In the year of our Lord, 2022, we have played 20 Premier League fixtures.

We have won 16 and drawn 4.

We haven’t lost a match and have a win percentage of 80%.

Just thought I’d mention the fact - note the fact - not an opinion or subject that’s open for discussion, unlike a lot of the content on this site since early Saturday afternoon.

WDW isn’t this what the site if for though mate discussion.

Let’s be honest it’s a great stat that shows what a great side we have but the truth is 19 of those 20 games have no bearing on this season.

I don’t understand why the negative posters have triggered the positive posters so much. It’s their opinion and on the grand scheme of things it has zero baring or influence on the club like any of my opinions do.

It’s a phenomenal record, as is our general record under Klopp. No one is under any illusion that we are anything other than a superb team, but it does make one wonder what else we might have achieved, and still could, had the team been equipped with just a little bit more.

Sorry for my fellow posters but I no longer bother checking the site after a game like Fulham as the negativity becomes too boring and repetitive.

100% The Jurgenator I don’t come on and look for a couple days the negativity is insane at the moment.

I don't blame you Kloppers and Jurgenator. If the negative posters actually focused on more underlining issues the team has like for ex., how LFC have started games poorly of late conceding the first goal for the 5th time in a row vs Fulham rather than on their petty tantrums/ agendas about what the club isn't doing to please them, we may actually get somewhere and get good debates and solutions. But that's not what they are here for now, is it? Negativity and gloating is their order of the day. Can't be arsed, really.

@JK I understand that 19 of the 20 games were ‘last season’ but to suggest they have no relevance is nsive. Are you suggesting that in the 12 weeks since the season ended the players have forgotten how to play? Are you saying that by November this year there will be a massive fall off in squad skill levels and player capabilities? Of course players age and of course other teams change things don’t remain static but from our perspective ver the course of the year we have lost one regular starter and brought in two new starters Diaz and Nunez and potentially a third in Carvalho and a fourth of a now fully fit Elliot.

There’s no doubt that the performance against Fulham was poor. Equally there was no doubt that the performance against City the week before was very good.

My point was / is that the over thinking and negativity after one below par game is unwarranted when looked at a bit more objectively and the fact that we are unbeaten in the league this calendar year would suggest that a lot f the opinions expressed are not based in anything close to resembling fact.

It’s cos the negative posters are irrational and their solutions are unrealistic.

Yebbut, we lost the CL final and couldn't a score a goal in two domestic finals so we need a number nine.
Oh, hang on.

They're not supporters Oli. They are glory seekers.
Supporters get behind the team no matter what, glory seekers will moan incessantly if we aren't romping to a win every single game we play.
Look at some of the posts even when we do win, some can only ever see what was done wrong (in their limited perception) .

So I'm not alone in this. This is the first time I visited the site since the game and still there is a lot of talk about it and negative talk I mean by that. Slowly I feel that most of us will quit visiting the site at all unfortunately. Some people allready left I assume as you barely see them posting if at all.

Some people forgot where were we 5 to 6 years ago and that what we achieved and keep on achieving is not something common and it is once in a lifetime thing. But yeah, let's trash talk anything and anyone all the time.

If the negative posters are on the wind up its def working as its like loose women on here lol.

WDW wasn't a dig at you mate and i agreed with what you were saying as it shows what an amazing team and manager we have here. I was disappointed more than annoyed with Sat because as Klopp put it, it was the attitudes that let us down. The beauty of this squad is we will likely go on some silly winning run now to prove the doubters wrong but the truth is the Fulham result could still bite us in the ass.

In answer to your question mate i've not mentioned players abilities or there will be a fall off as we all know if we can keep our best players available then there won't be.

All I'm saying is that 19 of the results have no bearing on this season as the league table shows us on 1 point rather than 52.

Guys this isn't by no means a dig at anyone and its actually quite worrying to read but if what people say on an internet fans page forum effects you that much that you're having to stay off the page or are thinking of quitting it then maybe for your own health you shouldn't be on such sites.

I read lots of posts on here that go from one extreme to another and majority i probably don't agree with but i either find them amusing or i simply scroll past.

If fans moaning about a game of football is effecting some that much then maybe get out in the sunshine and spend time with the family as its not good for you doing something that is clearly causing you distress.

