Hey Ed..if substantial offers are tabled for meiriles and aqua and as expected are sold..could you then see us look to tempt moussa sissoko?

Thanks {Ed009's Note - having bought Adam and Henderson, our interest continued. It has cooled since, but that is because we are looking at outgoings. I certainly think that he would be the next centre midfielder we sign, if any. Personally though I think any proceeds from midfielders will go towards other positions.}

ed just read macca's post from earlier refering to gerrard still having big problems with his groin, u heard anythin on this? will be a massive blow if true {Ed009's Note - as I have said time and again, I have heard nothing more than rumours. We should wait until something official is released with regards to this matter in my opinion.}

19 Jul 2011 21:57:03
hi ed, could u rate these out of 10?
a.johnson, cissoko, park chu-young, g.cahill, baines.
thanks {Ed009's Note - There is a fair chance of both Cissokho and Cahill, I would say the latter is only ousted as most likely by Dann with regards to a centre back. Chu-Young would be a potential signing if we went in for another striker, as he would love to join us, but I'm afraid I am not sure we will buy another striker, unless we sell N'Gog. Johnson and Baines are likely just pipe dreams at this time. All are good players, Park Chu-Young probably the least so; which doesn't mean he is at all bad. I am not going to be doing ratings out of ten.}

Liverpool will still surprise the football world and make two more major signings before the window closes notably BAINES from the toffess and MATA. The yanks mean business.

19 Jul 2011 21:08:02
hi eds, is there any truth in the rumour of Diego Godin? although he would be expensive player he would definitely be a great signing {Ed009's Note - Godin is a fantastic defender but I don't know of any interest in the player at this time. He would be especially expensive considering the length remaining on his contract.}

19 Jul 2011 20:29:23
Hey Ed's, just a quick question, i know before there was a lot of talk about Tom Cairney of Hull, and I believe i recall Hull even saying themselves we have reached an agreement for him. I was wondering if this is correct and if the move is still on? Thanks

Pete {Ed009's Note - I have not heard anything about it in a long time and I can't see why it would not have been announced if it was still on. Perhaps we will learn more when the friendly takes place, but I am not overly expectant.}

19 Jul 2011 20:15:08
transfer activity will be limited to players leaving for the next couple of weeks. then once players start reporting for pre-season on mainland europe or finish off their break because of the copa, expect movement on a left back, striker, centre back and possibly another midfielder that can play a few positions.

alrite ed and rumours on a lb or cb.and why do think were gunna sign a big name striker?do ppl think were gunna spend 35mil on carrol to be on the bench or the new signing madness

ste livepool {Ed009's Note - I don't think we will sign a striker at all personally, unless N'Gog is sold which could necessitate us bringing one in. There are not many players we have genuine interest in right now, we are looking to sell first so it has all gone a little bit cold. I still believe Cissokho is a possibility, but Dann is probably the most likely signing at this time.}

What has happened to interest in Stephen warnock. Vastly underated and underplayed. Surely are more realistic fee can be sorted. The kid is a scouser n all Can't believe I haven't seen his name mentioned before now. It was in January. Our need for a left back more keenly noticable now. We must be realistic as if we achieve any our goals of champions league then we must balance the books legitamatly. Unless we do a man citeh Which by the way, etihad is Arabic for united What price for success Red Mike {Ed029's Note - I think Warnock may well try to fight for a place under a new manager at Villa and it could be a step backwards for the club. I think if we do try to sign a left back it will be someone who do a job for us for 4 or 5 years

19 Jul 2011 19:51:08
I was just wondering could I get people's opinion on something , I am also open to correction, Ronnie Moran served our great club for nearly 50 years as player, coach and care taker manager, i think he's worth of having a knighthood, mbe or obe for services to football or even naming a stand after him.

Just a thought

What ye all think?

