Obviously nunez isn’t our player yet and anything can happen. If we do sign him and there’s a change of system do you think Klopp would have looked at the fact that we didn’t score in all the cup finals and Klopp wants to change it up.

I think so, that's pretty much how I felt after the Champions League Final. We need to switch it up and maybe some of our players think they are far better than they actually are. Like you say, not only did we not score in any of the cup finals but we also couldn't beat any of the other top four sides in the league. That's not entirely the fault of our forwards but a lot of the blame does lie with them. We've squandered too many chances for far too long, not only that but we've always had a general air of inefficiency as a whole; shooting when a chance isn't on, not passing in the box etc. Weirdly, we won two trophies and yet somehow i feel still underperformed when all was said and done. Switching it up, moving towards a more composed squad, as opposed to handing out 400k per week contracts left and right, is the correct move for me.

Not scoring in 300 mins of final football was a major fecking problem, something has to change.

To be fair John you could say we scored 16 goals in 2 finals.
