Seems like the Nunez deal is looking highly likely. He comes in, Mane leaves. Sounds like crazy money to me but the club must really rate him if they’re prepared to stump up that amount of cash. Can’t say i’ve seen much of him or that what i have seen has blown me away, but if club think he is the man then i back their stance. Will be nice to have a proper centre forward again.

Are we assuming that this means that Salah will stay this summer and see out the rest of his contract? The likelihood of them both going in the same summer seems unlikely, but i wouldn’t be opposed to it if it meant we had a more harmonious and hungrier squad as a result. The likes of Raphinha are out there and very obtainable.

Nunez, Ramsey and Carvalho through the door at this early stage of the summer would be great business. I think a box to box midfielder is also essential, as would be any replacement for Salah if he leaves.

Seems like we’re taking the rebuilding process very seriously. A refresh is both needed and welcome.

However I think for us he would be a brilliant player. He had everything to be a superstar for this team.

Nunez would be some signing. If Ward/ Klopp pull it off, then they should be granted the freedom of the City!

Nunez into the squad and Mane leaving would give us 5 competitive forwards still next season.
Salah and Diaz get a 7 week mid season break and maybe even Bobby if he’s not selected in the Brazil squad. Personally I’d like to see Bobby remain injury free next season as much as possible for what could be his swan song season.
I thought he was excellent this season coming off the bench against tired legs.

I'm just pleased the club are looking at getting a proper striker in whether Nunez joins or not as that's what we missed last year. and a midfielder. Could it be a transfer window where all our hopes are answered.
