I really wish Liverpool would make a run at Rice. In my opinion he is exactly what we need in our midfield.

Very much agree, I see him as the natural successor to Hendo, both on and off the pitch. However, I think he is over priced and he is also a massive Chelsea fan and they are rumoured to be in for him.

Rice at 100m is madness. As for Phillips, I don’t see what’s extraordinary about him. He’s not better than Thiago nor Fab nor even Hendo when he’s on form. A bit overrated, IMO.

Mane is good but what would happen if he got a serious injury?

The ball is in the Fenway court.

At 30 Mane would have to be replaced at some stage anyway.

Time to build for the future.

Expensive to replace? Unless one is lucky and a great player is found on the cheap.

Fenway need to invest for success.

Timo Werner couldn't cut the mustard in the Premier.
Maybe Hyland will be the same for City?

Phillips is horribly over rated, Kimuraking. th, he can’t defend, he’s as mobile as a breeze block and he moves so slowly it looks like his feet are stuck in tar. His passing is ok, but nothing more than that.

Thankfully it looks like City are taking the bait.

I've been saying it for months now. Declan Rice could be a Roy Keane type of buy for whomever forks out the money. He'll be that important to a team and he would be perfect for us.

I was likening Rice to the Kante purchase. Chelsea really got good there.
