For me we should want to get between £8-£12m.

I know we don’t like talking finances here generally but in this day and age Nat Phillips is worth £15m. I personally don’t want to see him leave but that’s a reasonable price for a side to pay.

I finished that post too early, I think and I know they probably have zero interest but I think he would be a great partner for White at Arsenal.

Keep Philips, give him a new contract and loan him out to a PL/ Bundesliga club for a season with a promise to review his and Liverpools CB situation next Summer. In no way would I be selling him for a paltry £8/ £12 million.

Supply and demand we want to sell they want a better price. I like Philips but technically he’s not great. Brilliant defender but not good enough on the ball. He won’t get into the Liverpool team regularly and therefore he should leave to get regular football. He would be decent top end championship player.

Ed0666 give him a new contract loan him to Brighton for the season we should get a couple of million loan fee and watch his price go up after a full season. Hopefully C.V. will be a thing of the past if he plays well he will be a £25m+ player. Forget the signings for this season all goes well great bargaining chip for Bissouma next summer.

Yes he may not be technical whatever that’s supposed to mean but he’s a defender in the truest sense of the word he tries to keep the ball from going in the net. Ed0666 I think he could be a lot better than Carragher as well so much better in the air don’t think the is a great deal in pace between them. He is a lot better on the ball than people give him credit for might not ping the ball 60 yards like VVD but not many can. He would do great at Burnley and if he was there they would be asking £35m+.

Gents/ OP it’s a great notion, and if we can I agree. He would be a good replacement for Matip, or even JG if Matip moves next summer or Joe is pushed out of the 1st team and decides to leave.
I would say moving Origi on and Shaqiri is a more urgent need, really think we need another forward option.