Rebel_Red {Ed029's Note - Definitely deserves an OBE in my eyes

Hi ed.Please change it so Macca is the only person who can post on his page.We dont want idiots on the page too.Most of the posts on the Macca site are from people giving out about Macca. {Ed029's Note - Macca already has his own page and people wanted to see what he was replying for etc so we added the posts that he was replying to}

19 Jul 2011 19:48:28
Could one of the eds be macca? {Ed029's Note - I can promise you Macca is not one of the eds}

My mate who works at melwood has told me that we will sign carvani after the copa America with aquaman going the other plus 12 million watch this space in kenny we trust ynwa

19 Jul 2011 19:26:16
from the man who told me of downing and henderson before any newspaper or rumours site, a substantial transfer fee has been "left aside"for a massive name.aguerro maybe, however i believe even IF we could match city's bid, he would choose ch.l and probablhy double the wages we could offer. would be very nice tho

{Ed002's Note - I suspect that back? {Ed002's Note - I suspect that he will leave - he has been in talks with Roma and there is a whisper of nterest from Chievo. I imagine again. Or perhaps Enrique will come n.}
--------

I know fiorentina have him scribbled as a possible replacement for vargas should/when he leave.

If memory serves correct they did negotiate for him before galatasaray but were put off by his wages. Not sure if that's still the case though. They're interested in a couple of lfc players but have a max spend of 8m.

Just seen this on
"It is rumoured that Liverpool and Man City have agreed a fee with Atletico Madrid for Aguero. Personal terms have been put forward by Liverpool and Man City and it is now up to the player to decide where he is going by the end of the week."
Like to think he'd come for the football and not the money. {Ed029's Note - Sadly the Aguero rumour won't die until he signs for someone else. I like all Liverpool fans want it to happen, but it won't}

19 Jul 2011 19:33:31
Here is how I expect the rest of the transfer window to take shape:

Transfers In
Jose Enrique - Newcastle £10.5m

Transfers Out
Alberto Aquilani - Fiorentina £11.5m
Emiliano Insua - AS Roma £3.5m
Milan Jovanovic - Anderlect £0m
Brad Jones - Leeds Loan
Christian Poulsen - Malaga £2.5m
Nabil El Zhar - Released
Philip Degen - Released

(No Scott Dann, Kun Aguerro, Aly Cissokho, Bastos, Pele or Maradona)

LFC#1 {Ed002's Note - Brad Jones is being released for personal reasons, but you can certainly add Mavinga (Rennes) circa £700k to the outbound list.}

I didn't put Mavinga on there because he has already gone as has Bruna. The "Rest" of the window and I have heard that Jones won't be released but loaned out n his contract is going to be run down. Liverpool will be recieving a fee for the loan (something like 400k) and his contract run down which ends in 2013 but possibly have his contract terminated in summer 2012.

Whats happening with Gerrard? Will he be fit for the new season or is it all over? {Ed029's Note - Hopefully he should be fit to start the first game of the new season, he is feeling fitter than ever and I think/hope he has a couple of good seasons in him yet}

19 Jul 2011 19:32:46
Ed ive been talking to my mate today and he says were looking at someone called Lionel Caroll all i know is he is a french under 21 international i know nothing of the player, is he any good? how much would he cost and have you heard anything? cheers YNWA Lee {Ed029's Note - I'm afraid I don't know much about him I think he plays left back for Benfica can anyone else help with Lionel Carole?}

19 Jul 2011 19:30:35
{Ed029's Note - It is the usual suspects eg Dann and possibly Enrique, although like Macca I think we will try to cope without buying a left back if we can't move a lot of the deadwood on}

So am i right in thinking the Consensus is we will only really be looking at one of (due to the LB situation), two or maybe 3 players ?
Set me straight if im wrong here please.

Soulmiester.

{Ed029's Note - Possibly, it can all change of course but I think we will be concentrating on sales and if they go better than expected who knows. Keep checking the site and you'll know of any developments as soon as we do}

19 Jul 2011 19:20:36
Whispers today i am hearing is LFC are interested in Fiorentina's young Striker Jovetic. As Fiorentina are unwilling to buy Aquilani, LFC are interested in a swap deal which perhaps might even involve Insua for Jovetic.

YNWA Fellow Reds- Ed? ( Any thing you know regarding this, any possibility?) {Ed029's Note - Benitez was previously interested but I don't know of any interest at this time. He has also just come back from a serious injury and swap deals are rare. Don't get me wrong though I would welcome a swap deal as Aqua is apparently still keen to move to Italy and it would give us another young exciting attacking option}

19 Jul 2011 19:16:54
Heard we might be looking in the direction of lazio and a certain mauro zarate. Apparantly the player is keen to leave since they signed cisse and klose. Reckon he would be good addition. Maybe chuck in some dead wood there way too. Any thoughts ed?? {Ed029's Note - Sadly very unlikely. Player exchanges are usually rare and the only player Lazio could want would be Aqua but it is unlikely that he would go due to his past with Roma. I don't think Zarate would want to warm our bench either, let alone the issue with his fee and the fact that we seem keen to strengthen other areas}

19 Jul 2011 19:07:38
Ed's>>>> just like allot of the other guys on here I too a them getting a little pi**ed off with the silly pipe dream rumours. I have a request if you have the time please.
Could you list the players we actually have a genuine chance of acquiring this summer with your opinion on percentage of signing.
Please post this in rumours in the hopes it shuts some idiots up.

