Shelvey to West Ham 7M

Believable11 Unbelievable65

If BR can buy Coutinho for just £1m more than he sells Shelvey for, then we really are going places!

Agree0 Disagree0

I doubt it! why would we sell a promising talent

Agree0 Disagree0

Let's face it that's a position where we have a huge surplus. If we had to get rid of one of Henderson, Shelvey and Suso then Jonjo would definitely be my choice.

ChrisE

Agree0 Disagree0

One guys promising talent, is another guys hopeless donkey
Passing`s erratic, constantly has the mid back tracking from his errors, the ability to miss the target with either foot weekly or when given game time, and the unenviable talent of getting smaller when he jumps for the ball
Take the money

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure about this, although iv read about this in a number of sites.
Jonjo is a huge talent with a lot of potenial. he has a lot to learn so my only guess if he does leave it will be on loan.

JME

Agree0 Disagree0

I despise seeing his name on the teamsheet. Take the £7m and run.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd rip their arm off

Agree0 Disagree0

I like Jonjo and you can see his desire to succeed and do his best. I think he gets over anxious and this has got worse since he has slipped down the order and resulted in some really poor performances. I would be tempted to loan for a year.

Is there any possibility of Benteke becoming available this summer and if so do you believe Liverpool would be interested? {Ed002's Note - Yes and I doubt it.}

Believable8 Unbelievable30

He will cost a fortune. lambert said he is worth 30 million and villa are hard to deal with. Mark

Agree0 Disagree0

Im sure genuine interest may unsettle the player. surely the opportunity to fight for champions league is going to be attractive than fighting for another relegation freight.

Agree0 Disagree0

This would be a similar experience to the Torres 1. If Suarez goes then we will go for benteke, pay top price and we will have to see if it pays off. don't see him as a BR player personally but maybe

Hi ed, you'll probably think this is a daft question but.
If a manager decides he wants to sell a player, how does he let the other clubs know this player is up for sale? Is there like a transfer list or is it more complex? Cheers. {Ed002's Note - Not daft at all. They do two things (A) The player's agent will be informed. (B) Then they place an ad in the Echo - "Donkeys for sale, call 0151 263 2361".}

Agree0 Disagree0

Well if you did you would have noticed its the main number for Liverpool footbal club lol

Agree0 Disagree0

22 May 2013 07:47:32
Just dialled that number and it says there are about 6-7 Donkeys for sale and one about 95 certain to be sold this summer. How true is this ED?

Agree0 Disagree0

Lmao to the Chelsea fan above, agreed with all your drivel of what we have not achieved that your club have, but if you use a geranium of the ability of your brain, you would realize that your club have more financial muscle to attract star players than our LFC. Also, it amazes me that Chelsea with all its stars ends finishing 3rd to a Utd team (who as much as I hate) contains players who are not at an elite level as Chelseas!#. I mean come on, 70M spent just to get Torres to score what, 15 goals?. Of LF had Mata, Hazard and Oscar playing in behind Suarez, we would be challenging for the title and not dilly dallying around 3-5th spot!. I rest my case

Alay

Agree0 Disagree0

Lmao Liverpool spent more then anyone two seasons ago what was it 100 mil downing, henderson, carrol lol yet same old drival about chelsea spending money, chelsea played 15 games more then any other prem team this year with a small squad what's your excuse lol. living off ya history while we create it and that is a FACT.

If the Echo is right and Liverpool are trying 2 get papadopoulos For 12 Million, We Could Potentially Get Him, Llori and Toure all for the Carroll Fee, could be some Nice Business by us. concon

Agree0 Disagree0

The fee has been agreed but carroll isn't sure of the move I really hope he does go though I actually like him but doesn't seem to fit in rodgers plans

Agree0 Disagree0

Andy will definitely go! Rodger's made it clear that he doesn't/didn't want him at the club, irrespective of what he may have said to the contrary. Andy isn't prepared to stay at the club to play third, fourth or even fifth fiddle.

The fee will only be between £10 to £12 Million pounds, Papadopoulos, if Schalke let him go will cost £15 Million+, Llori probably up to £4 Million, and Toure "free". so we will have to find £££'s from somewhere

Agree0 Disagree0

Genuinely wish the best for the lad. IMO slightly harshly treated but never said a bad word against us and this will give everyone a chance to move one. Also great timing with it being done so early

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope the transfer goes through ASAP. The fee of 15m should be spent of strengthening the defence. Toure for experience and papodopolous for his potential should do the job.

