Ed's/ Macca

Have we made a bid for Marko Marin?
I was watching highlights of the Bundesliga on Espn today and i heard the commentator say something about Liverpool making a opening bid of 10 million euros, he then said then that weder bremen where due to go under a massive rebuilding process as well

What do you make of it ed's/ macca?

I think he would be a amazing player for us, can play on either wing or in the hole, amazing vision, good pass and posseses a good shot as well, i think he should be one of our top targets for this summer IMO

Dan {Ed001's Note - the story all came from Bild, there was interest a while back, I have not heard of it being revived for the summer though, other than this one story.}

16 May 2011 22:14:21
Read about Alexendar Pato of Milan in rumars. ED if its true then please ask KK not to do so, too many injury in every month. good player but very much of injury porn. I live in Italy watch lots of him.

16 May 2011 22:13:48
Ed

Are liverpool closing in on agureo or is it just speculation. I heared that the odds of him going to liverpool have dropped and are now favourites?

{Ed002's Note - I refer to earlier posts.}

16 May 2011 22:10:33
Hey Ed. We've been linked with Hamit Altintop recently. you think he'll be a good signing and squad player?

cheers Ed

Double B {Ed002's Note - He is on the maybe list for me. I am not convinced.}

16 May 2011 22:02:06
eds anythin on liverpool wanting Niko Kranjcar ? sky odds liverpool 11/4

{Ed002's Note - They are pretty far out odds I am afraid. Sounds like he is nailed on elsewhere and no odds offered. If they have odds on Roma then take a punt.}

16 May 2011 21:52:41
Editors, do you think Napoli will be willing to sell Fabio Quagliarella after a season long loan to Juventus? Cheers. {Ed002's Note - Napoli want to make the move of Cavani permanent and offer up a player, cash and part ownership of a couple of youngsters. Part of the problem is that the player they wish to offer Palermo (Fabio Quagliarella) is on a loan deal to Juventus with an option to buy at the end of the loan, albeit he is out injured right now. Manchester City, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal have at one time shown an interest. I think it is unlikely that he will move to Liverpool.}

16 May 2011 21:45:39
Ed, do you know of anything regarding interest in Phillipe Coutinho of Inter? He looks quality. {Ed002's Note - Inter have offered to loan Coutinho to Bologna as part of the Gaston Ramirez deal. I don't think they want to sell but suspect they will listen to offers. So a chance.}

Liverpool will make a three surprise signings this transfer window. Aguero, Mata and Krasic
- - - - - - - - - - - -
There's a small amount of truth to this, LFC did enquire a couple of months ago to which Juve said no, but krasic has been disappointing in second half of season and Juve could be tempted. Unknown if Krasic is interested though.

I was at a wedding this weekend and got sat next to an Italian guy who worked for Fiat who are owned by the same guys who own Juventus. He was telling me how the Anellis [spelling] who own juve have no interest in taking the option to buy Aqua is he has not had the impact they expected!

Any news regarding Clichy Ed ?

Btw Webb should bee given a squad number next season. Fergie R*nt Boy. {Ed001's Note - no news, he is still in talks over a contract extension at Arsenal, they are trying to get him to sign a new one, but it is looking less and less likely.}

I just read this article online at ESPN. An interview with Reina regarding his commitment to the club and his thoughts regarding the future. I've pasted an interesting segment from the article.

- 'He told reporters: "I think the owners are preparing a big summer and hopefully we are going to be right in there with transfers and those players who are coming in will help us to improve the squad." '

What I find interesting is the phrase, "and those players WHO ARE coming in will help us to improve the squad."

'Who ARE coming in' is the interesting part. Usually, when being coached before a press conference or interview, it's fairly common to be given guidelines so as not to give away any details regarding particular subject matter, especially when questions are posed by persistent reporters. This is why, often, you will hear the same answer repeated over and over when being queried from different angles on a certain subject. What is interesting here is that Reina may (and I stress 'may') have let slip with a perfectly natural sentence, perhaps hinting that he knows about some firm plans for incoming transfers, or it may just be an innocent slip and the way he talks. Just caught my eye and thought it was worth posting.

