He has an agent in Frederic Guerra who does a really good job of talking up his players without being pushy; and a fabulous technique where he denies interest in his players from major clubs thereby attracting attention to them. It is also likley that he will stay at Napoli - although there is potentially interest from several clubs including Manchester City (who need a replacement for Tevez), AC Milan, Zenit and Inter.}

Hi Ed, is that true that Liverpool are interested by this season's la Ligue 1 sensation Olivier Giroud. He's 25, 1m92, taller than Andy, and scores screamers on every match he plays, he's also La Ligue 1 top scorer so far.. so what do you think? {Ed002's Note - I don't know of any firsm interest from Liverpool and if Giroud moves, I am expect it will be within France.}

ed your a great man to put up with all of this but can you tell me are we looking at any 1 in spain or italy {Ed002's Note - PLayers will have been watched as a matter of day-to-day scouting, but I cannot think of anyone in Spain or Italy that the club have any confirmed interest in at present.}
Is it possible the club are interested in a player from Italy or Spain but they keep their cards held until closer to tge window and therefore the eds wont know about them and so we should just wait.

Ed i saw you said we were scouting the russian league, do you know of any interest in Alan Dzagoev as he is a great player? {Ed002's Note - I guess the search function is broken. Dzagoev has interested Chelsea in the past but Arsenal have shown a lot of interest this year. Not Liverpool so far. But he is available and it is not out of the question .}

BEST SITE EVER!! {Ed001's Note - right now, the only definite player we are 100% interested in is Luuk De Jong, that I know of. Other than that it is not clear, to me at any rate, which players we have a definite interest. I am sure we must still have an interest in Moussa Sissoko though. I am told we are actively scouting the leagues that are coming to a finish (Russian and Scandinavian) before the January window closes, so I am sure we will get a better idea over the next month or so. It is still very early doors though, there is over a month and a half left until the window opens. I really don't expect much to happen at all this January, unless injuries or sales force our hand. Or someone makes a move for one of the players we are particularly keen on, which is why Luuk De Jong is looking increasingly likely, there is a very high chance that other teams will move for him.}
I wonder if Keisuke Honda's name may start to get mentioned a lot over the next few weeks?

not a rumour, more of a question to the ed's...listening to talksport over last couple weeks, Alan Brazil keeps going on about Newcastle having agreed to bring in a Sochaux player..he dosn't mention the name but could it be Boudebouz? are we just building ourselves up for a fall here? your comments please?... {Ed002's Note - It is Modibo Maiga.}
