If anyone wants a good laugh head over to the Man U page. Some fans are saying which players in the PL currently would improve their squad if they can get them in. Some of them have said PICKFORD would be an upgrade on DDE. How deluded are these guys getting!

In all fairness I get all the laughs I need on this page these days.

Thunderbird, nothing we could come up with could possibly be as funny as the idea of Michael Knighton coming back in for Utd some 30 years after his original attempt. Presumably there's nothing in it, but it's still hilarious.

Wonder will he run around the pitch doing keepy-uppies again?

More chance Michael Knight and KITT will buy them ?.

I saw that list and thought I’d stumbled on to the Newcastle page, some good players in there but the majority were for teams trying to get in the europa not top four.

Looks like they will boycott our game too, I think it’s about to get a lot worse before it improves and I feel ETH is going to get caught up in the firing line between the fans and the board. Not because he’s a bad coach but the atmosphere is going to turn very sour I feel and no manager can succeed in that scenario.

Problem for ETH is he needs to replace so many players in the team that it will take years to achieve this, and board and fans won't give him the time to do this. The fans think they are due success because they are Utd and the board and transfer team are so poor that they don't even have a strategy. If you look at Liverpool when they went through this, new owners once they started to grasp the concept of PL football went looking g for the right men to run the various sections and backed them. It's fair to say we rarely make a bad buy and players are now well paid, with a manager who buys into the concept of how the owners want to run the club.
Yes we have made mistakes along the way with Hodgson etc but have learned from these mistakes moved on and improved.
