Well, it's back in the press again, LFC considering a move for Sami Khedira! Is there any truth to this Eds?

Goodmorning Ed. Which Barca/Real Madrid players are Liverpool interested in or would be if Suarez was to move to spain?
{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of Liverpool interest in any Barcelona or Real Madrid players. Real Madrid also thought that Liverpool would ask for Alvaro Morata as part of any transaction for Suarez last year but they never got that far in discussions.}

Have we dropped all interest in Tello then Ed002? Seems odd that we'd pass up on him the only transfer window he's available, especially given we are looking for a left forward!

hey Ed002 is suarez top of the list now for madrid?
I seem to remember you were saying he was maybe 3rd or 4th after aguero and everything, then at one point you said you suspect suarez mightev gone up the list a little bit. I know not many things can change over a short time, but I guess its been awhile since u said that you suspect he might be going up the list.

Just a few quick questions I hope you could clear up for me.
1) Is there any interest from Liverpool in Isla of chile?
2) Is Griezman of sociedad likely to move on this summer? Whos interested?
3) Liverpool Echo are reporting that Liverpool are going in for a third time for lallana, any truth?

{Ed002's Note - (1) There was interest from Liverpool in Isla two years ago. (2) Atletico Madrid, Valencia, Marseille, Rennes, Fiorentina and Lyon have shown some interest in Griezmann in the past year and repordedly Barcelona tool a look at one time. Whilst Griezmann has said on several occasions that he has no plans to leave Spain anytime soon, the financial problems being faced by Real Sociedad may still see him leave the club in the summer. He has had a good season which have led to enquiries being made by Juventus, Arsenal and Chelsea. Manchester United and PSG had the player watched on more than one occasion and both are looking toward making a transfer happen. Interest from Juventus has gone due to the asking price and Chelsea seem to have dropped their interest. (3) Interest certainly remains in Lallana - Liverpool know the price.}

Are we really going to spend £25-£30 million on a player who can not get into an average England team. What does that value Danny Welbeck?!
Value is in the eye of the beholder - or something like that! I wouldn't trust Hodgson to pick my fruit and veg much less players for a squad (remember Konchesky and Poulson). Lallana is obviously a very talented player that would bring a lot to our squad, is already accustomed to the Prem League and should quickly fit in with the way we play - can you put a value on that?
Re. Suarez; there's really no point in flapping until a bid is made.
Would you prefer to keep him till he retires and get no cash for him?
He's bound to leave at some point and tripling his value is a very good start. It might affect our pull with regards to getting top players in if he ain't there but this why the staff at LFC must be shrewd with their first big spend this summer (IMO) as we have considerably less appeal without the goofy little genius.

Eds, happy watching WorldCup 2014. What's your favourite team?
-Barca & Real interest in Suarez might be real based on his current form, for club & country. Do you see if Barca make a bid, LFC will demand Alexis Sanchez to be inserted to the deal?
-now that England journey for WorldCup is over, do u see Lallana submit transfer request in order to join LFC?
-is Napoli interest in Agger still strong? Do u see Napoli will make a bid for Agger? Hate to lost him but if we get Lovren then it would be a good deal.

(b) It is not quite over and submitting a transfer request will make no difference to the situation. (c) I have no way of measuring "strong" and would not try and link the transfers of Agger and Lovren.}

England are STILL IN IT, although it's out of our hands now, so forget Lallana for at least 4-5 days now!
I can't see us getting Sanchez. He will have the biggest clubs in the world to choose from if he leaves. Obv. he'll cost a bit - that narrows the field but I can see no reason for a Chilean (?) with no connection to our club to choose us over. I dunno. say Bayern or Juve (pickin clubs at random here :) ) or any one of the Euro 'glamour' clubs.
If we were to keep Luis - The King of The Swingers, we might have a chance but without being very careful in how we go about our business this window, we could well end up in a bit of a pickle.
Again, we could make a couple of signings b4 Luis leaves to keep our stock high with potential players but I presume they would have to be told that the star man was going to leave when they signed otherwise it coul all get a bit ugly later on.
The thing I like most about this time of year is the very fact that I have no influence whatsoever so I can just sit back, watch what happens without getting too worked up - unlike some ( and me when I was younger).
What happens happens and there's nish you can do. Chill innit :)
1. I would make a huge mess of it.
2. I would buy Carroll and Torres. Nah, just playing.

Eds is there any truth in the (twitter) rumour that Barca are planning to offer 65m (or something like that) and Alexis Sanchez for Suarez, or has the situation not changed?