Please post on the rumours page Eds. I'll echo the majority and say great site, keep it up.

And please don't jump on me for any typos or grammatical shortcomings. I'm on my ipad in a meeting, so this is unedited!

Greetings from SoCal,
KG

Liverpool not going in for Gary Cahill any longer as Man City have come in for him and pushed the price up to nearly £20m. Attentions have been turned to Jan Vertonghen of Ajax. Jose Enrique is looking less likely - Dalglish has made a personal check on Aly Cissokho and likes him. If Agger leaves Liverpool will move for Phil Jones who has an asking price of £9m.

Charlie Adam has fallen down the list. Dalglish wants James McCarthy and Comolli believes he fits the bill perfectly, a bid has been made for Blaise Matuidi and Comolli hopes to wrap up the two for £15m.

Liverpool have also been quoted £20m for Mata and £22m for Benzema. No moves been made just passing that on. Not saying a move will be made either but Comolli loves Benzema.

Aaron Lennon wants to come to Liverpool. He's fed up at Tottenham and a swap deal for J.Cole is possible, however he is not first-choice. Ashley Young deal ready to go for around £15m.

I know someone who works at melwood and i have heard some of the staff talking about transfers and Pepe is defo staying, he told a couple of the physio's that the news about him wanting to go and then went on to say that he knows that Mata's and Young's agents have both been at melwood and held talks with the guys from Liverpool :D, another thing he heard was that a player has been to melwood to talk to kenny, he didn't here the name properly but he thinks the name began with a B ?? Kun Aguero's representatives have been in contact with Liverpool aswell and Maxi is being kept for he recet performances and is being used to help Aguero settle in, as he will be staying with him whilst he finds a house :D

I have it on good authority that the player beginning with B is not Titus Bramble because he's s**t.

16 May 2011 19:46:00
I've heard one of the reasons Pepe is staying is because a couple of Spanish players are due this summer one of them is supposed to be Mata. I hope so I hear he has been learning English over the past few years and is ready for life in the prem he already has friends at Liverpool and is guaranteed first team football now its just a case of agreeing a fee.

Dear Eds,
For the third time of asking, what would make of Mark Noble of West Ham United as a possible signing, young, bag loads of ability, and would be a much cheaper than Scott Parker.
Every one is going on about signing the world and his dog, i think Noble, Jarvis and James McCarthy of the 3 possible relegation teams would be good signings. Also take into account that KK said it doesn't matter if you spend big or small but spend effectively, and I believe these signings would help improve the squad.
Your thoughts PLEASE EDs!

Rebel_Red {Ed002's Note - Mark Noble is a decent player - but just another possible option for midfield and one the club has no interest in at present. I could add dozens more, but what's the point?}

Here is my list of players that I would like (not all of them but from this list) and that i think would also be possible and realistic targets. Ed how close do you think I may be
Cissokho
Sakho
Sissoko
Enrique
Izzaguire
Gago
Pjanic
Mata
Honda
Turan (I know it's very unlikely but if we wanted him I'm sure he would come)
Vucinic
Johnson
Barrios

Chris in Tamworth
Llorente {Ed002's Note - Most seem viable Chris.}

Ed, There was a interview with Sakho on Sky's website, and he was saying he wants to stay at PSG for another year? Have you heard anything? Thanks Ross {Ed002's Note - It may have lost something in translation.}

16 May 2011 18:56:58
Hi ed, i just heard that now west ham are relegated that scott parker is now a free agent, apparntly this was writen into his last contract. for me scott parker has been the prem player of the season, i think he would be a amazing signing for us. your thoughts ed please. {Ed002's Note - I really don't know anything of him being a free agent I am afraid. I expect he will not be moving to Anfield regardless. He must be around 30 now.}

16 May 2011 18:54:07
{Ed001's Note - I think it shows how Aqualani has failed to live up to expectations or they would put their hands in their pockets and meet the asking price before someone else gets him.}

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

Aqua boy had a very good first half to the season, and was central to everything Juve did on the pitch, I don't know how he performed recently ? but I would guess Juve reluctant to pay the money is due to their knowledge that the player doesn't want to come back, and they are playing on this fact, and I would guess Aqualani is probably an involved party in this.
I would guess he will still end up being a juve player at a slightly reduced price.
Roy

16 May 2011 18:51:25
Fernando Gago would be an absolute bargain at £6m, why don't we go for him!?

is there any interest?