YNWA

Agree0 Disagree0

Wish the lad all the best, sorry to see him leave & still think he would & could do a better job for us than Borrini especially against some of the cloggers (Stoke etc). So far he showed class & not said a bad thing about the club. So far.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whatever happens, Andy Carroll is a good player. I still believe that he can cut it but as an impact player fr bench and if he did show form, there is no reason he won't start games. This is my opinion.

Ed, what's the latest on Suarez, do you think he'll leave or stay, which is more likely? {Ed002's Note - I can't say which is more likely, but much depends on the offers made by a number of interested clubs.}

Believable4 Unbelievable22

Ed. It's unlikely he will leave by the current looks of things.

Agree0 Disagree0

Im not one in the know. blah de blah de blah, however Suarez is not leaving, his wife is preggas as I saw the main man himself in the L'pool womens hospital (FMU ward) on Monday and I overheard the nurse tell them both that she will see them back again in 6 weeks time, I know things can change quickly in football, but not when kids are involved, so I believe he is staying put!

All true, because I was there with my own missus

Hopefully not, best player in the league by a country mile, selling would be crazy. Have we learnt from our past?

21 May 2013 16:22:01
Again, had it confirmed that Asmir Begovic is our number 1 target to replace Reina IF he leaves.

Believable20 Unbelievable23

Agree0 Disagree0

22 May 2013 00:25:51
You only "confirm" stuff that other people or sources have already stated. First Reina and Suarez which were both first in Macca's posts. Then Begovic which was first on some bosnian paper.

Hey ed002! With this report emerging do you think Liverpool is interested in Begovic again? Maybe we're willing to pay more for Begovic with Reina looking likely to leave. Cheers, Scouserseb {Ed002's Note - It would make sense as he is leaving and the intended move to MU will probably not happen. Liverpool previously baulked at the price; maybe that can be resolved.}

Enrique offered to clubs in spain.

Believable21 Unbelievable53

Kelly RB. Johnson LB. Toure and Agger CB

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope not! been a beast for us all season, undoubtedly one of our best players and we need him to do the same for many seasons to come. He plays consistently well in a position which had been a problem for a long time before he arrived, so why would we get rid of him?

Agree0 Disagree0

No senior lb to cover, outside of barca, real and maybe athletico the Spanish teams are struggling for money. He may well be available but not now.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd be very surprised if we were able to find another LB who'd be as good as Enrique was this season. We already have enough changes at the back with Carra retiring, selling Skrtel and Reina possibly going (Coates doesn't count he's hardly played).

Prone to the odd defensive error but makes up for it going forward. Look at Man City they just gave Clichy a new contract and they can afford to go get the best left backs available. There's hardly anything between Clichy and Enrique, we should be happy he's had a much improved season. Competition to keep him on his toes yes but sell him, definitely not.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why on earth would we do that? Man, I don't understand why some people slate him. He is the best left back we have had in about forever.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont understand. why some people hates Enrique. he's one of our best player!

Agree0 Disagree0

Rubbish. Enrique is going nowhere this summer.

The real AG

He should stay, its a no-brainer! Hope LFC aren't wasting time trying to find a replacement!

Luis Suarez has renewed his box at Anfield. Hopefully a clear indication that he has no intentions to leave.

Believable53 Unbelievable4

Cheers Jonjo seems as you know this, what's the chances of you going in the summer?

intitiwetrust

Agree0 Disagree0

What does renewing your box mean?

Agree0 Disagree0

He isn't leaving anyway

Agree0 Disagree0

Right from jay78's twitter, well done.

Agree0 Disagree0

Unfortunately, Shelvey is a possibility to leave. Personally, I think he is a great player with desire and has excellent attacking capabilities for a young player.

However, the management thinks that he has certainly not performed as well as he could have this season, and I do agree to some extent.

If it was up to me, I would give him another year, or maybe send him out on loan for half a season and see if he reaches his potential, which we all know that he has. Unfortunately it isn't up to me, but I hope the management realise that Jonjo has a lot of potential.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is crap, he does not own a box why would he? He uses one of the several the club has for families and injured players.

