Hi Ed's not a rumour, just a question: has junior hoillet signed for any 1 yet? Isn't he a free agent? Think he could play in BR style , a bit like sinclair (swansea), and if we decide to sell skrtel (which imo wouldn't be to bad, as we want players commited to the cause not the money), what sort of price would anzi or man city have to pay (we should haggle for £20m +! It sounds silly , I live in germany but im a scouser a friend who now works �s a secretary for a fifa agent ( who also represented gervinho and who happens to be belgian and aristocratic ) has been touting bastos from lyon all over france and holland over the past 2 weeks. He said they have targetted English clubs next as all others have rejected them! They are desparate as lyon will not renew his contract! He said the boy has issues and noone will look at him. I thought the guy was full of s**t till I checked the agent out. Pleasea avoid this guy from what I hear if there is any interest (macca). This guy has big problems!!

I've read this post before is this copied and pasted from about six months ago??

Hi Ed's, Is there any interest in Luciano Narsingh? I think he is a great player very pacey. He didn't get to show in the euro's but great potential. {Ed002's Note - As far as we are aware there has been no interest in Narsingh from anyone other than Ajax and Fulham. His agent has been hawking him around Italy with Bologna, Genoa and Fiorentina being approached.}

Sources close to anfield are suggesting that both out of favour wingers from juve, eljero elia and milos krasic are close to joining, in a deal eventually worth 29 million euros. The deal is likely to be announced sometime next week and is subject to a medical.

Cant wait! Finally some real pace and trickery arriving at liverpool!

Hey Ed's , if we were to sell suarez do you's think we could get a big name replacement like an higuain or gomez ? for me i would like suarez to stay and i think he will stay but im asking just in case he could leave.

Alvaro Morata is a topic of conversation for talk5h1te, apparently he is been offered to Premier league clubs (read on lfc.com). Any news on this, or just bull? {Ed002's Note - I don't know anything of him being offered around. Some first team midfield players are available to help them raise funds and I think there remains a good chance that they will get a decent fee for Higuain if they can entice the likes of Cavani or Aguero.}

Do you know what is happening with gylfi sigurdson ..It seemed he was to sign a few weeks ago and i have heard about other clubs interested. I hope liverpool bid for him soon as other clubs may also. And also with Reina i hope he dosent leave.. He has been a huge part of LFC and one of the best keepers in the world.
Certainly hope rodgers persuades him too stay.

As BR has already proven, he is a strong character with certain necessities that he insisted on having when taking the job. The selling of the clubs best players i.e. LS is certainly something which he will not have sanctioned! It's really not that complicated!

I know it's a long shot but do we have any interest in Gourcuff of Lyon. He has been a fridge player for them for about 2 years (I don't know if this is down to injury or something else)

Seriously spoke to the groundsman at Liverpool (bob) and said that he was evesdropping on a convo in br's office and heard him talking to someone that 'although offers have been received for some players he will be selling no one that was and is important to the club last season. he said only fringe players might leave he does not want to have to create a new squad.

Yeah i saw this as well - Juventus have opened tentative negotiations with the Liverpool's Luis Suarez and Borussia Dortmund's Robert Lewandowski. [via Independent]

Malaga,Juve,Inter,palermo,Real Madrid, and Psg want him.

I think I have said this before but to me the real threat for his signature would be PSG as they can afford to pay �50 million plus and his wages on top of that. Man City & Chelsea obviously possess that kind of money but I am not sure Juventus can unless they have come into some serious cash!! {Ed002's Note - They are not going to be paying �50M for Suarez.}

In that case there is nothing to worry about!!

