Great 2 get the win, badly badly needed. i thought we average enough but better as game went on.
Trent+jota showing what we've been missing. What a footballer trent is, said it b4 and il say it again the new manger should be building a team around him. I've seen more quality off him in 2 60 odd minute performances than I have off rest of team in a month.
Gakpo done well also. Robbo +endo + grav better in 2nd half than 1st.

I was nervously looking over my shoulder at Spurs until I saw their run in 😂🤣😂.
They’ll be lucky to get 6 more points.

I agree. Think that second half might have been the best I’ve seen us play in over a month. Jota helps. Gakpo on form also. I’d start those 2 and toss up between the rest for the other spot.

So happy to see that result, I couldn't watch more than 10 mins as got called out to work but I was concerned about the game, going on recent performances I thought we'd lose it. Thankfully we didn't, a great result. Keep going Liverpool, PLEASE! keep going.

i thought we did ok
but cause we played with more intensity and finishing, we got the win we needed
really it was that simple
if we played with that bit more intensity and finishing, our season would look very different now
Bradley is probably the better defender, but TAA offers the kind of delivery that no one else does in the team. i did love for him to stay out wide if he plays RB or just stick in him DM and really not do the inverted FB thing, as in spite of the win, the does make us a little unbalanced still
Jota too does one thing very well, in spite of his more average overall play, and that is to score. he is probably the best finisher we have now

lets get the wins and see where we land. if a miracle happens, we may still nick the league as unlikely as it seems now but at least let's qualify for CL cause going by our early Apr form, it was looking to be in danger

on to the derby next. Ed025, now that there's no more legend Origi, a world class Gakpo, 96min winner, off his thigh after a goal line scramble, how does that sound for you?

{Ed025's Note - Divock has always been a very low standard player sg but he did have the indian sign on us, i wouldn,t mind Gakpo playing to be honest because i think hes worse than Origi myself...i have probably put the mockers on us now though mate.. :)

I thought we were really poor in the first half, slow and always passing back and sideways. We had a great chance early on when Trent stayed wide, then he came inside for the rest of the half. I just don't get it, he used to get more assists than anyone playing wide.

Second half was better, not perfect but more direct and we made more chances, the subs didn't have much affect other than seeing the game out.

That's a better performance. players were faster on the ball, more aggressive, determined . that's why we moan about the team when we play like we have lately, because we know we can play like today.

I love Nunez and Salah but a big difference was taking them out. They are both off it right now.

Jota, Gakpo and Diaz looked far more dangerous. Gakpo looks really lively. I'd keep going with that but I doubt Klopp will.

I'd keep starting Elliott too.

Elliot was poor. Misplaced passes, wrong decisions and can’t tackle. Better than Szob though. But wouldn’t be a starter for me. Think Grav keeps his place so endo, macca and grav on Wednesday. Quansah needs to learn how to pass forwards as he’s constantly slowing us down. Jota was appalling but scores and we desperately need goals. Trent let 2 throw ins go over his head and they were in behind him. Very very basic defending. Twice! His passing is key for us though so I guess we just hope his defending doesn’t cost us against Everton. Rest were good and that’s all we needed against Fulham. Wouldn’t start Nunez or Salah again on Wednesday. The 20 mins they had proved they are off form and we have no time to play them into form and lose any more games.

That’s why we have a squad. Changes need to be made at points during the season. Fatigue, form, and playing time all need to be accounted for. We have a very good squad and Klopp trusts them. It won’t always work, but today it did.

Slightly better half but not by much. Trent is pure class, and we have missed him as good as Bradley has been. If the Liverpool game isn't doing it for you watching United blow a 3-0 lead when there was just 19 minuets left against Coventry is rather amusing . 96th minuet equaliser for Coventry, fair play to them.

We have bottled it. These players have bottled it, klopp’s team selection shows he has bottled it. Oh well, there’s always next season. If we only end up with the carabao cup, then this season has been a huge failure.

The draw to United and the insipid performance last weekend aren’t exactly the mark of a team doing well, that is without mentioning the horror show at Anfield against Atalanta. If we’ve not bottled it, we’ve thrown it away as the title was in our own hands. We’re now relying on Arsenal and City dropping points and us getting maximum points out of our last remaining games, that is the only way we’ll be champions, which although not impossible, does feel highly unlikely at the moment.

I mean let's face it, most of that game was pretty ass in quality. that first goal, into i think 0 chances created (no shots) for Fulham to have 5 shots and 3 on target including their goal, was back in our normal form.
Luckily we looked better second half and didn't seem as open. Nothing hugely impressive though.
At least the 3 points mean we're getting more nailed on for CL football.

The defending we've seen all year has been masked by our 3-1 turn arounds.

Its literally hilarious how bad we can be in midfield and at the back, teams like fulham are able to generate such easy chances. I'ts insanity how it keeps happening each week.