16 May 2011 18:48:33
whats this whole friedel thing ed?
did the post come from the real macca before and if he is coming is it to replace reina or is he just to be sub keeper? {Ed002's Note - I refer to Macca's earlier posts rather than mine on this occasion.}

Liverpool looking to take advantage of relegated teams, with Scott Parker, Charles N'Zogbia, Matt Jarvis, Charlie Adam, Phil Jones and a possible move for Chris Samba on the cards. All for less than 10 million each bar Phil Jones. Obviously they will not sign all of these players but a couple may come in as squad additions and first team signings are more likely to come from abroad and at a higher price. e.g. Sakho, Aguero, Muniain etc
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Last 4 are maybe but not Parker. .

{Ed002's Note - Let me get my head round this. Liverpool want to do better next season and propose going about this by buying up all of the players from the teams who did worse this season.}

16 May 2011 18:27:38
Liverpool have made bids for both marko marin and blaise matuidi , don't know if they have been accepted or not but lfc in definite contact.

16 May 2011 18:22:29
Eds do we have even the slightest chance of getting hazard: cheers

{Ed002's Note - It rather depends how you define "slight". But I guess the best answer is it is very unlikely.}

16 May 2011 18:18:20
Hi Ed002 im the guy who sent the email regarding the £600 million transfer kitty etc and you said great news but as its you 002 im sensing a huge amount of sarcasm :) but just to put the whole email to rest would Kenny or Lfc have a job with communications in the title and if they do would they be close to Kenny because he said his friend was basically kenny's right hand man, Like in said i do not believe what this guy said but i sadly have a small glimmer of hope inside me that it's true

{Ed002's Note - Sure there will be at least one person with "Communications" in their job title and they may well be buddies with Mr Dalglish or his "right hand" man. I am slightly suspicious that you contact may be exaggerating just a little. You see, financially, the owners do not have anything like that sort of money to invest in players. If they could borrow the money it would be crippling and unsustainable – and to put matters in to context the club turned over less than £200M in total last season. There was me thinking the club was going to be run responsibly. I look forward to tomorrow morning when we see how the £600M is to be spent. I remain humbly the sarcastic personification of evil as you suggest. I am well aware the hate brigade will be out now demanding I am thrown off the site for not belieiving that Liverpool have £600M to spend this summer. I'll take it on the chin.}

16 May 2011 17:55:05
Ok guys im only repeating what i was told by a guy i was working with on saturday night he said his friend was a communications something or other not sure of the full title for King Kenny and APPARENTLY this guy sent him an email saying Young and Lennon are dead certs to come and were looking at a young brazilian lad who has only played in Brazil and nowhere else i mentioned Neymar but he couldnt remember the players name now here's the icing on the cake he also said the Yonks have given Kenny £600million to out do major teams for players we want. .Now guys don't shoot me cos i don't believe this im just repeating what i was told

{Ed002's Note - Great news, thanks for sharing.}

16 May 2011 17:45:46
Juan Mata
Ashley Young
Phil Jones
Moussa Sissoko
Jose Enrique
Karim Benzema
Sylvian Marveaux
Brad Freidel

Marveaux, Young, Friedel and Enrique expected to be annouced first.

Friedel's deal will include a coaching role as well. Simillar to Big Samii's at Leverkusen.

16 May 2011 17:36:50
i know thru a good mate with an ear to the ground the gist of liverpools likely targets they are: ashley young for pace on the wings, sakho - great left back and can cover the centre too and m'vila in centre mid. . as far as he knows these will be the only people who go straight in to starting 11 the rest will be on young talent with tons of potential! outs are the usual names on here!

