I just read something and thought I would ask if anyone here could confirm it? Minamino didn't get a medal? How is that possible, if true? Our highest goalscorer for League and FA cup combined.

Even I was extremely shocked I thought our club would make/ order more medals for players and coaching staff who missed. Not cool at all. Oh

Klopp said in his presser that they didn't get enough medals and more or less asked the FA to make more. So I don't think it was a simple case that the club "didn't order enough medals", unless someone in a senior administrative position at the club can't count. I think it's more likely the FA made X amount of winners medals, and if that wasn't enough for us to give one to everyone we wanted, then someone misses out.

If the club had some made for the likes of Taku, they technically would not be real FA Cup medals from the FA. They'd be copies.

It's down to FA what allocation is provided, then it's up to the club who gets them. Reading klopps comments it sounds like there was enough for the players and coaches on the day but no extras.

Every player that has played in a FA cup game has helped us get to this point. Hopefully it gets sorted. It would be very harsh on the top scorer not to get one.

They have been given 40 medals and used 31 players I don't see a problem.

SM mate every club does by ordering same medals for players/ coaching staff who missed hence everyone is shocked by klopp's comments and talking abt it everywhere in SM.