Soulmiester. {Ed029's Note - It is the usual suspects eg Dann and possibly Enrique, although like Macca I think we will try to cope without buying a left back if we can't move a lot of the deadwood on}

Hi ed just wondering if theres any truth in the Hazard rumour? from 1 to 10?

Please post {Ed009's Note - 1.}

19 Jul 2011 18:28:25
Hi eds just wondering do oyu know if there is any interest in Kevin Doyle?
Danny {Ed009's Note - there was a spurious link with both us and Arsenal for the player. I presume this was because he is arguably Ireland's best player and they would like to see him play for a top club, as I don't think there has been any genuine interest this window.}

19 Jul 2011 18:15:11
Liverpool have identified Atletico Madrid's Diego Godin as to complete the posse of centre backs at Anfield, according to reports in Spain.

A solid defender that relishes the aerial battle, he is also a good distributor from the back - something currently lacking at Anfield.

Atletico will be reluctant to lose a player that they have only had on their books for 12 months after they signed him from Villarreal for £6.6m last summer though with the player now valued at around £15m they could be tempted in to making a quick profit. In a bid to smooth the transfer and to ease their bloated midfield, Liverpool will also offer Christian Poulsen as part of the deal with the player reportedly receptive to a move back to Spain where he previously had a spell with Sevilla.

Arsenal and Liverpool will step up their efforts to sign Barcelona winger Jeffren after the La Liga giants admitted he will leave the club this summer.

Damien Comolli has been in touch with lille, eden hazard and agent for months now and would love to take him to liverpool, the whole aguero thing is a smoke screen. Expect bids to be going in for Aly Cissokho and Eden Hazard soon.

Ed, I was wondering now that it seems Insua in likely to leave could a left back be more likely to come now? I, unlike most, would love to see enrique at the club, is there any update on this or is it still unlikely? Thanks :) {Ed009's Note - Insua has always been likely to leave, that was the reason for his loan move, it was not motivated by a desire to have him next season. There are teams in the Champions League sniffing around Enrique and, as he has made patently clear, he desires this above our great club. As such I am not sure that he will join. I have always maintained that I believe a left back will be likely, just that if we can't find one good enough, we will not rush into anything stupid.}

Any chances of Diego Godin signing ed? Rumours going round, also on LFC News.

19 Jul 2011 17:44:33
Hi ed, do you think we have any interest in Napoli's Ezequiel Lavezzi? Would be signing of the summer Can play as CF or on the wing too {Ed002's Note - I think there is a slimmish possibility, but keep in mind that Liverpool's interest in Lavezzi pre-dates the January window. He has an agent in Frederic Guerra who does a really good job of talking up his players without being pushy; and a fabulous technique where he denies interest in his players from major clubs thereby attracting attention to them. It is also possible that he will stay at Napoli - who do say he is not for sale.}

19 Jul 2011 17:43:07
great site guys please tell me what are the chances out of 10 for these players to come this seasn- Mata, Aguero, Enrique and Dann {Ed002's Note - 2, 2, 6, 6}

19 Jul 2011 17:16:21
Ed, what are brad jones' personal terms for leaving? I havent read this anywhere else {Ed009's Note - personal terms? He is not being paid off as he is leaving on a mutual termination of contract. He has personal reasons for doing so.}

19 Jul 2011 16:47:47
Forget splashing 10-15 million pounds on a left back, Joan Capdevila (33) is available on a free transfer, what about that Eds? A perfect solution this season, also working as a mentor for young talent Jack Robinson, who have the talent and potential to go on to be a future England left full back. Also Glen Johnson could play left, still we have Kelly and Flanno on the right, true quality. Splashing 10-15 mill pounds on a left back is only foolish. {Ed002's Note - I refer to earlier discussion on the subject.}

19 Jul 2011 16:15:53
{Ed002's Note - Because Liverpool have not enquired with Valencia about the player for one thing.}
Why in the early days of the transfer window lead us to believe otherwise

