Hi Eds, With Burnley likley to go down, i was wondering if Liverpool have held any interest in Josh Brownhill? Really like the look of this kid, hard working on and off the ball, i think he could be turned into a good ball winning midfielder, great defensive stats for playing in a very poor team. Have you seen much of the player?

He's a good player for a mid table team like Man United or Everton, but lacks the quality on the ball to play for us in my opinion. He's 26 years old as well so for all action his style of play he's pretty much coming inti his peak few years. He's not much better (if at all) than Jones, Elliott, Carvalho or Morton despite that.

I feel like Nkunku was made for Liverpool.
Any realistic chance Ed's? Have we watched him at all?
{Ed002's Note - Christopher Nkunku (AM/LW/RW) Manchester City have been told by RBL that the player is not for sale. Chelsea and Real Madrid have watched him and he is on their respective lists of potential wingers as all both sides look to shuffle what they have - but he is not top of the list for either - although both are attracted by his versatility, but not the €70M plus asking price. Arsenal provide a very much less attractive solution but have been looking to him for some time - but they won't be an option. Manchester United looked at him as a potential addition to replace Mata and Lingard but with Fernandes and the emergance of Elanga they must address other priorities first. PSG have been speaking with Pini about resigning Nkunku but Pini will want guarantees knowing that PSG are looking at making use of some talented youngsters they have. RBL will resist a move, particularly with growing interest in Szoboszlai.}

Just to be clear, as we are not mentioned in your summary, Liverpool are not interested? I assume we'd need to move someone on to get him but it seems that even if we did we wouldn't go in for him.

Klopp seems to like this lad, how likely is he to leave Villarreal this summer Ed002?
Are Liverpool genuinely interested in him and would he be a Mane replacement?
{Ed002's Note - Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld (LW/F) right footed left winger - was watched by Liverpool in 2019 and 2020 and there were discussions with Lille, Leicester, Southampton, Wolves, West Ham and Wolfsburg. Manchester United have had a very high-end scout who is an ex-PL player look at him on more than one occasion as they look for a possible Rashford replacement. May be an option down the list for Real Madrid. He moved to Villareal nine months ago so it is most unlikely he will be moving any time soon. Liverpool have Mane, Diaz and Jota in a similar position already.}
