Think realistically in summer. It’ll be a CB or 2 (Ben white and Upamecano) and a CM (Bissouma) . Apart from that don’t think we’ll sign anybody else. Maybe a striker if Origi and Shaq both leave. But wouldn’t be a massive signing. Somebody like Ollie Watkins maybe, he’s done very well so far this season.

We are going to get vvd and gomez back, and hopefully a fit matip and jota. That’s like a load of new signings after this season. Shaq has started working and tracking which is making him what we wanted (hopefully it continues) . So really I don’t think we need to do much other than Fred up a few spaces and bring in 1 HG starter and 1 HG squad player, both of which could be already with us.

I reckon salah will go in the summer if he can get one of the Spanish clubs to nibble.
So a replacement for him and a cb (preferably homegrown) plus a replacement for Keita (if we can find a buyer) and I don’t reckon we will see much more business unless there are further outgoings.
Don’t see the need to replace Origi to be honest he doesn’t even get a look in at the minute.

I would have Ben White yeah. Not the others though. I don’t really see a need to bring anyone else in unless people leave. I think a few squad players will be off though.

WYred, I can't believe there are posters on these pages that think there is the slightest chance Salah will be here next season. He will leave in the summer with the blessing of the club. Read the signs.

Ed2 has told us for a long time now that his agent has been trying to get him a move to Real Madrid. If he were to leave it would be Haaland all day long for me. Whether he is attainable is a completely different story though.

I thought Real are targeting Mbappe, Haaland before Salah . would like to see how they can push those 3 signings through and Barcelona are broke, I still think Salah will be here next season even if the club want to sell him.

Imo there is a bigger chance Mane leaves than Salah. Barcelona may be interested if Messi goes, Zidane really likes Mane as well. Mane's wage demands and probably the transfer fee would be lower in comparison to Salah as well.
If the elite clubs are eyeing Mane and Salah, Mane is the more likely they will go for.

The club is starting to transition to the next great Liverpool team so over the next few transfer windows (once this C.V. recedes) we are going to see some of our stars leaving and new future stars coming in.
Without doubt Mane, Salah and two or three more will be leaving as the are reaching their 30's.

I don’t see Salah going RM will sign Mbappe there seems to have been no contact with Barcelona for Salah so that only leaves maybe PSG or Juventus and at 29 I don’t think anybody will pay what we would want for him what would be £100+m in the times we are in.

Squad management has been poor at Liverpool in recent years and the club needs to address the Home Grown issue and, particularly the Club Developed issue which are currently forcing the club to play in the Champions League without a full sized squad.
