Hi Eds. Do we have any interest in Coventry City left back, Sam McCallum?
I've been reading that we are trying to sign him to be cover for Robertson and to eventually be his long term replacement.
A bit of a kick in the teeth to Larouci if true. thanks in advance.

{Ed002's Note - He has certainly been looked at by Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea but I agree that Larouci, and I would think Lewis, would be miffed if he were to come in as first choice cover. I would doubt Liverpool are looking for a long-term replacement of Robertson just yet.}

I guess a lot is expected of him if City and Chelsea are also sniffing. I hadn't heard of him prior to reading this rumour.

He’s a very useful attacking fullback. Played very well when I saw him vs Ipswich 10 days ago.
Stands out in League 1, but not sure if he’s ready to make the jump to the top end of the PL just yet.

I've seen a few who claim to have heard from various people that Sander Berge will be signed in Jan. The story goes that Bobby and Fab needed alternates/ back up as they are so crucial to the system.
Minamino can play in 5 positions, including that of Bobby, and Sander Berge is a deep lying playmaker, who looks to be an absolute beast. Apparently he was blown away by the atmosphere at the home game and JK congratulated him at the end of the match.
personally I would be delighted with these two players in Jan.

And if Berge is better than Grujic, then what's the problem with signing Berge? Agreed Grujic may not have been handled ideally, but he has said he's very happy at Hertha Berlin. He's earning an honest wage. Let him continue.
