that his own transfer budget n players. Macca already stated that we are stayin at Anfield.
Cheers
"theoriginalfowlerisgod

As usual cheers Macca, I always look out for your input especially in these uncertain times.

I think that's very good news, about time they impose their stamp on the club without any media or fans influence or the influence of the advisers who failed them in the past.

It would be very sad to see Kenny go, I hope it's done with dignity and not some PR tricks. But I think it's the right decision, this club needs to go forward and fast and it's possible. Newcastle progress is a damning indictment of our failings this season.

Just like Comolli, given his mistakes this season I don't see Kenny as the man suitable to execute their vision for the club, playing youth and buying undervalued players. We've done anything except that this summer and season.

Anyway I just hope they'll make the right moves whatever they may be.

By "big big changes", i think Macca means there's gonna be a squad overhaul with players leaving and a lot of coaches will leave
Probably a new director of football and head scout with other scouts as well
Wouldn't be surprised if David Dein was given a role within the club

Dan

Macca's comment plus Kenny's comment makes it increasingly obvious Kenny will not be manager next season. And I suspect Ian Ayre will be out or demoted. Dein or someone else will run the club.

"Overhauing the squad" is impractical, and probably unnecessary.

Cheers macca . would like to see clarke stay at the club any news on that. cheers psv

22 Apr 2012 11:46:41
Young fast plays on the left side skill full can cross only 15 mil jordi alba from velencia and also piatti is quick don't no if for sale 25 mil cud snap them both up {Ed002's Note - There is interest in Alba from Barcelona and speculation only about interest from the Manchester based clubs. Chelsea and AC Milan both made speculative enquiries about Alba before the January window. I would hazard a guess he could spend his near-term career in Spain - certainly he could well worry about the impact on his international prospects. Staying at Valencia another year is a perfectly possible outcome as is a deal to involve a Barcelona player going on loan as part of the package - perhaps Tello.}

22 Apr 2012 11:40:00
are Liverpool still looking at the young dutch foward who play's for inter or has interest waned since jan. i think LFC are looking at exciting young talent, who don't cost us a fortune in transfers or wages.
come on the reds today, hope sterling is on the bench.
LEP1972 {Ed002's Note - I think it would have been no more than a loan for Luc Castaignos and I expect that the option not to be there in the summer.}

22 Apr 2012 10:44:08
Hi Eds ,A while back Rodwell seemed to be the next big thing and a few big clubs were showing interest .namely man u ,I know he has had an injury this season and has not been playing ,Has liverpool ever showed any interest or have any interest in him ? Have seen him play and in my opinion looked a great prospect ,maybe a long term replacement for gerrard ? cheers eds {Ed002's Note - Liverpool have not shown interest and Rodwell will almost certainly not leave over the summer whilst he remains injured.}

22 Apr 2012 10:41:09
Seems we're approaching that time of the year when everyone starts talking about COMPLETELY unrealistic targets. The win against Everton has at least reduce the negativity around here.

My predictions...

ONE big name MAY leave (Johnson, Reina or Suarez -most likely Johnson)

Big earners will be moved on as part of the strategy to reduce the bloated wage bill. KUYT, COLE, AQUILANI, AURELIO and MAXI will leave with a small amount of cash coming in for them but something like 20 million coming off the wage bill.

That will leave us replacing a big name (possibly), and signing a wide right player, a striker and a creative/goalscoring midfielder.

Most of these players will be under 23 and on half the wages of the players they replace.

There'll be no CAVANI/MUNIAIN or LLORENTE.

Downing will be much better next year, so will Carroll and Suarez and give Adam a chance - until Lucas got injured he looked OK and we had a nice balance.

Get behind the team and have some faith.

PieInTheSkyMan

Adam Johnson in

Agree with u mostly except charlie adam..
he is too slow and self centered & except those fancy inaccurate 40 yards passes once in a while, offers pretty much nothing..not even his dead ball situation deliveries have been good by his otherwise high standards..
for 6 million though he was never overpriced and we should sell him and bring younger players for the future..

There will be no space for adam and carroll in the team, the new manager will want better, thanks for sounding like you have inside info pieinthesky but this is simple pie in the sky. Well done anyway.RedTurk

The word prediction was the key one RedTurk but thanks for replying !

