Eds do u think morgan schneiderlin would make brilliant cover for lucas? And being that he is only 23 would be a great player in a few seasons?

Was there anything genuine in the Biteco link, the young lad playing in the Brazilian League? Looked a very good prospect from what i've seen of him in highlights on the net. {Ed002's Note - One for the search engine.}

Not a chance of us letting him go at the moment. You will also need a shed load if you make an offer. He is very good and I would put money on the fact that he will at some point go to a big club possibly Spain/ Germany.

I did not see enough from Yarmolenko to justify a whopping 20m plus price-tag- The Italian jorno did say we had bid for him but I am really chuffed we didn't get him based on that last night. {Ed002's Note - Dynamo Kyiv said one formal bid was actually made for Yarmolenko and that was a €27.6M bid from Zenit that was rejected. Other clubs apparently enquired and asked what sort of fee would be acceptable. The answer to all that asked was that they would consider offers above €40M. The figure that it has been suggested that Liverpool had in mind was €12M - I don't know if it was correct or not, but it was the same figure that was proposed for another player. They made no formal bid, and neither did Fiorentina who made a similar enquiry. AC Milan had, apparently, already been put off by the asking price.}

Konoplyanka is the one we should have been looking at!

Hi Eds, you'll hopefully forgive my memory here as I'm getting a little old, but do you know if we held any talks for the young lad Hughes (there's the memory bit, think it was Hughes from Derby. maybe). He was being discussed on here as the infamous 'Gerard replacement' and is highly regarded and I wondered if you had any info as to whether we talked to his club or agent or if you think we may.

I don't think we need him even for the future we have Pelosi who was the best player for the u21 until his 90th minute injury (still not happy about that what was the other boy thinking his team were 2-0 or 3-0 down, the game was finished)

we also have Rossiter, Baio although their more defensive players but at least non of them will cost £10m.

plus Ojo seems to be at a level beyond his age.

and we don't need a midfielder for now as we have gerrard, henderson and allen. we just need cover of DM.

How can you not mention Jack Dunn? He is better than all of them. Rossiter will be very good even further down the road.
