With Szoboszlai continuing to underwhelm (granted it was an excellent finish yesterday but I don't think we're getting anywhere near enough from him) and with Jones not yet absolutely demanding to be a guaranteed starter in my opinion, I would really like to see Endo alongside Gravenberch, with Mac Allister as the advanced/ attacking midfielder.

I would also like to see some proactive intervention at left back. I think Robertson is not far off being a liability at the moment. I had really hoped he would get back somewhere close to his best; he is still only 30. Tsimikas isn't a massive upgrade but I would probably prefer to see him starting than Robertson right now, but I would also be ok with Gomez having a run.

Those are the couple of tweaks I'd like to see.

Robbo has only had a couple of good games this season. With us in a very good position to push for all 4 trophies, I'd seriously consider looking at LB options in January. I'd love to wait and see how Chambers and Beck do on loan ideally, but we don't want to risk lose out of a trophy trying to be patient surely.

Szoboszlai was actually excellent yesterday, everybody judges him for his numbers or whether he looks like he’s making a difference in the opposition third but he was all over the pitch sprinting back to make up the numbers in midfield when we lost the ball, blocking passing lanes, winning the ball back, I honestly think he is one of the most crucial cogs to the way that we play and is probably tasked with running the most miles on the entire team every game. As for Robbo, shouldn’t the blame lie on Virgil’s shoulders for leaving him isolated on that side in the first place?

made the right play trying to get ball side and tackle, it was unfortunate that he conceded a questionable pen in the process, but itMs not like he got done over and over on that side the rest of the game?

Endo has played 20 minutes of the Premier league and 1 minute of CL football this season.

Unfortunately I think that shows where he is in Slots pecking order.

Szoboszlai played ver well last night so hopefully, he can continue and improve moving forward.

Robbo? I got to say it and it hurts me to say it BUT he is making mistakes and poor decision making that worries me. In the way he has defended the goal vs Saka and pen vs Diebling is just schoolboy stuff.

VVD messed up and I get is but come on, Robbo as experienced as he did should have just led Diebling (who does not have a right foot) down the line esp. with Grav on the cover. Instead, he panics, gets rattled and he tackles the kid inches for the line and a pen is awarded. Sorry, that is poor. Same with the Saka goal. Saka will always cut in on his left foot and Robbo foolishly again, panics and dives in and Saka scored.

I don't think a LB will be looked at in Jan as Gomez can also play there so don't think that's going to happen.

How the contract renewals go will obviously effect transfer decisions but Id say the club should be looking at LB/ LCB options. Chambers injury will def put him back.