If poster keep posting "what if suarez is sold" instead of suarez is not for sale. I think this can twist public opinion as the majority of the posters can be anti lfc. Every time i see the same story a team coming to LFC supermarket and will buy suarez and i can see about 50-100 disagree. This show how much lfc fans want to keep him. Eds - There is alot of rumours lately about Bedimo joining a Premiership Club and it has been mentioned on numerous websites today that he is reporting on Friday that it's Liverpool he has signed for according to his agent. Can you shed any light on this {Ed002's Note - I am very surprised his agent has said that he has signed for Liverpool and is reporting on Friday. Obviously you have much more up to date information than me.}

At 28 years of age cant see it myself,silly season is well & truly here {Ed002's Note - There is apparently interest in Bedimo from both Liverpool and Newcastle and I assume is would be a pretty much straight replacement for Aurelio in the thoughts of Liverpool. Go for Thibaut Courtois! He was outstanding for Madrid this year when on loan and I don't think Chealse have him in there plans! Could we snap him up? {Ed002's Note - He is most definately in the plans of Chelsea.}

To say that pepe has been past is just daft - he is still arguably one of the best goalkeepers in the world - nobody in the premier league matches his quality apart from hart - pepe has been loyal to Liverpool since he joined and we as fans should be lucky that he loves our club enough to have stayed so long it's not his fault that the team has changed so much in front of him. Nobody could deny the fact that he should play in the UCL every season and let's just hope BR can convince him to stay for at least two more years or at least until he reaches him prime

Reina is an excellent keeper, love him or hate him you cant take that fact away, ok he had a shocking season, but didn't the rest of the team? you cant just have a dig at one man when the rest was as shocking as he was, that includes suarez... doesnt mean we should get rid.. give reina another season, id be gutted to see him leave

Reina has several more years in him at the top level. If he goes, it will be to a big club and will be for Champions League football. I'd like to see him stay - he's been the most consistent keeper in the Prem over the last five years, and a key reason why our defence is so good. IF he is tempted away, then Ter Stegen is a good shout. Forget fantasy games, he's a good keeper with wonderful potential. My preference would be to keep Pepe though!

Since when is a goal keeper past their prime at the age of 29? OK he had a below par season but that is all, and to let him go for �20m would be very poor business. It would be impossible to replace him for that! and as far as replacing him with Ter Stegen goes.... Just shows how clueless you really are! There is an obvious lack of real football knowledge with some of the posts on here. Made up rumours are one thing, but, a total ignorance of how good a keeper Reina actually is is staggering. Many ITK pundits and ex-players all believe that Reina is among the top 3 keepers in the EPL. Are they all wrong as well just because some person poster has taken an ugly towards our no.1?

I certainly agree with the last poster in that Pepe needs genuine competition, and, I believe, that Jack Butland or Marc-Andre Ter Stegen would be the best young keepers available capable of providing that. I would also like to see Xavi Valero back as goalkeeping coach as when he was at Anfield Pepe was at his best.

If Reina does go that would be a loss as he is an excellent keeper and a leader. But nobody is irreplaceable. My biggest concern is that we don't disrupt the back 5 too much while BR re-designs the midfield, frontline, and our playing pattern. Whatever we may say now about giving him time etc, we all know that come Xmas if we aren't close to top 4 then the pressure will really start to mount.

yeah, I didn't watch De Jong play. He scored a lot of goals in Eredivise. Big deal. Even Suarez was prolific in that league, wasn't he? Tell me, has Suarez been half as prolific in PL as he was in Eredivise? No. I won't criticize De Jong. We'll see how good he is in the PL if he does join Newcastle.

Despite the games he missed Suarez's strike rate was almost a goal every other game as near as makes no difference.Unless you're talking RVP there are not many players with a better goal to game ratio in the Premier league.Clearly a top class player in a lower class league will score more goals but Louis is good enough for me.

Suarez is a world class player. He's a fantastic player. But he's not a very good goal scorer. With the amount of opportunities we created last season Suarez should've scored at least 20 goals but he didn't. He wasted a lot of very good chances. The reason I don't like Carroll is because he's a bad player & won't fit in BR's style. He can't even control the ball. Henderson, Downing & Adam haven't been successful but they can at least play with their feet but Carroll can only head the ball. Carroll's probably the worst player I've ever seen in my life.

It's always something to be wary of especially, signing a player after a good international tournament. Especially from a host nation. Diouf and Diao still give me nightmares.
