What a season for the romantics!

Crystal Palace win the FA cup after 120 years.
Newcastle win the League cup after 56 years (70 for a domestic trophy)
Liverpool win league in front of fans for the first time in 35 years.

Game yesterday reminded me of 1 of the most disappointing days as a lfc supporter, losing 1-0 to Wimbledon. V v similar game, missed pen and v poor decision going against us ( Beardsley disallowed goal) . There goalkeeper having a stormer.
Just watching it yesterday like that game allover again!
Great to see palace win it, u can see how much it means to the club to win it.

That was a horrid day for me Digger. My first FA cup (as in I went to the game) . Beardsley decision was disgusting and Aldridge missed pen.

I remember stetienne watching it as a child on wee black+ white portable tv at home. When we awarded pen I went beserk as aldo never missed, i sure it be a goal! Can still remember that sinking feeling when it was saved.

Watched the game as a kid, Digger. I was not happy at all but as a kid, I just moved on. Still hurts.