Any interest in Altintop Ed?
Thanks
Burnsy {Ed002's Note - Some clubs have an interest. Liverpool have enquired.}

16 May 2011 17:17:09
Hi again Ed,
Can Marveaux sign as a free transfer the minute the window opens in England, or do we have to wait to the international window opens?

I just saw these names posted, and bar Benzema do they seem possibles, or would Cissokho be to costly, from Lyon?

Cissokho, Matuidi, McCarthy, Young, Friedel, Jones, Vertonghen, Marin, Benzema
Also, do you know of any intrest in Vertonghen as we know of intrest of all the other, but maybe not Friedel or Cissokho.

Do you know of any interest in Friedel, and do you believe he would be a player/ coach?

Thanks,
Burnsy

P.S( when does the English transfer window open, and the international window open, is it Sunday here and June 1st for international transfers?)

Finally, do you know of any intrest in Vertonghen as we know of intrest of all the other, but maybe not Friedel or Cissokho. {Ed002's Note - The English transfer window opens next Monday. UNless released from his contract Marveaux will join on July 1. The others are discussed constantly, you will have to read the posts rather than rely on me to summarise I am afraid.}

16 May 2011 17:27:15
This story is on SS, but could somebody explain to me why we need him, hasn't Pepe said he wants to stay? And surely Freidel does not want to be a reserve keeper when he can be first choice some where else?
= = = = = = = = = = = =

would it be a coaching role maybe? hes what? 40. i can see him as back up for a year then coaching.

Just to clear this scotty parker rumour, yes he was at the chelsea v spurs game at the bridge. No, no former players can have a 'special seat', imagine how many they would have to hand out if ALL ex players wanted 'special seats'? Yes tickets are given to ex legends and some ex legends work as match day hosts but parker is neither, yes parker was a guest of jamie redknapp and yes parker is a spurs fan and yes the football writers player of the year seems likely to to spurs BUT there could well be a hitch? marko marin is the big BUT it seems harry redknapp is looking for barcelona style midfield of modric, marin and sandro?

Joe the Red {Ed002's Note - Aguero's agents have a meeting today with Juventus in Turin, probably to look at whatever package they have come up with.}

Believe it or not we are still very much interested in Aguero and tried for him back in January and will be going for him in the summer. Talks have been positive, back in January and recently.
His agent was at the game Sunday along with FSG.

Scott Parker won't be signing for Liverpool, at 30 y.o. (31 in October) and 6-8 million in price he is too expensive and with no sell on value.

Liverpool are more likely to spend the money on Charlie Adam as he is only 25, same price range. He s at a similar ability level and with the his age can be sold on if it doesn t work out.

This is of course if Dalglish still sees the need for a CM with Gerrard, Meireless, Lucas, Spearing, Shelvey all in contention (Aquilani / Poulsen assumed to be leaving)

16 May 2011 13:21:33
With Jose Enrique looking more likely to stay at Newcastle, Dalglish and Comolli have identified Aly Cissokho as our new left back. He would cost the same as Enrique at 12-14m, but the Frenchman's experience in the Champions League and the National Team are what we are looking for. As for a centre back, our attentions have suddenly turned to Jan Vertonghen. The Belgian has received rave reviews following his performances for Ajax. He also comes from the renowned Germinal Beer academy in Belgium, where many Belgian stars have developed. His close friendship with Suarez from his Ajax days could give us an advantage in the race for his signature, as Arsenal are keen on him too. He would cost in the range of 9-12m.

Freidel very close to joining.

Macca

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

This story is on SS, but could somebody explain to me why we need him, hasn't Pepe said he wants to stay? And surely Freidel does not want to be a reserve keeper when he can be first choice some where else?

Signings I would like to see this summer, that seem viable.

Cahill
Baines (Not likely) / Enrique
Adam (for ball distribution when Gerrard is injured)
Young
The German Messi - can't remember his name.

Gaz YNWA.

