Rodgers has decided that as his first choice targets for a left back and striker are not available he is going to turn to youth and go for Declan John and Yassine Benzia.

Chris, it looks like Team Unbelievable is trying to run up the score here, but I will not allow them to keep a clean sheet. 35-1!

Just happy to see a rumour on here and no just another lazy information request to an Ed.

How does the amount of "unbelievables" keep going up then down?

Apparently stoke close to buying Assiaidi for an initial 4.5 million with potential to rise to 7 million with add ons.

Good deal for lfc

Agree5 Disagree0

Good profit for us. Shame he never quite worked out, he has a lot of ability. Good luck to him.

Agree8 Disagree0

If true that sounds like a decent deal for both clubs. You don't get much for that money so I think Stoke should be happy with this too.

Agree3 Disagree0

Assaidi worth 7 million? Ehhh, I hope so lol. Hopefully we can get rid of him as well as Lucas for some extra cheese this summer

Tottenham look set to beat Liverpool to the signing of Swansea defender Ben Davies after agreeing a £10million fee for his services.

despite late interest from Liverpool, a newspaper reports that Spurs have had a £10million offer accepted by the Swans for the left-back.

Believable71 Unbelievable34

Thank goodness for that, no better than what we have, not that I thought we were ever in for him.

But this does end any chance of Taylor moving, which I think is a shame, I thought he would be decent.

Ahh well, good luck to the lad.

Agree6 Disagree0

Good!

Agree5 Disagree0

This is the only time I've been happy to see totenham beat us to a player

Agree5 Disagree0

Let us hope that we dodge that silver bullet as I don't think he is good enough

Agree3 Disagree0

That's great news.

Agree3 Disagree0

Not a big enough name for you lot I guess. Well I think he'd be a good buy and I hope and expect that we will get him. Great stats, young, used to the prem and has developed in a club that plays something like BR likes. Perhaps the budget will then stretch to Lovren in the centre.

Agree5 Disagree3

I'm with MM I think he would be a decent addition.

Agree2 Disagree2

I don't think people are glad because he isn't a big enough name. For me anyway I would say he's better than Flanagan going forward but definitely not better than him defensively and between the two I'd rather Flanagan.

Therefore, if he's not better than what we have then why sign him and I think that's what others think too.

Agree2 Disagree0

Phew great news or is it tabloid sh*t again linking us to every available player.(the eds must be saints)

Hey eds, are any clubs interested in the likes of Sturridge and Sterling? Odd that there is no speculation regarding two players who were stand out players last season in the league.

Believable4 Unbelievable45

{Ed002's Note - Not just yet but there is plenty of time still. Real Madrid were impressed with Sterling last season.}

Are u saying that sterling could be subject to a possible bid from real madrid

Agree0 Disagree2

{Ed002's Note - I answered the question that was asked.}

The club will not be selling Raheem anytime soon.

Raheem will do well to stay away from Madrid for the foreseeable future, they have been a graveyard for many young stars in recent times.

Agree6 Disagree0

I really don't think Real Madrid would bid at all. When Sterling is 24/25 and continues to be good, then expect a RM bid.

Agree3 Disagree0

If Real Madrid wamt Sterling than they'll have to pay a lot of money, Shirley Bassey money, I reckon. :)
