Eds would we ever go for cristian tello.
I remember there used to be a lot of interest in him years ago but it all went quiet. He's still only 23.

{Ed002's Note - It's not going to happen.}

What goalkeepers are potentially available as targets for LFC this January?

In your opinion eds, who would be the best option to bring in?

Believable1 Unbelievable6

{Ed002's Note - Ruddy is certainly an option. Chances of Valdez were blown. Others are freebies for next summer.}

Ruddy would be a massive mistake.

Agree3 Disagree0

Dear god not Ruddy please, I'd rather Brad Jones until summer instead.

Ed, can I be so bold as to ask for more info on what exactly happened with Valdes? What was said or done by whom? I tried but couldn't find out about it anywhere. Would appreciate as much (discreet as you always are) insight as you can give.

Thanks a billion! :)

Agree1 Disagree1

{Ed002's Note - It is unimportant.}

Living in Norfolk I see quite a bit of Ruddy,he has three good matches then two dodgy ones definitely not the answer !

Agree2 Disagree0

Suarez showed Ruddy's lack of quality time and time again.

Hi edz do you have any news on the possibility of signing cech? Loan or permenant?

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - The club would like him to stay through to the summer but Cech wants to be playing. Enquiries have been made by Monaco, Real Madrid (who have moved their attention elsewhere), AC Milan, Roma (whose Morgan De Sanctis has signed a new deal) and Arsenal.}

Valdez and Ruddy are both as poor as the keepers we already have, I'd hope our alleged committee have more sense than to waste more money on either of those two.

Agree0 Disagree0

How about Begovic?

Is he looking for a move?

Agree0 Disagree1

I'd target Sergio Romero in January and Karius in the summer as no2. I doubt Mignolet can come back as no1 and be fully trusted. Selling him in the summer makes more sense, he would make us more money than both Romero and Karius would cost together. Romero would be cheap in January and Loris Karius would be free in the summer. Both are low risk, Karius has the potential to go far.

Believable4 Unbelievable3

{Ed002's Note - There is no such agreement.}

Hi eds.

A few media outlets are reporting today that we're going in for Bony in Jan. I could believe this, if we were to offload Borini and maybe Ballotelli. Guessing he'll cost more than we could have paid for him in the summer.

Can you shed any light on this?

Believable4 Unbelievable11

{Ed002's Note - I cannot see Swansea wanting to sell after Bony signed a new contract. And he will be off at the ACN.}

I agree with ed that ship has now sailed

Agree1 Disagree0

If we could get him to hand in a transfer request and push through the move it will be hard for Swansea to keep hold of him.

Agree0 Disagree2

{Ed002's Note - That would be tapping up.}

Sorry if been mentioned in past.
Have we shown any interest in Paulo Dybala. Very skillfull, technical and tough player and finds the back of the net regularly. Reminds me of a certain South American No.7 we used to have.
Thanks and have a good day.

Believable7 Unbelievable9

I asked on here about him in the summer window and no one knew who he was. Gifted player IMO

I thought the lad was off to Dortmund for a figure in the region of £30m.

Agree1 Disagree0

Would love him at our club!

There is an answer to this question by Ed002 sometime back if I remember. Parlemo wants an extension but the player would be available for a sale at 50 mill Euros. Arsenal had declared interest but would put off from the asking price.

A very good gifted player similar to Aguero

Eds prob a ridiculous question but with rafa looking on the brink at napoli would we look to him as caretaker if he were to be sacked, before looking to de boer (or whoever) in the summer. Although i wasnt loving him before he left he certainly made us difficult to beat and was decent in the european cups, also did a decent job at chelsea. I know it would seem a step in the wrong direction but the ship needs to be steadied.

Believable2 Unbelievable9

{Ed001's Note - I know some sections of the media are suggesting it, and Rafa is desperate to come back himself, but there is still a number of influential people within the club who would be dead set against him coming back. All love Rafa as a man, but very few think he is the right man to move us forward, for similar reasons to it having been a mistake to let Kenny try his hand at caretaker manager.}

Rafa will not excite a lot here who wants X to play over Y and Z over Q. His squad rotation is famous. He might also bring Bennayon with him from retirement.
Do you want him here?