Jay Spearing played 9 games in Europe this season. I would think that this is a good example of the advantages of the europa league.

An aside, do you reckon there will be many scouts at the europa league final this week, checking out the Porto's team?

Scott Parker was a guest of Jamie Rednapps at the Chelsea Spurs game, as an ex Chelsea player he can watch games there whenever he likes, he has never taken up that option and has not been back there since he left, he was there to meet Spurs reprsetatives.

**********************************
If he can go there whenever he likes then why would he go as as guest??? And why Jamie Redknapp's guest anyway. . Doesn't make sense, but whatever Scott Parker does has nothing to do with Liverpool football club anyway, i'd rather give Jonjo the chance to progress

Ed2 you are wrong about the extra europa place it goes to 6th in league so liverpool are in confirmed by sky sports news or do you know more than them HA HA

{Ed002's Note - I guess I do. Please read the earlier posts where I have explained who will be in teh Europa League next season.}

To this guy and any others,
Listen up people if we finish 6th we will NOT, I repeat NOT be in the Europa league next season end of story, to be honest I'm glad, let's just focus on the league, so lay off the edds

Dear Ed just wondering how likely to join is Dimitri Payet as I really rate him as a great player with even better potential ?

Also just quickly because we did not sign Honda in january does it mean we are not interested or are their other reason he did not sign ?

cheers ed

{Ed002's Note - Payet is viable option, and a player who wants out of St-Et. The opposition will be Paris Saint Germain. As for Honda, it would have been better and probably cheaper to go for the player in January - so it makes no sense to me.}

16 May 2011 11:19:00
Klose is out of contract and we have certainly missed a super sub maybe he is a viable option ed? {Ed002's Note - I don't think Klose is a viable option. His wages including a very significant signing on fee and age would likely be a problem. No interest from Liverpool. Rumoured interest from Everton. Hamburg and Hannover are the only confirmed links I have. There is a note about possible Spurs and PSV interest but that seems to be speculation.}

Chelsea and Manchester United are tracking 22-year-old Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero, Metro reported, citing his agent Bruno Satin.

Aguero, the son-in-law of World Cup winner Diego Maradona, turned down their offers and said he will see out his contract with the Spanish team that ends in 2014, the newspaper added.So can we please stop the (kun) rumours as I first posted back in the summer (ken) might be putting pen to paper on a 5 year deal worth £75 a week plus add ons so let's stop this carp an just all wait an see who comes an whoever it is am sure we'll all be please thanks remember the name ha ha gets me everytime erm oh ye remember the name am suarez's left ollie

{Ed002's Note - Just to be clear here, Manchester United and Chelsea have had offers for the player rejected. His options, unless someone comes back in or another side emerges, are Juventus, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. There are discussions going on today with Juventus to see what they can offer.}

16 May 2011 11:04:11
Liverpool will NOT sign Leighton Baines from everton, we are most likely to sign Jose enrique or Maynor Figueroa.

Ashley Young is also unlikely to sign as he says he wants to win trophies.

16 May 2011 10:55:11
My source suggests that Liverpool will be signing West Ham midfielder Thomas Hitzlesperger as a cheap replacement for the outgoing Christian Poulson. Hitzlesperger has been in fine form for West Ham and one of their bright sparks since returning from injury.
Due to West Ham's relegation, the price for the German international would not be too high. He has a sublime passing range and wicked left foot that he can score from distance with. . Something Liverpool have lacked since Riise. Not bad for a squad player?

16 May 2011 10:46:39
Ed, wgat do you think about the upcoming rumours about Adel Taraabt joining liverpool? {Ed002's Note - I think that he may have some very good options from mainland Europe.}

16 May 2011 10:41:05
sky did actually say the place will go the sixth place in the premier league(liverpool) but the ed is correct .sky have since tweaked their story indicating its spurs or blackpool who are favourites if spurs end up in 5th place

{Ed002's Note - I had not realised Sky had gotten it wrong, so just to re-iterate. The only way for Liverpool to get in to the Europa League is to for the club to get a better result at Aston Villa than Spurs do at home to Birmingham. The 2011-2012 EPL Europa League places are assigned, for this season, as follows:

League Cup Winners: Birmingham City
FA Cup Runners Up: Stoke City
Fifth in EPL: Liverpool or Tottenham
Fair Play League: Tottenham (if Liverpool manages to get to fifth place), Fulham or possibly Blackpool depending on the outcome of the Fair Play League.

