Can anyone confirm if this interest in Gavi of Barcelona is true? Constantly linked with us of late, which I know means nothing, but reading now we have allegedly offered a 6 million euro contract.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Gavi (CM) Barcelona will not sell and that has been shared with Manchester City, Chelsea and PSG who enquired. Liverpool and Bayern Munich have sent scouts to watch him. He will get a new contract with a Buy Out clause which will make him pretty much untouchable. Still a kiddie.}

Ed002, any chance of a St Patrick's day treat.

Could you provide a player or two that you think is likely high on Liverpool's summer transfer list of targets?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - The club will push for Fabio Carvalho. I would not rule out a move for Jarrod Bowen. Renewals will be important.}

Whao. If we do get Bowen, we’ll have a super strong front 6 that can rotate a lot more and keep things fresh.

Would you say midfield will be our priority? As it stands, we are pretty strong and stocked in all other areas of the pitch but midfield may need some upgrades in there.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - The club will look to making changes but I doubt there will be significant changes. The forwards are getting older and something will need to be done before too long. I can see one or two midfield changes.}

If we're bring in Bowen would it be to soften the loss of Origi and Taki going?

I hope taki can stay
He is a good utility man for front 3 and midfield 2.

Personally would sell keita ox and taki to sign bowen. Maybe west ham would take keita and a big fee.
Either way ox has to go unless he really proves it now till end of season he can get back to where he was.
As for taki. maybe 1 more year? He took us to that cup final after all. If we get a good offer though I'd sell. he's easy worth 20mill to someone mid table in prem.

Bowen makes perfect sense if Salah doesn’t re-sign. It’ll be almost impossible to replace Salah so we need to be careful not to hold any incoming players against that standard, but Bowen could easily be another Jota type signing and he seems to be a perfect Klopp style player IMO.

We are apparently interested in Rashford, can't see that happening.

What for? Making sure all the players have a packed lunch?

Proper coach would bring the best out of that kid. Remember he hasn't been coached properly in 3 years.

And even if we were remotely interested in him, the odds of Man U selling to us are about a billion to one.

Not saying we are or aren't SR. I'm saying he's a very good footballer who has been left to his own devices in a team with no direction and has lost his way. Klopp would absolutely revive him.

You mean to replace Luis Diaz 🤣🤣🤣.

It won’t happen but agree with OMM Rashford under Klopp would be lethal.

Rashford has everything, he just needs the right home.
Besides the ManU - Liverpool thing I'm not sure we are a likely destination anyways as we have Diaz and Mane down the left. Not sure he would be a candidate for the #9 role the way we use it.

Rashford is massively overrated for me and doesn’t even get on our bench.
Regardless of coaching if he had everything he’d be able to make a 5 yard pass and shoot vaguely near the goal.
Just another hyped up average English player.
Great bloke though off the pitch obviously.

On one hand, Rashford is a top-grade human being. On the other, he’s an overrated ManU reject who will cost us an arm and a leg. No thanks.

Oh mane mane. he is shocking. Bang average at very best. Don't even know a single United fan that rates him. hence his nickname Gashford. It it wasn't for feeding the kids and charity work, he'd be in serious limbo now. Every week he's being criticised for being lax lazy and uninterested in the game. He's just a poor player thrown in at the deep end when mourinho was struggling.

I actually disagree. If klopp had gone to United I think he would have made rashford and martial as good as mane and salah.
I feel sorry for them, very talented players rotting/ rotted in a poorly run club.
I do how ever LOVE the fact united are terrible 😂😂. 1 down 3 to go👍.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed0666's Note - I disagree mate I don’t think martial or RashFord had the ceiling Salah & Mane had. However I do agree Klopp would have made them better than they are now. I wouldn’t mind RashFord now tbh. His confidence and self esteem in tatters the fans hate him he’s push a move through to Anfield in a heartbeat. That would be the ultimate irony RashFord coming to us and winning things.

Mcfly that is the best answer I’ve seen in ages.

Rashford definitely improves us. And when I say us I mean our reserves. I’d imagine he would start most games for them.

Rashford does not make our bench lads what you lot been smoking? Mediocre player and Man U is certainly his level.

Great human being and a big talent once, but lost out through a lack of quality coaching and mentorship of junior players over last few years at Man Utd, and hard to recover that lost ground now. Would have been a far better for him if had been at Liverpool, City or Chelsea.

Hi ed002, hope you are doing well.

Do you think Dortmund would be open to selling Bellingham this summer?

If so, is there genuine interest in him from Liverpool?

Thank you in advance.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Jude Bellingham (CM) Manchester United and Chelsea were keen before he moved to Germany and would be interested again when he is made available for sale – and expect interest from Manchester City and Liverpool as well. Dortmund will not be forced in to selling him this summer and will seek a huge fee when he is sold. Reasonably I would discount Manchester United as being an attractive option, but expect Real Madrid, if Haaland moves elsewhere, to throw their hat in to the ring. One for 2023 perhaps?}

Think his next move is back to the uk!
Genuinely think we’ve a chance of he does.
