Interesting stuff on The Injury Insight about Fekir's knees.
Eds if we assume that Klopp still wants a leftish creative mid, are any of y'all aware of any Liverpool are looking at?

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of Liverpool making efforts to look at any specific left-sided midfield players at this time and I would not expect too much to happen in January beyond clearing the decks if they can of Lazar Markovic and perhaps Chirivella and Origi if he is not being used. They are still looking at players but I am not aware of any desire to add another in midfield at this time.}

What a great article Jurgen Meister, I personally am recovering from an ACL injury right now and I had the same surgery type as Fekir which is interesting (involving the process of replacing your ACL with a cadaver’s) .

Interesting read.
The mere fact that Liverpool went after Fekir so strongly, in knowledge of his knee problems, was surely testament to Klopp’s admiration of his ability.
It’s a shame about his injuries, and I hope he goes on to have a long and successful career, but I do think that pulling out of the deal was the right move in the end.
I don’t know if Fekir had wowed at the World Cup whether that would have made any difference at all, I suspect not, but it doesn’t look likely that Lyon will be getting that type of offer for Fekir in the future.
