Ed0002 how will we be financial come the summer think it's going to be a big summer for us this year we have looked a midfielder down this season and with Milner out of contract that makes 2 I think Ox has proven his still a good squad player to have but surly Naby has played his last season so that's 3 midfielders. Bobby has looked way past his best now for a couple of seasons with Origi all so out of contract there seems a lot of work to do I have seen a lot of people saying they think Mane should go this summer, but for me with the amount of work needed on are squad I think we need to keep Mane and Salah.
I do think Tyler Morton looks like he could step up am not sure if there is anymore Kiddies ready as I don't watch u23 and u18 football but it does look like we need to spend bigger this summer than we have in previous years.

{Ed002's Note - The club will soon announce the losses reflecting the impact of the pandemic and will likely have to continue to borrow money if they cannot raise funds through sales.

I think some supporters might be in for a shock when they see the annual accounts when published. It’ll hopefully be a timely reminder of how quickly things can change, it was only a few years ago that we reported a huge profit.

I’m a firm believer that ALL clubs should live within their means. Not sure that always happens though….

ED2 is situation as bad as Barcelona or Real Madrid.

{Ed002's Note - It doesn't work like that.}

Johnnyr1970 I've been saying this for a while, especially when people have been saying "pay him what he wants" when it comes to Salah's new contract.

Our financial situation isn't bad as some fans are making here. Infact not only us but 99.9% of clubs in Europe will be making loss coz of C. V and nothing to do with this season coz we are back on track with fans back in the stadium.

Winning every game in CL and going deep will help us a lot too financially. From next season things will go back to where we were pre C. V 😊👍.

I really don't think a lot of fans will care. at least not until the club are on the brink of administration and then they'll look to the sky and wonder what has been going on lol From reading fans comments it comes across to me like they expect the owners to spend with no regard, so can't see how these records would change that thinking.

Just don't want profits made every window Faith, think that's quite reasonable.

I would like to think we can soon get back to sound financial footing. If the Carvalho deal is successful, we will probably only need to spend a large fee on a midfielder. We just need to spend smart, promote youth and ride this out.

Yeah I can imagine that every club that goes into administration the reason behind it was from fans giving their opinions on a website.
