If anyone needs a good laugh, you should go out of your way to see the name Everton have decided for their new stadium.

It's called: The Hill Dickinson Stadium.

From a scouse perspective it’s actually really good to have a successful local (now international) law firm able to sponsor something as big as BMD.

That being said it’s a hilariously awful name for the ground and given people normally refer to the firm as Hill Dicks the banter writes itself.

To be fair, they are a legal company founded in Liverpool in 1810. 215 years of heritage in the City is worth something and I think Everton have done well. Shame about the name mind but a good sound company founded and based in the City is worth applauding.