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool enquired directly with Mata's agent - not Valencia.}

19 Jul 2011 16:12:07
Hi Ed's, do you think Insua will be sold off. I know it has been talked about a bit before. Played against Malaysia the other night and wasn't too bad going forward and seems to have bulked up further but is still showing some defensive frailties. If he does leave...is the plan that johnson will slot in left back and kelly right back?.. or do you honestly think we will buy a left back? {Ed002's Note - I suspect that he will leave - he has been in talks with Roma and there is a whisper of interest from Chievo. I imagine Johnson could well move to left back again. Or perhaps Enrique will come in.}

19 Jul 2011 16:03:46

degen, poulson, pacheo, and injury prone defender aurelio to be sold or loaned out.

19 Jul 2011 15:48:33
{Ed002's Note - Roma like Juventus and possibly like Lyon are looking to rebuild their left flank - and keep in mind that clubs have more than one player in each position.}

So why rule out Mata so much due to Downing signing?

{Ed002's Note - Because Liverpool have not enquired with Valencia about the player for one thing.}

19 Jul 2011 14:56:12
Liverpool linked with Anderlecht Argentine midfielder Lucas Biglia. We must be selling some of midfielder's if this rumour is to be true. Have you heard anything Ed's? {Ed002's Note - I would not get worked up about this speculation.}

have a reliable source who is in with certain people who work within the club he has beeen spot on with several of our signings he has told me that kk and co have lined up cissoko only as a back up if jose enrique doesnt sign as he is who they want we did show real interest in mata and santi carloza but this has died down he said there maybe 4 more signings lb cb winger and cf dont dismiss the aguero rumours completly as we are looking into making a serious move for him john henry is a fan also winger may well be a johnson as aqua could be used in deal expect a few to leave first though as the owners dont like big wages for bench warmers

Liverpool had a £7mil (plus Danny Wilson on loan) bid for Scott Dann rejected a couple weeks ago. (Birmingham wanted in excess of £13mil) They haven't followed that initial bid up, so maybe they no longer consider him a target. As far as I'm aware a new CB is still a priority.

ive posted a couple of times how id love godin but my neighbour(a coach at atleti)dosent think it will happen.Atleti are interested in Mierieles but have 2 centre mids theyre tracking.again aquero will go to madrid. {Ed002's Note - I agree that Madrid are far from being out of the reckoning for Aguero.}

hey ed how do you rate rolando from porto??? i think he would be an excellent addition to our def. has we shown any interest in him??

ps great site
YNWA from oz {Ed009's Note - I believe we were linked with him a while back but I don't know of any interest at this time, it is no more than a name of another good centre back. As I have said I believe we will make a concerted effort to sign Dann, if we do any centre back.}

19 Jul 2011 13:39:06
re : Ed, do you know of any liverpool interest in Danny ings? Thanks alot. {Ed002's Note - This is I think the kid from Bournemouth. I know there was speculation, but that is all.} i am from liverpool(and reds fan) living in bournemouth 30 years now, i watch afcb alot as they are local club , danny ings is a good player at this level but i would be amazed if liverpool wanted him, at best i think he could be a top 6 championship team player , hes not any where near as talented as jamie redknapp was when he played his few games for bournemouth, (ok i know different positions) now im not saying i knew jamie would go on to play for liverpool and england but you could see he was very talented.
long story short , ings not good enough

Where has the diego godin rumours come from eds? Hope its true but don't no what to believe, what's your opinions? {Ed009's Note - Godin is a fantastic defender but I don't know of any interest in the player at this time. At a push I would say the club will make efforts to sign Dann.}

19 Jul 2011 13:20:05
Liverpool agree fee with athletico Madrid fir the signiture of sergio kun aguero (source LFC News) be thrilled if we get him drop Lucas play 4 4 3 it also says Manchester city have had a bid accepted :/ bit worrying up to him to decide even though I think we got an advantage a few year back he begged Benitez to sign him Benitez walked away his father in law die hard Liverpool fan and his best pal is maxi Rodriguez from the time he spent st Madrid s few years back once again the (source I got this from is LFC News) :)

19 Jul 2011 13:19:52
eds just a quick question, with joel campbells move to arsenal seemingly not happening, is there a chance liverpool could sneak in there for the young costa rica striker, he fits into liverpools buying policy to, cheers

big ant {Ed009's Note - I still feel that, subject to work permits and formalities, he will make the move to Newcastle, perhaps remaining elsewhere on loan until he can get a permit. I do not see him moving to Liverpool I am afraid.}

