could it be possible we lose Salah, and Mane this summer?

We know that Origi is Milan bound and there are also rumours that Lazio, Inter and leeds are interested in Takki, Firmino has also been muted as leaving that would leave us with Jota and Diaz as our only senior attackers.

Would Klopp let both Salah and Mane go at the same time? and if he does than surely we would already have players lined up to take there place.

This is purely me speculating but of course eventually the current front line will need replacing and refreshing its just a question of when and how.

The Salah situation shows no sign of ending and we know Bayern would love to sign Mane.

It will be interesting to see what happens after the cl final as regards to our strikers.

I think Mane will go and Diaz has already replaced him . it depends on Real how much offer they make for Salah coz the club would want to resolve ASAP after CL. So yes there's possibility Both can go

Think Klopp must be already thinking abt evolution when he extended he's contract.

We won't be losing both in the window. If I were to lose one, it would be Mane because we have enough cover on the left side in Diaz and Jota. Having said that I hope both stay and we move on Firmino, TM and the Ox and use the funds raised to buy a forward thinking midfielder.

I 100% agree that Diaz has replaced Mane on the left wing but then at the same time Mane has replaced Bobby and Jota in the centre forward position. I think only Kane and Ronaldo scored more league goals from the centre forward position this season and Mane played there for about 3 and a half months of it.

I’m not sure other top class teams would be in such a rush to get rid of a goal scoring centre forward.

Yes jk23 mate but other teams don't have players who've just one yr left and looking for last big pay check?

Agree JK, however, if we go by what Ed002 has told us, Mané and his agent have some serious financial demands. It again comes down to how much the club are willing to pay. This whole Mbappe deal with PSG has again just falsely inflated the football economy and will further alienate the sport from the fans.

Kopforever and Stuie I agree lads it’s not an ideal position to be in but who’s fault is it that the players are down to 12 months.
With regards to Mane I know it’s been said he has high financial demands but he’s like our 10th top earner so either money isn’t that important to him or if it is then maybe he deserves a bumper pay rise. After all Ox, Milner, Naby and Bobby etc get paid far more than him with far less output on the pitch.

Only an opinion lads. I’m desperate to see both Salah and Mane stay and if truth be told if Utd or City were in this position we’d probably laugh at them for messing it up.

Don't know why I think Klopp would be extremely happy if Salah and mane can bring decent pot of cash tho

If you've listened klopp's recent interviews carefully he talks a lot abt 'building again' 'next phase' etc etc.

Kopforever every team has to rebuild mate but haven’t Mane and Salah just proven that they are still in their prime. Moving players on is part and parcel but moving them on when they are still producing such quality could be a mistake.

I know we say we need to cash in on Salah and Mane before it’s too late but for me is there any need to cash in. What if Bowen at 50-80 mill and Nunez at 70-80 mill not including wages etc don’t hit the ground running or actually get found out at bigger clubs.

Last year we tied down a 30 year old Henderson to a big long term contract and the season before we bought Thiago.

If the basis is to sell Mane and Salah Because they are 30 then we haven’t got long left to enjoy Vvd 30. Fab 28, Robbo 28 and Allison 29.

Jk23 mate you're ignoring in 2-3 yrs will need to replace them without them having any value.

We have an ageing squad which needs to start to be refreshed.

It doesn't make any sense for our club to commit huge chunk of our revenue on Salah and mane when they're not part of our future.

The club have no option but start the next phase of our evolution coz you can't have your best assets at 30+

Just look at city how smartly they're letting their 30+ years old players leave and bringing more youthful in their squad .

Just look at Diaz how much fire he has come with? We need more of them if we want the continuity of our success.

{Ed001's Note - they kept David Silva for a while and he only left because he rejected a very good offer to return home. They still have Fernandinho, even though he is well past his best and Kompany only left because he chose to leave. The ones that are replaced are the ones that fall out with Pep, nothing to do with age.}

Kopforever you’re ignoring the fact that the club have already offered Salah a new contract and haven’t said anything about wanting to sell Mane. So I’m not sure if Klopp is in that much of a rush to lose them.

We are going on the basis of we need to sell to buy but what happened with succeed to buy. Surely the success of this season in PL and Europe has increased revenue and why can’t we sign Bowen and Nunez in 12-24 months time when their contracts have either run down or have less time left on them.

Ed1 mate thought City are Open to move on İlkay Gündoğan, fernandinho and even sterling if they can find the buyer?

{Ed001's Note - that is not because of their age, except in Fernandinho's case, who should have gone 2 years ago. Pep has wanted rid of Sterling since the day he took charge.}