The Fair League Place goes to the highest placed team in the FPL not already qualified for Europe, so it will be if Spurs (if Liverpool manages to get to fifth place), Fulham (which is most likely) or just possibly Blackpool (very unlikely).}

16 May 2011 10:38:09
Liverpool possibly to sign Keisuke Honda and left back either Fabio Coentrao or Leighton Baines .

16 May 2011 10:35:32
Brad Friedel to make return to LFC.

True or just his agent trying to stir up interest?

Sorry Ed,
I didn't phrase it very well did I.
What I meant to ask was,
Is M Sissoko more likely than C Adam, or J McCarthy?

Is Enrique still our most likely LB,
and do you think we will do our business early in the window,

Thanks,
Burnsy

{Ed002's Note - I'll do what I can with this. It is always tough to know which player is most likely. My experience is that clubs will identify a number of possible targets and then go out and see who is available and at what price and a decision will then be taken to prioritise them - really a prefered target being identified. In terms of teh midfield I really don't know. Certainly Liverpool have looked at options in France and we know of the previous interest in Charlie Adam. Adam seems to be a much higher profile target than I would have expected for both clubs - although this may be influenced by my not being convinced that he is a good enough player for the top level of the EPL and he does not come across who is going to want to settle in to occasional appearances as a squad player. I fugure that Spurs may not be able to fend of interest in Sandro and perhaps will have the desire to move for Adam. Sissoko is available and would be interested, but who is the more likely to join Liverpool I don't know. I am unclear over the whole Enrique issue. Everything was sparked by a statement on television. There is nothing to tell me it is a "done deal" yet. There are two transfer windows so it rather depends where Liverpool will be doing their shopping. Everybody buying wishes to complete transactions early, everybody selling wants to wait for the best price. So we have to wait and see.}

Phil Jones of Blackburn, did anyone else think that his performance on Saturday was top top draw.

I don't know how much he would cost, and I'm sure SAF is floating around, BUT he has got to be the caliber of player we need!

Just a thought.

16 May 2011 09:50:25
Hi Ed,
In a couple of your recent replies to posts you seem to be saying that C Adam or J McCarthy are more likely signing than M Sissoko. Is this the case, or is M Sissoko still the most likely signing after Marveaux.
Also, any more news on wingers who may sign,
and do you still believe Enrique will probable be the left back who joins in the summer?

Thanks very much,
Burnsy

{Ed002's Note - I am not sure which Ed this was aimed at, and sorry Burnsy I can't understand the first paragraph at all. It comes across a little like "Peter has three oranges, and Jane has two apples, on what day of the week was Jum born. There is nothing new on any wingers who might sign but with the EPL transfer window opening next Monday this will no doubt be a very busy week.}

16 May 2011 09:33:53
just out of interest ed where do you think Aguero will end up? my guess is city or maybe chelsea??? {Ed002's Note - It would be guesswork but Real Madrid and Juventus head the list. Of course, like any other player, Manchester City have the financial muscle to try and broker a deal.}

16 May 2011 09:27:00
Hi Ed, whats the score with Kun? Are we really meeting with his agents today or is this just a load of baloney??

Joe the Red {Ed002's Note - Aguero's agents have a meeting today with Juventus in Turin, probably to look at whatever package they have come up with.}

16 May 2011 09:26:48
Hi good morning ed. Do you know of any likely transfers?? {Ed002's Note - You really need to read the pages yourself, I don't have the time to summarize them for you.}

16 May 2011 09:20:20
Hey Ed's

Can you enlighten me to where all these Aguero rumours are coming from? I assume its over optomistic fans.