19 Jul 2011 12:36:27
Aquilani stays. He's commited to staying at anfield unless he can move to Roma, Juventus, AC Milan or Napoli in a deal that is satisfactory to Liverpool. Kenny Rates him, JWH rates him, not that it matters but I rate him, He's staying. {Ed002's Note - I still expect a move to Fiorentina. He remains desperate to move back to Italy.}

19 Jul 2011 12:19:29
Liverpool will sign Enrique, Dann and a young English strike prospect (if they can sell Ngog and the price is right). I think all we'd be lacking then is a top quality winger with pace to burn.

19 Jul 2011 12:13:18
Seen a few messages on here about Joan Capdevila. He is being allowed a free transfer from Villarreal. I must be honest I haven't seen much of him recently - is he still Spain's 1st choice left back? His performances in the Spain team suggest he is a solid left back, but as Spain's left back you don't have to do much defending. At 33, he has vast experience, but are his legs beginning to go? There must be a reason why he is being offloaded.

I've read one of the eds reservations about such a "free" signing, as there is no such thing these days. Villarreal aren't the biggest spenders in terms of wages so I expect he isn't on huge wages, and could be looking at his last big contract. Under the H&G regime I would be worried about such a deal after Jovanovic, Cole, Voronin and Degen were given huge contracts. Under FSG I'm not so worried - if a deal is possible that represents value for money i'm sure they would consider it, If the sums don't add up i'm certain they would just move on.

To sum up this essay, If Kenny feels that Capdevila could do a job for us and a deal can be done to suit all parties - I wouldn't be disappointed.

Ed, do you know of any liverpool interest in Danny ings? Thanks alot. {Ed002's Note - This is I think the kid from Bournemouth. I know there was speculation, but that is all.}

19 Jul 2011 11:54:36
KK is happy with the squad axcept left back, we will go for Newcastle's Jose Enrique this week after this only Oxlade-Chamberlain. If we can move 1 or 2 players we will still sign centre half Godin after Copa America

19 Jul 2011 11:19:52
Liverpool contemplate intelligent free transfer of Spain international

Liverpool are thought to be considering a clever short term move for Spain international left back Joan Capdevila, who is allowed to leave Villarreal on a free transfer at the age of 33.

Caught Off Side

Sounds interesting. What do u think ED. Would be an excellent signing IMO. Experienced short term replacement and will teach young Robsion until he is ready to take over. {Ed002's Note - Please refer to earlier answers.}

19 Jul 2011 11:14:56
I read a post a couple of days ago it was estimated that LFC pay around £400-500k in total per week to the fringe players (e.g. Jovanovic, Ngog, El Zhar etc.).

I am in no position to dispute this figure but to scale it up over a year means we are wasting £20-25million per year. Even if this figure is slightly exaggerated and the real figure is £300-400k pw then this equates to £15-20million pa.

We have made some strong signings so far but with these figures in mind it is easy to understand the need to reduce these figures significantly. If we mange this then I think there may be a couple more signings.

Ed, do you think some players will be given a golden handshake to leave, costly in the short-term but cheaper long-term?

Also, was there a reason why El Zhar, rumoured to be on £30k pw, was playing with the reserves rather than going to the far east. Is a message being sent to him about his Anfield future?

RedKev {Ed002's Note - The club will no doubt be trying to figure out how to best deal with moving the fringe players on. Options (in order of preference) are:

(a) Sell them (e.g. Mavinga);
(b) Let them leave on a free (e.g Jovanovic) - it means paying up any outstanding signing on fee and bonuses;
(c) Agree to release them from their contract for a negotiated settlement figure - perhaps all of any outstanding signing on fee and bonuses but half of the wages that would be due for the remainder of the contract;
{d) Release them from their contract - paying up all outstanding signing on fees, bonuses and wages that would be due for the remainder of the contract.}

After a successful tour of Asia i think KK and DC could well have got some ideas about the talents in Asia.

Eds any ideas about players from Asia who Liverpool have been linked with recently?

I believe Park Chu-Young was a possibility.

