For me Trent was again exposed tonight and it's a other rashford old Trafford moment he either wakes up and switches on defensively or he moves to midfield. Weaknesses get exposed and that was reals game plan, far post balls to vinicius and Trent will switch off and he did. Trent has a lot to prove now.

What coming our way? Players can leave if they wish. They're not bigger than the club and the club should be held to randsom by noone.
This group of players have been magnificent all season. It wasn't meant to be. There's room for improvement, both in the squad and such players as elliot and Jones could be fantastic for us next season.
Also konate was magnificent. 23 and what a performance.

I'm going to ask a question and I hope you don't blast me as it's just a bit of banter. Should we go out and get a right back and move TAA to the midfield? He has the skill to be a Gerard type world class midfielder. Having said that, if the club decides to keep him at right back, I'm good with it. Curious what you all think.

It has shown we need better quality still in certain areas, trent and robbo need to be rotated more the amount of football has shown on them in the last stretch of the season .
We haven't scored a goal in any finals this season which shows we are lacking cutting edge up front and penetration in midfield.

You can't blame Trent when Klopp encourages him to keep on attacking, he can't be at Both hand. Where was our midfield to track Vini or konate? Wasn't Konate battling with vini whenever TAA overlapped.

We need to start looking at our attacking players had the same problem against Spurs, and Chelsea Both cup finals.

We just can't keep on ignoring and kicking the can further forward.

We have got a very good core from Allison, VVD, FAB Hendo just need to start accepting reality and addressing them instead of ignoring and delaying the inevitable.

Trent has a lot to prove? Utter bollocks. His passing was off tonight and they had one chance and scored. It's a one off game and anything can happen. Best team by far and we lost. Trent did ok. He's a fabulous footballer. If anything, I think he tried too hard to find a killer pass, cross or shot.
I'd sooner have someone trying too hard than not hard enough.
The ball for their goal was difficult to deal with and you can't just blame Trent. 8 times out of 10 that 'cross' goes for a goal kick and Sid Vicious Jnr was inches from being offside anyway.
Trent is part of the future of the club.

First of all congratulations to the Liverpool team for this wonderful season although they would have liked to win at least one more trophy.

They've got a good first eleven. However, they haven't got good strength in depth. Players like Milner, Ox, Minamino, Jones, Firmino or Keita are just not good enough to come on and make a difference if and when needed.

What they also haven't got is the riches of teams like Man City, Real Madrid or PSG who are able to offer the extra cash in fees and wages.

Strengthening the midfield and attack would be key this summer.

Trent was exposed once, that’s bollocks we didn’t take our plenty chances was the issue. Credit to Madrid they defends drsther well. I think salah need a change of scenery if a big bid come in I’d let him go. He seems like her needs a change of scenery in himself. Taking Diaz off was a mistake should have went with two in the midfield and just went hung ho.

Stone, we have the best right back in the world so there's no point buying one to move him into midfield. He's played three CL finals at his age.
He's one of the reasons we've been to three finals and are regularly challenging for the League.

We simply didn't show up for any of the 3 finals this season. 0 goals in 300 mins of football says it all. Yes, it's at the stage where it's that fine of margins, but that Real side were there for the taken, they're not that good and we sh*t the bed, again.