Agree0 Disagree0

He doesn't "own" a box so you are sort of right. He does however pay (out of his own money) to rent a box. The box in question is the second along from the Anfield Rd end, which is where he was sat on Sunday and where his wife sits every game. This is why he always runs that side when he scores at the Anfield Rd end. Most other wives have freebie tickets in the Main Stand just to the right hand side of the press box.

Agree0 Disagree0

Players have to pay for the boxes they and there family go in, gerrard and Johnson also have boxes along with others. Also suarez is banned hence he sits and watches the games in the box

Now that Benayoun is being released, it's a shame he's not a few years older at retirement age. He'd be the perfect sort of guy to coach players like Coutinho and Sterling on how to deal with hard hitting physical defenders and how to find that impossible space to run into. I still feel that we miss the intelligence he bought sometimes. Any idea where he's going eds? {Ed002's Note - I understand that there are two offers from the US and one from Russia. Espanyol enquired after his financial needs but I doubt can match them.}

Hi eds, would just like to know has there or do you think there is any interest from Liverpool in Swansea's Pablo hernandez?

He is a fantastic player, amazing ball control.

Cheers,

Matt {Ed002's Note - At this time, no I don't.}

Believable2 Unbelievable21

I'm a Liverpool fan but currently studying at Swansea university and as a result have seen many Swansea games this season. Hernandez seemed to be a bit quiet for the games I saw this season. I wouldn't go after him if there a better players with his skill set (and more) on the market.

Agree0 Disagree0

Man city are also getting kaka

Agree0 Disagree0

21 May 2013 13:56:47
So cavani is going to man city as it stands so would that mean there out of the Falco suarez race? {Ed002's Note - Nope. Manchester City may well seek to buy both Cavani and Suarez in the summer.}

Believable1 Unbelievable29

I think Aguero, Tevez, Silva and Dzeko could all leave City this summer and hence would be looking to buy atleast 3 forwards, Cavani being one of them.

The real AG

Agree0 Disagree0

Aguero won't be sold. Tevez will be off to Juventus with Dzeko off to Dordmund. Cavani is likely to come in along with Isco from Malaga, who is currently working very successfully with Pelligrini.

If this likely scenario occurs then Suarez is likely to be off City's radar, thankfully (even though he is the best player of all those listed by a country mile!)

Agree0 Disagree0

Banter aside, I think City are gearing up for a bid for Suarez. Although Mancini is no longer at the club he had his nose pretty far up Suarez' ass a couple of months ago, so would have been privy to the club's summer plans. I can see City being the most likely club to sign Suarez now. I'm sure Suarez would relish the chance to link up with Cavani at club level too. Also with City being a local rival of United's it may tempt him to join City. I am sure most Liverpool fans will be happy with that as City are Liverpool fan's 2nd team.

Disney! {Ed001's Note - not any Liverpool fan I know of! You really do make some silly statements Syd, the rivalry is between the 2 cities, neither of you Manchester clubs are liked in Liverpool. }

Agree0 Disagree0

To the 1st reply, Aguero could well be sold to Real as well as Silva, as Ed002 points out, there is interest in both and they could both leave.

As for Sydney! keeping aside your continued, albeit unsuccessful attempts at spreading doom and gloom at LFC, how can YOU see Suarez's destination as only City? Just because his good ol' buddy Cavani is at City? If he wanted to leave, he could leave to Bayern or Juventus, and earn as much as he would get at City (at Bayern).

Maybe you should just restrict your vision to your club, who are about to put all their faith in Van Persie, who is 30 next year, with all that injury record, which could re surface any moment.

Looks like kolo toure is a done deal main article on BBC:

Title Kolo Toure will move to Liverpool:

Jordz

Believable41 Unbelievable28

I think the article says 'Liverpool to move for Kolo Toure'. And it's has a pinch of journalistic licence at this stage. Big, big difference between those 2 statements.

