The Mancs will sit back and defend against us, and put 5 in midfield too and will be difficult to break down
We just need a decent win against CP on Monday before we make any predictions about the following Monday.

Successfully implementing a low block requires commitment, knowhow and belief from each member of the team. United have absolutely none of those things. The only way we drop points at OT is if we fail to control the game properly or mess around in front of goal. They’re a joke of a team, and a terrible one at that.

If United play to their potential and we play to ours we will wipe the floor with them. They are a very, very poor side. By far the worst United team since they were relegated, bar none.

Hey dude, they can't even defend. Put Nunez on the dwarf and we should replicate last year feat against them. No guarantees but God! The Bees annihilated them yesterday.

In fairness I would have expected them to do that against us regardless of their opening 2 results. Most teams set up against us defensively anyway so we are used to it.

Fulham came at us with energy and physicality so maybe other teams will try and copy that blue print. Personally I’d welcome that because even though we played poorly I’d rather see sides come and have a go at us over 11 players behind the ball for 95% of the game with us trying to break them down in 30 yards of space.

Fulham and Brentford tried to win 2 games of football against 2 of the biggest teams in English football which in actual fact is quite refreshing.

Seeing teams try to win games rather than setting up for a draw is what football needs more of.

really can’t see manU sitting back against us. At home, new manager, trying to implement his style. No way they play a low block.

OP, aren't you jumping the gun a little bit here? No result is guaranteed before hand and WE of all people, would be in the best position to know that. I think we need to focus on the Palace game first before anything else. We’ll deal with Utd later.

Hello OliRed, Bang on the money, the next game for us is the most important Crystal Palace, we have already witnessed the effect "big heads" can have, five points behind city ( games in hand don't count for nothing unless ye win them) means we our already playing catch up, even though it's a "Marathon not a sprint", wonder which great LFC God quoted that?

Have watched Ajax (under Ten Haag) many many times over a few years, and not once did I see them "park the bus". Does he even know how to implement one, given it's so counter to his football philosophy? Really can't say. Granted, every manager has to adjust to the new players he's got, the club he has joined and the new league he's in. But what I do know is that they're going to get mauled quite a few times, if they continue playing as they just did.

I’d actually be fine if they did sit back. Nunez is an aerial threat, he’ll dominate little Martinez at the back. Just keep pumping long balls into the box and target him.