It's not about health JK. At least for me. It is boring and it is just waste of time. I feel for the eds and to be honest I am surprised they did not said enough is enough and closed the site. Its been alfull these last 2-3 years. And note that we do not see behind the scenes and all the abusive comments that are deleted.

mmmm I’m in two minds on that one JK. I get what you’re saying, but you’re essentially encouraging irrationality and extremism as normal on here and online. I don’t advocate for that. There is a happy medium for sure but I think we’ve veered away from that hence people are saying they’d prefer to stay away.

The silver lining for me is that people tend to shut up when the team are performing well, which is more often than not. So I look forward to returning to normal order soon.

You need to be careful in the sunshine, JK. It can be harmful to your health.

Mart good to hear it’s not effecting your health.

Faith 100% mate I’m not trying to encourage irrationally or extremism (which I think is crazy to even mention) . I’m only speaking for this site mate and any other sites that has toxic behaviour on I choose purposely to stay away from.

I don’t see what the Ed’s don’t post so I cannot and am not commenting on that or justifying it. All I was saying is if the site is causing people issues or making them unhappy then maybe it’s not for them for their own sake.

Anfield has an amazing crowd and every time I’ve been I’ve always seen or heard the occasion moaner who isn’t happy but it doesn’t mean I would leave Anfield for it.

By no means am I encouraging people to be toxic toward each other on here and I’ve not seen any kind of personal arguments on here and all I’ve seen is different of opinions.

Personally If 99% of people had a different opinion to me it wouldn’t matter. As my opinions is my opinion and it’s personal to me.

Long and short positive and negative supporters can't understand why everyone doesn't think like they do. Its as if other opinions aren't allowed irrespective of how far fetched they are.
Imagine if everyone had the same opinion, a bunch a yes men! Form your own opinion, debate the point and don't get your knickers in a twist.
If you can't do that or it upsets you then any form of social media isn't for you. Reality is that it doesn't really matter, its football, in the grand scheme of things it mean very little. Baffles me that people get so annoyed and wound up.

There's a bit of a difference between making a point and coming on here on a daily basis and ranting the same old negative rubbish.
The same negative rubbish that then totally disappears when we win a couple of games on the trot.
Quite often now I'll see someone's name on a post and just scroll past as I can often predict almost word for word what they have to say.
That isn't commenting, that's venting.
I don't see the point in it as it's not as if the posters or Eds on here can buy players or influence Klopp in any way.
But it takes all sorts.

19.) 10 Aug 2022
10 Aug 2022 14:27:08
When I scroll past peoples posts I couldn’t tell you if they were talking rubbish. That’s the whole idea of scrolling past.

20.) 10 Aug 2022

It’s clear as Crystal that we are weak in midfield but Klopp won’t have it.

21.) 11 Aug 2022

I'm fine with opinions. but when the opinion seems to be "FSG suck because they haven't signed a 10th midfielder" then we're just on different planets to having a sound discussion. This is at the heart of what people are saying when talking about staying away from the discussion.

22.) 11 Aug 2022
11 Aug 2022 06:49:23
Si Faithinworks. You talk about people complaining about a 10th midfielder. It could easily be argued that 3 are quite injury prone, 1 is ancient, 2 are kids etc etc. So in actual fact it isn't as cut and dried as you might think. All opinions should be welcome and debated respectfully.

The above isn't my opinion but I'm willing to understand where they are coming from and it doesn't annoy me one bit.

23.) 11 Aug 2022
11 Aug 2022 22:08:46
No I'm not just talking about people complaining about a 10th midfielder. the discussion point is why some people are saying they will leave the site alone. So I am just making the point that it isn't just about opinions, at the root of it is having reasonable debate and discussion in reality. and spilling guts over a midfield group that is already stacked is part of the reason why other posters are saying they take a break from on here.

so if you want to discuss the actual midfielders we already have then that is a far different discussion. and given Klopp gets all the praise for his apparent recruitment, then he should be getting all the blame for these injury prone players. I don't prescribe to that, but the reality is that these players are here and unless Klopp is going to move some on to bring others in that we're stuck with. Is that Klopp's fault? I don't think so, but people seem to think he has done all the recruiting so then surely logic follows that this rests solely at his feet.

For me, the midfield is fine. 9 bodies. mix of youth, experience. yes there are injured players and we have plenty of cover to make do. We've never been the kind of club to have 9 first choice players for any position group. that is the reality for us so Klopp has to do the work to make it work with the players he has. which is plenty!