Agree0 Disagree0

The tv title says Liverpool to move for kolo toure,
not he will move to Liverpool although I think he could be a useful signing to add cover for the defence,

eds do you know if Coates is defo leaving or will he be loaned out, he is young and has a great future ahead of him, I think all he needs is playing time in a 1st team if we sell him it would be a big mistake and it could be like tom ince all over again because after he had a season or 2 in the 1st team we were willing to buy back a player for 6 mill who we sold for £250,000, I can't see him being on big wages, for me dowing is simply not good enough and he should go, jordan ibe showed how much of a better player he is to downing and ibe showed him how to use his pace to get back and defend a break away

mickey b {Ed002's Note - I expect him to leave - "defo" I can't really answer.}

Believable5 Unbelievable22

Saying Ibe looks better than downing off the back of one match doesn't really show much? Sterling looked the best thing since Digger in the first few games of the season, everyone was crying for him to be benched by Christmas due to burnout, more experienced players don't suffer with this as much. Although I don't think Downing is a long term answer, nor a short term answer, cutting loose without and older experienced replacement coming in and expecting Ibe to do it all season is just nonsense.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow some , Monaco have just done a Zenit, $70m for Moutinho and Rodriguez! Way too much, Porto must make SO much money every year from sales its ridiculous, and they just won their league unbeaten. This actually affects LFC I reckon. We have interest in a LB and Alex Sandro was one I think we were going to try for. Now Porto really can't consider selling any more of their players, especially if Martinez goes for big money, which is likely. I wouldn't mind just following Porto's scouts this summer, and just outbid any player they plan to sign, because if not they'll be sold in 2 years time for £40m a piece as usual.
RC

Believable13 Unbelievable5

If someone makes reasonable offers for Martinez or sandro I doubt it matters. Just gives them over 100m to rebuild their squad and they have plenty of young talent.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is this true ed?

wafa {Ed002's Note - Monaco will be looking to complete these transfers (and there is nothing new here as the informatio about interest has been shared). But nothing has been completed just yet.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Am sure there is plenty of other left backs in the world, Jose Enrique does a great job anyway, Were only looking for a back up left back. Liverpool will only be signing player (s) from Sporting Lisbon if anything from the Portuguese league over the summer.

intitiwetrust

Agree0 Disagree0

How about we just hire there scouts

Agree0 Disagree0

Hiring their scouts wouldn't do anything in all fairness, at the end of the day it's the manager who decides who's good and who's not.

They could uncover the next Messi and BR may think he's not got what it takes, but someone else will snap him up and make a fortune. It's football, it happens. You win some, you lose some, we recently won in the sense that we picked up Coutinho for pennies. Although, we'll see how he performs next season, could just be the honeymoon period.

Enrique has been rubbish during big games. Not good enough in my opinion. IF he is good, he would be in the national team.

In the coming weeks a £14m with a further £1m on addons -deal would be agreed between WestHam and Liverpool for Andy Caroll who would in turn try to tie up a £12.5m deal for Erikssen. The Erikssen deal is dependent on Andy Caroll leaving to generate cash else the manager feels other areas are in more need of strengthening. Toby Aderwereild would not be joining. A deal in the region of £3m would be tied up for Tiago Ilori and Reina would not be leaving.

Joey O'Brien doesn't deserve a slating because of a crazy rumour made up here. I'd rather we just recognise this isn't going to happen. He'll never be good enough but he wouldn't even be interested either sure he was out injured for so long he's delighted to be playing and he'd hardly move for sitting on a bench. In all due respect he's had a good season but he'd be doing well to make our bench still.

Hai Ed. great mng. and super kool work ethic.

Arsenal are closing on Huguain for 19 mill which is an excellent business. he is a proper CF and very very good finsiher. they are also on the verge of getting jovetic 23 mill. two world lcass players for 40 odd millions.
Arsene wenegr is aware, this is his last seaosn and he will go all out to win the title.
Utd will probably sign another high line striker or an winger if rooney is being sold.
chelsea we all are aware with jose back he might even bring ronaldo back to chelsea or falcao and other 2-3 high profile strikers.
Spurs will sell adebeyor and dempsey and probably will bring diamio and villa to white hart lane.
City are closing on cavani and Isco and also with some good players arriving.
We have serious issues to sort out, after spending enormous money. we still are short of 5 players.
2 cb, 1 Keeper, 1lb, 1dm, 1Rw, 1ACM.
Worst scenario, The players we need to ship out won't generate much cash for our sales.
rooney itself will generate 30 mill for UTD.
I know. all these clubs will be under new managers and new players.
But these players are enough for any manager or club to secure 70 points.

FInally credit to the owners, they have been fantastic.

I have hope and faith in ma team, But we also need a great bit of luck, and probably a season to rememeber from our players.

