Hi All,

Interesting times ahead.

I believe that there have been talks with one manager who is on a sabbatical, early stages i know, and it isn't Klopp.

Cheers

Macca

Come on Macca - a bit more. Otherwise the I might think the American dream of Klinsmann is what you are talking about.

Could it even be Laudrup getting a go ?

The obvious and the hope points towards Carlo ancelotti or even Biesla - the man that gave Brendan a winning formula!

But knowing our luck it will be know one we want on this website.

Please say avb has a job

AVB has a job
Pako (my choice) has a job
Harry Redknapp was having a knee op Essex 😄
Carlo was having a back operation I think.

Here's a name : Guus Hiddink 😎

Hope it's not Neil Warnock 😀

Thanks for the information Macca. If LFC are talking, early stages I know, then it is a very clear sign that they too have lost confidence in Rodgers.

Biesla would be a terrible choice because he cannot be reasoned with, and he doesn't speak English. If things don't go the way as he wants, he just quits or threatens to quit. People should search on how he has treated his employers in the past and aFSG will not stand for his whims.

I suspect it is someone with a lot of experience. Almost certainly Ancelloti, in my opinion.

Fits the bill to a T. Prem experience, fluent in English, North American connections (wife).

22 Sep 2015 08:05:15
Wasnt it hiddink who said he didn't want to manage at club level in the future, only at international level?
Ancelotti would be a wise and capable head, but I also think I remember Ed002 saying in early summer that ancelotti to lfc would be very unlikely- although its possible the situation could have changed since then?

Agree4 Disagree0

22 Sep 2015 08:17:54
i doubt ancelotti would be interested, when he'll get bettere offers

Agree1 Disagree1

22 Sep 2015 08:20:16
It has to be Ancelotti. I'm sure the owners choice would be experience combined with a manager who has won stuff. More respect from current players and ability to attract quality names.
If it's not Carlo then Hiddink or Laudrup?

Without providing a name this info is as useful as teets on a bull. It only serves for idol speculation and people having yet another thing to hound the eds over to provide a name.

Eds fellow reds, just read that some fans are dressing up as klopp for villa game. hope FSG watch. On a serious note, I've looked at our next 6 premier league games and can't see us getting any more than 4 points.

Will be lucky to get 1 point against villa then nothing till Newcastle game will be in the bottom 3 by 2nd week of October. i love lfc but this is the worst set up I've ever seen .

rodgers buys good players then makes them play totally different to there previous teams. terrible coach and think his man management skill are failing now as well. players are struggling.

Some fans are embarrassing our club at the moment unfortunately, yesterday's performance was very encouraging.

Hi mate what was encouraging about scrapping a draw against a newly promoted team at home .no disrespect to Norwich or there fans but will the likes of Spurs Everton West Ham struggle against them .highly unlikely .but yes your right the encouraging part of yesterday is that we only conceded one .time to wake up mate ,we are one of the worst teams in the league as things stand .

Mighty red - with all due respect to them, it was only Norwich fella. And that's what everyone said after the Arsenal game.

Agree9 Disagree0

22 Sep 2015 08:58:43
I agree with Mighty Reds slightly - let's not shy away that things are obviously not looking great just at the moment BUT everything has a process - To score more goals we need to create opportunities and i thought we created more than enough opportunities against Norwich to score 4 or 5 so now its about getting these boys having the confidence to put the ball in the back of the net - We always have to try and find positives lads

22 Sep 2015 10:07:29
You Reds need to get behind BR instead of berating him and have you'll forgot about hodgson's team?

Agree1 Disagree7

22 Sep 2015 11:32:15
Disagree. Bad results over a long period of time. He's got more than three seasons and still hasn't put a cohesive style or team together. Look at Real Madrid. Ancelotti won them the champions league and copa del rey and still got fired after getting 92 points the following season. THAT is ambition. Ambition is what Liverpool need.