Diego of wolfsberg will leave on free transfer. He was previously linked with us . What is the current sittuation eds? {Ed002's Note - He remains a significant nuisance to anyone who employs him. Sporting Lisbon, Galatasaray, Botofogo, Lazio have previously shown an interest in Diego and, as you say, he will be available this summer.}

You do realise Diego already left Wolfsberg last summer, and went to Atletico Madrid.
{Ed002's Note - He is only in Madrid on loan. The third club to kick him out.}

Ed 002 definitely does not like Diego. Is he also a nuisance to Atletico because he seems to be having a pretty good season there with no hassle whatsoever. Mind boggles at ED 02 and his agenda against this player. {Ed002's Note - Diego has been thrown out by three clubs and you want to have a go at me.}

Eds all reds my opinion of deigo is , good enough to take the risk , cheap enough not to worry to much, who knows , might just settle down , maybe lucas would help. certainly think those two samba boys could click steviep48

22 Apr 2012 10:13:20
Hi Eds, are we actually considering Kalou or is it just newspaper talk? {Ed002's Note - It is difficult to say but I am not aware of any interest. The only interest we are aware of in Kalou had been from Turkey and, of course, Liverpool cannot approach the player just yet.}

If we sign Kalou I will bang my head against a wall harder and longer than Hodge Podge did

I would not have a problem with kalou.... if he comes as more of a squad player on low wages. which wont happen lets be honest. he will want first team and money

Hi guys

A few stories you will be reading this week!

Pep Guardiola has told his president he will leave Barca at the end of the season even if they get to the CL final. He plans to take sometime off so don't think he will become Liverpools manager.

TheInsider

Pep has decided that Barca will not play outside Europe for next pre-season, so I doubt he will be leaving

According to the Telegraph, he has made no decision. And I doubt he has sole power to decide where Barca play pre-seasons.

Eds, with Napoli inevitably finishing outside the Champions league places do you think its possible we could snare one of their front three. I know Cavani has been coveted by Madrid, its more Lavezzi i'm interested in. I think partnering him with Suarez/Carrol could be a mouth watering prospect. Also he can play down the flanks. Is it a possibility, do we have any firm interest? Thanks El Pistolero {Ed002's Note - {Ed002's Note - There is interest in Levezzi from several clubs including Manchester City, Chelsea, Juventus, Zenit, PSG and particularly AC Milan. I think it would take a very high offer - more than 30M euros, some trading or a third-party ownership deal bid to get Napoli to sell the player and I think the player himself is reasonably happy where he is right now so he is not certain to move. However, he is unwilling to extend his existing contract which runs to 2015 and Napoli will let him go if an attractive deal is put to them.}

Why would you want Levezzi? We need a goal scoring machine, Suarez has scored more goals than him this season.

Hi eds heard a few rumours recently, most have been asked on here so I wont bore you, but two who I haven't heard on here is firstly felipe melo of juve, who is on loan at galatasary at the moment. Very experienced midfielder and could do a job for liverpool? The other rumour is angel di Maria of Madrid, there will b competition for his signature, but Liverpool apparently is an possible destination for the Madrid midfielder who finds himself out of favour. And ed this is just a view, but would you agree if I suggested we buy an experienced full back, like zambrotta for a year to do right back, so Martin Kelly can further mature, and also to give young full backs like flanno and Ryan McLaughlin to improve further? Thanks eds doing a great job on here {Ed002's Note - I don't see Melo as a likely purchase, nor do I see Angel Di Maria moving to Liverpool. We know that there has been interest in a right sided defender but I doubt that buying someone for the very short term is likely.}

The Felipe Melo rumour was done to death 18 months ago. He was not a considered option then and that has not changed. He is a poor man's Lucas who could not cut it at Juve, that's why he is on loan.

Man City is the most likely destination for Di Maria which will probably free up Adam Johnson. As for Zambrotta....what age is he? By the time that he adjusted to the EPL John Flanagan would be due a testimonial.

Ed how do you know about transfers and who do you think we will sign in the summer? {Ed002's Note - I think at the moment it is quite difficult to predict who will sign. We know that interest exists in certain players, but we know that there are changes happening with the management of the club.}