Believable10 Unbelievable25

Finally some sense from Harry!

You are absolutely right about the others spending record amounts this summer and how very crucial this summer is for us in particular, especially considering the FFP rules kicking in soon and that we need to become self sustainable.

I think we are moving in the right direction, and with rumored interest in Papa, Ilori, Abdennour, Toure and Lovren, I think we are well aware of the situation we are in and how others will be in.

A very critical summer ahead and we cannot get it wrong now, more than ever.

The real AG

Agree0 Disagree0

Who other teams sign is not relevant to our Champions League aspirations. If we sort our defence out we will be right up there. We've been superb this second half of the season and, with the addition of a winger, will have good strength in depth attack wise especially as we have a raft of youngsters waiting to take their chance in the spotlight (Suso, Sterling, Ibe, etc etc). Other teams can strengthen, change, whatever - a great team doesn't necessarily consist of the eleven best individual players but of players who benefit, complement and work well with each other. We're not there yet but we are improving in that respect, your post is overly negative and, whilst it is important that we as fans keep our feet on the ground I believe their is enough evidence there for us to be cautiously optimistic for next season. Get rid of that self defeating attitude, does no service to the team, club or fans.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who other teams sign is not relevant to our Champions League aspirations.

=====================================
Of course its relevant, if 4 other teams improve their squad, then its more likely they collect more points than us and we miss out. Harry's point which is very valid is that we need to improve in line with others. there is no negativity in Harry post, just a reminder that we have a lot more work to do.

We've been superb this second half of the season and
==========================================
We did better than the first half, won't call it superb. if you look at the form table since January we are not in the top 4

What a load of tripe, Rooney will got for around £20 million. He's been relegated to midfield at his own club.

Liverpool are not short on ANY wingers, if anything we have too many.

Liverpool need a keeper IF pepe leaves.

The centre back we ar all aware of and that will get sorted within the first 3 weeks of the window.

Cavani and Isco won't be going to city

Villa will NOT improve Tottenham. He won't stand up to the physicality of the UK game, he's never really recovered the fitness since breaking his leg. he's the wrong side of 30 for a small nippy striker.

Tottenham will look to keep most players. rather than get rid of2 and get in two, They need strength in depth for the Europa league. Tottenham will go for CB'S AND a young striker.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh and if Arsene goes for strikers, he's truly shot himself in the foot, a keeper and brand new back line is what he needs. vermaelen terrible season, Koschielny, moments of brilliance, and moment of insanity, gibbs doesn't cut it, hence monreals purchase and sagna is gone! Schezney willlikely become number 2, if arsene wants to challenge he's spending £100 million this summer

Agree0 Disagree0

Erickson two CBs and a GK if pepe leaves and its game on

Ed002

I know you aren't so keen to talk money these days, for obvious reasons, but could you possibly clarify (in light of today's rumours).

"Free" transfers are not remotely free are they? I thought that simply meant that the old club didn't receive a transfer free but instead a (potentially) similar sum of money was passed directly to the player, often spread through the length of their contract. I recall that Joe Cole's large salary was organized this way?

In simple terms "free" does not mean free?

ProfG.

p. s. Where are you Chris in Tamworth. away fishing?

{Ed002's Note - Right. Typically an out of contract player will be given a "signing on fee" to join. Many clubs look to spread this cost over the length of a contract. Taking as an example Player K signing a two year deal with a £4M "signing on" fee, he would likely be given something like £1M up front and then his salary would be supplented by £30k per week over two years. If the club wished to sell the player on or terminate his contrctt after a year, then whatever remains will be due to the player.}

Give a kid a chance instead of Toure!

If Pepe does leave in the summer, my (slightly leftfield) shout would be either Yann Sommer of Basel. or John Ruddy of Norwich - both fairly affordable and with plently of time ahead of them. Any info on those players Eds?

LeTrench {Ed002's Note - Nope.}

Eds what are the chances of making a bid for celtics wanyama, the sort of player we need to be looking at {Ed002's Note - I don't see it happening.}

Believable5 Unbelievable19

He'd cost a fortune and only looks good in a mediocre (at best) league - daft risk involved for a position that is far from a priority, if the club do sign him it'll be a big mistake.

