I used too knock about there as a kid mate getting pissed causing mischief an sagging off school, I have fabulous memories, even done a nighter in the Chinese gardens, never been the same since them days no wonder they want too knock it down .

I meant the lake was a bit of a bog mate due too little rubbishs pissing throwing crap in there, the park is boss nice taking my kids million miles away from my school days haha.
{Ed025's Note - its always been nice mate and when i was young it was more for the well to do than the riff raff like me, it was botanic park for me with a jam butty and a bottle of water with sherbet in it and i was told to stay there all day...and that was a treat!...where the bloody hell was esther rantzen when i was a nipper?.. :)

I grew up in childwall ed so calderstones was our play ground it's a boss park but money speaks louder than anything and the money hawks seem too have got there way, I used too play footy on botanic park on a Sunday morning for ash Celtic those were the days a distant memory now haha.
{Ed025's Note - i did a bit of refereeing in the edge hill junior soccer league hailstones and remember ash celtic well, i played for action many moons ago so our paths have probably crossed mate..

That's mad isn't it ed small world, it must of been when I was like 12-13 in about 1991 -92-93, rubbish I feel old now haha, have a good weekend ed anyways nice reminiscing.
