Bad news on the officials for the Brighton game on Sunday. Our friends, David Coote is the Ref, he is the ref who ignored penalty claims in the Arsenal game, clear penalty for me. Y
Then its our favourite, Paul Tierney on VAR, he disallowed two good goals during the Burnley game. He was also the Ref when Rodri got away with a clear handball so a penalty in the Everton Man City game. Think Coote was the Ref when VVD was seriously injured in the Everton game and Pickford got away with it.
Anyway we have to raise our game, put them Refs bad calls behind us and just win this game. Hoping for the 3 points.

Oliver was the ref when Virgil got injured. I believe Coote was on VAR. Doesn't matter who we get and I don't think there's a vendetta. They are just incompetent from top to bottom. Consistently inconsistent and inept. We simply have to put the ball in the net when we get the opportunities.

With Michael Edwards now on board, he is looking at buying another football club . Toulouse is the club of interest right now.

Hi guys on the subject of replacing salah eventually, just had a Quick Look at the best rated rw/ rf currently. The likes of Foden Saka Rodrygo and mo was number 1. Seen this Japanese lad from sociedad Takefusa Kubo, never really seen much of him 22yrs old what’s people’s thoughts. Would he be a good investment as a understudy for mo.

Stats are good, but he'll be on everyone's radar (like Madrid, for whom he used to play) as he's playing in Spain. Rated at £60m, so add another 15 to 20 if you want to prise him away from Mallorca.

Of all the options out there that fit the bill, are attainable and within the FSG model of being young and retaining value, I think Bakayoko of PSV is a stand out option and I seriously hope we are taking a look. Pedro Neto also potentially but expensive and easy injuries worry me.

Ed looks like both Bordeaux and Boavista F. C. are for sale, Do you think FSG should explore there also? What do you think?

{Ed002's Note - There atre plenty of clubs for sale. Liverpool will not be looking at these sides.}

I think southport fc would be a great feeder club, make them the next Wrexham.

Apparently Richard keys is saying alonso has chosen Liverpool for his next club, no idea how reliable this guy is.

Richard Keys is an absolute womble

Clueless at the best of times- dangerous for the rest.

Favourite Richard Keys moment: Whining about Rafa becoming Everton manager when he himself had suggested it a year previously.

27 Mar 2024 09:41:45
Richard Keys is very reliable - he was spot on about Salah to Saudi last summer.

Oh, no, hang on. Sorry. What I meant to say was that he's jut a disgraced sell-out desperately trying to keep himself relevant.

Richard Keys, is the original and best at being a stand-in hand model for gorillas.

We should take a leaf out of Arsenals bok and withdraw all out players from International games claiming slight injuriy scares.

Bet you that all their "injured" players will be fit for City.

Good evening Ed002,

Could you give me your opinion on a multi club ownership from FSG? I'm failing to see how it benefits Liverpool and why all the Euphoria on social media. For me it benefits FSG and has nothing to do with Liverpool as it's not Liverpool buying a club. Apologies if this seems like a stupid question but there seems to be confusion amongst the Twitter experts!

Thank you in advance 👍🏼.

{Ed002's Note - There is no clear benefit for Liverpool but FSG are continuing to look at options in Europe - Toulouse is available but will bring few rewards, and the MLS where FSG could get a very good return for their money and potentially attract support they desire from the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund who they are very much in bed with.}

Is it easier to bring players into Liverpool from for example South America Ed if there is another club in the “group” in Europe?
E. g. a stint in Toulouse and then transfer to Liverpool?

27 Mar 2024 07:22:55
I was going to ask exact same question as Teddy! I don't think it any big deal for lfc and to be honest I'd prefer fsg to be concentrating on lfc at this moment in time as we be going threw big transformation this summer between everything.

{Ed002's Note - To answer the previous question. It would be easier to bring players in through another side, but not Toulouse. You would need to look at a Spanish or Portuguese side.}

Thanks Ed
That’s why City have linked with Girona then?

I see that RedBird have an 85% stake in Toulouse.

{Ed002's Note - It is not the reason for the City Football Group buying in to Girona and they already own a South American Club. RedBird want to take a profit from Toulouse, hence it being one of the clubs for sale at present.}
