Would like to see us sign david on a free transfer- young, scores and not a risky transfer ( no fees no pressure)

Wirtz is a dream signing but not sure if he using the prem clubs to get a higher wage offer from bayern. (I know they don't like selling to bayern but with a new manger possibly incoming this summer and possibly losing a few like frimpong and tah selling wirtz makes sense this summer)

If we do miss out then would love paqueta controls games and already has Prem experience.

As for left back- surely you got to do everything you can to try and buy nuno mendes of psg. Can honestly say I've never seen any left back have a good game against Mo, but this kid made a legend look like he forgot how to play football for 180mins + ET. Surely the club must have an interest in him at the very least.

We'd need to set up differently for David to thrive. In the little that I have seen him play, he seems like the type of striker who likes the ball to be played in behind the defence. He doesn't seem to be the type of striker who is involved in the build up. Imo, he would suit a counter attacking team who soaks up pressure. A team like Everton would suit him better.

I do like Paqueta as a player but if I recall correctly, he is still under investigation for the betting allegations. Can't remember if it has been resolved or not. Maybe Bruno from Newcastle would be a better alternative. He's a class A prick and we do need players like that to rile the opponents too. And he's a decent footballer on top of that as well.

It sounds like Jonathan David has some pretty financial expectations that are putting Napoli off at the moment.

Bosman signings are not always the bargain you may think they are.

Paqueta is in the middle of an investigation into gambling. don't think that one passes the sniff test unfortunately.

Neco Williams was just as effective against Mo.

Paqueta is still under investigation. I read an article just this weekend which talked about the mental toll it’s taking on him. He could well face a significant ban if found guilty so to buy him now would be a foolish move for any club.

I have to say that I don’t mind the idea of getting David in. His goals to games ratio is pretty good compared to some of the strikers we seem to be linked with. I’ll let our coaches decide whether or not he’s suited to our team though.