Agree0 Disagree0

Outstanding in the Champions League, especially against Barca. Would be a great signing

Agree0 Disagree0

I really think Etinne Capoue is a far superior DM and would cost atleast 5 million less.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Wanyama would be a great signing. Don't know of Capoue myself but I do think a good DM is needed more than AM. We've got Coutinho, Henderson, Suso for AM. Lucas is only 70% hopefully he'll kick on again next year but we ask a lot of him.

We should concentrate on a right winger first of all for the attack, and strengthen CB of course. Competition for Enrique would be nice too. I'd prefer to get 1 really really good centre back to replace Carra and sign 1 promising def like Ilori to replace Skrtel & Coates as we have Kelly & Wisdom too. (I don't think we'd even need Ilori if Agger & Kelly didn't have a history of injuries)

Any idea if De Guzman who is on loan at Swansea is an option heard €5m being quoted from few different places. {Ed002's Note - Right now there is nothing to report - it will becoe clear in a couple of weeks when the Spanish season is over.}

Hi, I am a Liverpool fan from Lithuania, and today I saw this article all over the local media: "Young Lithuanian keeper Emilijus Zubas attracted interest of Liverpool".

Some interesting facts, as I assume information is very limited from eastern europe:

Zubas played in my city team, Ekranas (5 champion titles in a row for the team, Zubas has been main keeper for last 2 years). This winter he moved to Belchatov GKS, which was the last club in Polish premier league, with 6 points after mid-season, waiting for relegation.
Zubas made so many clean sheets, that the team went back in business - 8 clean sheets in 11 games, 20 points in 11 games. Imagine, how that is with last team of the division.
He was also main U-21 keeper for a few years.

All Lithuania is excited about these rumours about Liverpool scouting him :)

Believable11 Unbelievable19

Think a swap deal involving Gulacsi would do the trick.

Agree0 Disagree0

Zubas is valued ~300k euro (at least that's how much Ekranas asked for him at winter. Polish club could not pay that much, so Ekranas loaned him, so Zubas could play on higher level, as there was nothing left to do for him in Lithuania).
However, he still belongs to Ekranas, and I doubt Ekranas would take Gulasci. I know they have financial issues, so they would rather take the money.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheap for a promising young keeper.

David Texeira's rumours have cooled past the season.
What's the furore ed's? {Ed002's Note - I have never been aware of interest from Liverpool.}

Hey eds, I recently read that Rodgers is looking to take Lukaku on loan next season as he doesn't want to sit on Chelsea's bench. I'm not saying we will buy him but would he be a loan option, or are we just looking at players to buy?

Lucky Red Slevin {Ed002's Note - I don't know of any proposal for Liverpool to take Lukaku on loan.}

Believable1 Unbelievable28

Good idea, Chelsea loan out one of their young talents so he can swap Chelsea's bench for our bench.

Makes perfect sense

Not a chance in hell will that happen for the same reason that he won't be at West Brom next year - can't offer European football which Chelsea want him to get

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought a deal had been put in place for him to go to Swansea next season, so there's that put to bed.

Liverpool are interested in Aston Villa captain Ron Vlaar to partner Agger next season. The Netherlands International would be available for around £6m.

Also, there is no interest in Kolo Toure.

Red Lee

Believable11 Unbelievable38

Interesting shout, he's one of Villa's decent players but whether the money he'd cost would be worth it is a different story as is whether he is good enough for us.

Don't think Suarez and him would get along too well haha

Reports suggesting Toure on a free.

As a 3rd or 4th choice I can't think of a better option.

IncaMan

Believable40 Unbelievable34

Yeh I had a text about an hour ago with the same story.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hopefully its cheap wages and MAX 2 year contract

Agree0 Disagree0

For me KOLO should be 3rd choice behind Agger and Skrtel's replacement (one of Papadopoulos or Adil Rami) and in front of Coates' replacement (one of Kurt Zouma or Tiago Ilori)

Agree0 Disagree0

Any time, a free agent like toure shuld be given atlest a chance. who knows we can get easily 2 yrs out of him. and considering he's played for arsnal, city nust have some talent and experiance.

gallas is still working for spurs.

Agree0 Disagree0

Think he may be an alright option. perfer papadopolous and tiago ilori as well as the french left back.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's in The Guardian and Telegraph this morning. But seriously: Kolo Toure? Surely if you're going to get an unwanted defender from City, it has to be Joleon Lescott?