Nathan {Ed002's Note - He is a possibility but has offers on the table from Schalke and from Lille. Refer to an earlier post about buying just to tap in to the market though.}

Getting fed up of all the rumours about higuain aguero benzema etc. and all those saying we have no back up striker if luis or Andy get injured . Liverpool most constructive attacking and productive goal scoring was when Luis and dirk were interchange positions . How long will it take for certain parties to realise just what it is players like dirk and Lucas bring to our club yet half of you have them warming the bench and playing in the reserves. Man Utd have their battles , chavski Not having them cost them the league and arsenal and spurs have not had these sort of players for years. OUR priority now should be offloading the likes of degan Jova etc then sorting a bit of depth in defence something we desperately need.

Ed, do you know if the report of our intrest in Joan Capdevila are real?
I know he is 33 but i think this may be an good option so Robinson could go on loan this season and maybe make the leftback position his next season.

Cheers, Nicky {Ed002's Note - I really don't see any interest and the cost of having him at the club for a year or two could be painful with his signing on fee and salary. I rather expect him to be moving to Benfica.}

Morning Ed
There seems to be a lot of discussion about a new centre back with my opinion below

Carra - Excellent leadership but getting old and slower
Srktel - Got better since KK and SC came in but still inconsistent
Agger - Technically best of the bunch but injured too much
Soto - The lad tries and is ok in the physical games but lacks mobility

So do we give Ayala and Wilson a run in the team in the coming friendlys or aren't they good/experienced enough for the first team yet?

And would you spend £10Mill + on Dann a centre back who may not be fully fit yet and who played in a team who got relegated

£15 Mill+ for Godin who has no EPL expererience

OR £15Mill + for Cahill who seems wants to goto Arsenal

What would you do? Give youth a chance or bring someone in?

thanks

RedDan {Ed002's Note - I suspect Wilson could go out on loan. A decision needs to be made over Ayala and possibly Agger. I expect that efforts may be made to recruit Dann.}

I play football with Scott Dann's mate at BRNESC FC in Aintree. I can guarantee that he is holding out for a 'dream' move to Liverpool but no contact has yet been made. His agent has pushed the idea when LFC enquired but thinks Bimingham will hold out for too much money to what LFC think he is worth. They want £12-14m, LFC only willing to pay £9m. I will see them at training tonight so may find out more. Also, the only other player to come in this transfer window will be Enrique as Newcastle willing to sell as he wants to go and they want the money. A fee of around £13m should seal it. Enrique happy to join LFC as the direction the club is going he believes will be in Ch Lg next season. That will be the only incomings this transfer window (maybe a couple of youngsters) and FSG are wanting to dramatically cut the wage overheads before they entertain any more signings.

You heard it here first from Tommy Tugger so get your mortgage on Dann & Enrique

Eds I remember a while ago there was lots of reported interest in Diego, why has interest died down/gone? Also any news on cissokho? Great site btw {Ed002's Note - Diego may be going to Atletico Madrid. Botofogo, Sporting Lisbon and Galatasaray have also shown an interest. As for Cissokho, I thought I had exhausted that completely already.}

Blackburn have put a bid in for Keisuke Honda, £7 Million, thats a bargain, we should match it.

Any chance of Victor Namo as a backup striker? Cheers. {Ed009's Note - I am afraid I can't help you as I have not heard his name mentioned with regards to Liverpool interest.}

And the rumours never stop.
Liverpool are considering using current centre-back Christian Poulsen as a bargaining chip in bringing highly rated and Arsenal target Mathias J rgensen to Anfield this summer.

Whilst recent reports state that Poulsen s agent has denied the defender will be leaving Liverpool FC this summer, the management are keen on 21 year old J rgensen believing him to be a perfect up and coming defender. His club, FC Kopenhagen have already noticed interest from abroad and will only allow him to leave should the right offer be made.

Should Liverpool beat Arsenal by offering Poulsen plus cash for the Danish defender then Wenger is likely to be livid at having lost out on such a promising young player.
Sounds good if it's true. From Footy Bunker {Ed001's Note - sounds terrible to me, considering Poulsen is a midfielder, think that tells us all we need to know about the accuracy of it.}

Hi Eds, what are the chances of signing Teteh and Mohamed Bangura from AIK? My uncle said we've been rumoured to be interested in them, just wanted to know what you thought?

Great site {Ed002's Note - Teteh Bangura is attracting interest from a few mid table Turkish sides; of course having just scored four goals brings on the curse of MOTD fever and the link to Liverpool. I would suggest the chances are not terribly good.}