Thanks

Adzii {Ed002's Note - Obviously it is impossible for me to say where a rumour starts, but when Koptalk made a link to a video of two architects arriving in a club car at Melwood and suggesting they were Aguero's agents may have had an influence.}

Morning All,

just seen on SSN that UEFA have granted England an extra Europa league spot.

Spurs currently top the fair play league as well as being 5th. So I think 6th will now be good enough for Europe?

Anyone think differently interpret the rules differently ?

Cheers

James

{Ed002's Note - No, the only way for Liverpool to get in to the Europa League is to for the club to get a better result at Aston Villa than Spurs do at home to Birmingham. The 2011-2012 EPL Europa League places are assigned, for this season, as follows:

Maxi Rodriguez agent i would imagine was arranging the cancellation of his contract so he can leave on a free, his high wages were stopping any interest form other clubs plus LFC need to free up wages for new players.

16 May 2011 08:46:47
BREAKING NEWS ! ! ! !

Liverpool have just agreed fees with villa nd atletico for young (15m) and aguero (40m)

YNWA! ! ! {Ed002's Note - Great news. So I guess that means Aguero's agents can cancel the meeting they had scheduled for today.}

16 May 2011 07:25:39
Liverpool will begin contract negotiations with Maxi Rodriguez and start to discuss personal terms for Ageuro today. It is believed that Ageuro will be willing to take a pay cut in order to join Liverpool FC after turning down Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City. Reports of Juventus sorting a deal out for Ageuro are false as The Old Lady are looking to Lyon and more specifically, Lisandro Lopez for an attacking option.

Morning Ed(s)
Just want your opinion on something. .
It's nearly silly season and so far, in the central midfield department, we've been linked with: Parker / Adam / Sissoko / Mataudi / Gago / Taarbat / Diarra and Altintop to name but a few.
However, KK seems to like playing a 3-man midfield and with Gerrard & Meireles being almost automatic choices, plus the improved performance's of Lucas and the potential of Spearing, Shelvey and Coady, do you actually thing any money will be spent on a central midfielder? I know we need wingers (Jarvis & Downing would be my choices) but surely now, the midfield is fine the way it is - I can easily see Cole & Poulsen going as well.
What are you thoughts? {Ed002's Note - I understand your pooint that central midfield is not the highest priority but the club are aware that in the longer term Gerrard will need replacing. Comolli has set his heart on Sissoko so we will have to wait and see whether or not he gets his man. I don't think there was ever any interest in Diarra, Parker or Gago, but there certainly has been in Adam.}

16 May 2011 04:09:30
KK is very keen to sign players who already have premier league experience and I can confirm the club have already made 'enquiries' for the following players:
Dawson - Spurs
Shawcross - Stoke
Adam - Blackpool
Parker - West Ham
Nolan - Newcastle
Tevez - Man City
Young - Aston Villa
Richards - Man City
Fletcher - Man Utd
Baines - Everton
N'Zogbia - Wigan

KK expects to receive the green light for only one or two players but, in my opinion, all would strenghten the club.
----------------------------------------------

Behave yourself lad, Dawson will not leave Spurs for us. Tevez wants out of England not just City and Fletcher well, do I really even have to say anything? The only players who I believe are a cert to be lining up with Stevie and co. next term are Ashley Young and Jose Enrique.

Idealy/ realistically who I'd like to see come in.
LB: Coentrao/ Enrique
CB: Cahill
CM: Banega/ Adam
LW: Bale/ Young
RW: Hazard/ Arda
CF: Lukaku

16 May 2011 03:39:11
Im sorry but liverpool will not sign aguero. He said he would move to United before Liverpool(shame). Young also prefers United(another shame). Nor will benzema arrive who would go lil paris aka arsenal ahead of pool
players the the king does have a good chance of signing are: marin, lukaku, mata cissokho and honda

please do not believe in most of the posts here as the majority of them are fans on cloud nine typing out the roster they have in FM or fifa

We will spend money on young tallented players with an add on price. . . .

{Ed002's Note - There is a reason the same names get mentioned you know.}
